  1. I have a question as well

My husband filed the i-130 under my married name and we got approved but NVC addressed me in my maiden name. Is this the same with other people here? When I submitted the DS230 I used my married name again , our case is complete already with the NVC and just waiting for my interview schedule. It just made me wonder if it is the same with everybody here.

  2. okay i need advice and help everyone.

i am here now in united state by k-1 visa. but all of a sudden my fiance back out and had an affair to another woman. anyways to make my story short i left him and went to a friend and now i already overstay my visa.. not that long cause it just expired a few days ago.

he bring me here and just throw away our relationship so i needed to take care my self now. it's kinda hard cause i am alone. so i am left with so many choices .. i heard that k1 visa cannot be adjusted and if i stayed and find my self a decent guy on the future i will not be able to marry him too..

so my question is if i overstayed here for few months, go back to my country and marry another guy (us citezen) will i be able to go back then?

The best thing to do is go back in the Philippines make yourself busy by finding a new job in a different city, make new friends,

  3. For the past 7 years we've been sending my mom about $200-$400 a month.

That is her spending money for food, utilities-gas, electric, water, cable

and internet, phone). To come up with that money- I cut off my starbucks

($3.50/a day x 30 =$105); Instead of me eating out during lunch I bring my

own food from home (leftovers) and I save about $180/ a month. Also,

I have a part time job (2nd job 10 hours a week) that would give me an extra$500. My husband & I opened a secondary checking account and we gave the ATM to my mom in the Philippines (MY NAME IS ON THE ATM) but Mom knows the PIN #.She gets her allowance from the ATM and it only

charges $1.50 per transaction and We could see how much is she taking out from our ATM.

My husband is a Filipino (born & raised in the US) but we are also helping

his nephew to go to college and its alright with me as well. We do not send

the money to our nephew's parents because they end up spending it for themselves

so what we did was we pay it directly to the school.

For the relatives who needs some help... we only give them small amount say P500-

P1,000? We do not tolerate giving a lot because most of them becomes abusive. For my Mom

we really wanted to take good care of her because my dad already past away.

I like your attitude as well as your husband!!!

  5. Hi All,

I'm Charmee and I'm new in the forum , I got married last Aug 1 this year in Quezon City, I applied for a certified true copy of our MC and it is authenticated by the NSO officer in the city hall. It's in a blue color paper. Will this be alright to start the I-130?

And can I request for an endorsement letter from the LCR to NSO to get the real NSO certified MC as soon as possible?

    Many thanks :innocent:
