Our Visa JourneyHi Guys,I have a question on the Processing Estimates/Stats on our timelines. Based on my timeline, my I-129F can be adjucated as early as December 19, 2007. I know our timelines may vary depending on the situation (and how USCIS acts on it ) but does the said estimate include the NVC and the Interview phase already? Or is this just the estimated time when my I-129F will be approved?
Thanks in advanced for some enlightenment on this.

Our I-130 Timeline
July 12, 2007 - Michelle sent I-130 to CSC via USPS
July 18, 2007 - I-130 delivered to CSC
July 24, 2007 - Check for I-130 encashed by CSC
July 26, 2007 - Received our I-130 NOA1
Our I-129F Timeline
July 27, 2007 - Michelle sent I-129F to CSC via USPS
July 28, 2007 - I-129F delivered to CSC
Based on the timeline, I estimate your interview to be around early to mid Feb. Maybe even earlier than that as the fee increase would make the process quicker. (so they say)
If you guys have the patience, I would go for the CR route (I-130). Because it is cheaper and you would get the green card when you arrive in the US instead of filing AOS ($1010).

If he is coming to the US on a K-1 visa, as soon as he gets to the US, get married then file AOS as you will pay $1010 for I-485, AP & EAD.Hi EveryoneI need your advice as i am planning to file K1 in december and hoping my finance will recieve k1 visa within 6-7months and then plan to do court marriage in usa and then in nov/dec08 do Tradition marriage in india. In addition to this,he is citizen of india and will be studying in UK on F1 visa in month of Sept and wil graduate by sept08, that's another reason why i want to file k1 on later date
Now my questions are:
1) How hard is to get Advanced parole ?
2) Can it be denied too ?
3) What reason to give while filing for parole ? any suggestions ?
4) HOw long does it take to get work permit ?
5) He has plans of coming to usa on exchange std program in march08,will that hinder k1 or exchange std visa ?
6) Can he give interview at UK instead of india ? or is there 1 yr residency rule in uk?
7) how long he needs to stay in usa before getting GreenCard ? Is it 2 yrs?
I appreciate your reply and time
Wishing everyone goodluck.
peace

is someone actually going to pick up the notice and pick up my package? they never mentioned how we should send the I-129F? I hope someone's job is to pick it up...

Nevada is on the list. Look carefully. It's between Idaho and Illinois. It looks like it was not in alphabetically in order.ummmmm....Is it me being blind or is Nevada missing from the lists? -
You made a little easier for him eh?http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guideWelcome to VJ and good luck for a smooth journey.

That's great news!Up until now, our K1 Visa application has been very slow going through the process. I've constantly monitored the other CSC applications filed around the same time as ours, and each step of the way, it seems like we were in the slowest 10 percentile. It felt like our application was made of lead or something, and it was very disheartening to see people who filed at the same time, several steps ahead of us in the process.Anyhow, that all changed these past few days .... praise God! We appear to have made up for much lost time (and may have even set a new speed record) as NVC issued the letter on July 16th confirming receipt of our file from CSC, and her interview is scheduled in Sydney for July 31st .... which is only 15 days from NVC receiving the file from CSC, to her interview date in Australia!

Maybe they forgot to include the DS-3032 with the AOS fee bill but you should be getting the DS-3032 also. Did you received it yet?Hello Everybody,Is the DS 3032 and AOS fee bill should be generated together and mail to the petitioners?
My husband got the AOS fee bill and sent the bill payment to NVC at the end of June. But he still didn't receive the DS3032 form by mail so far. Also he couldn't find the case number.
How we should do now?
Look forward to hearing back!
Hope all your journeys are going well.

I noticed in your timeline that you sent a cancellation letter for K-1. Did you received confirmation that your K-1 petition had been cancelled? By the way, you need the I-130 NOA to file the K-3.

Click the guides tab located at the top of the page.I am just a rookie on this site. I want someone to educate me on the best procedure to handle the submission of my k1 visa application. I need the littliest details that worked for somebody and in line with USCIS regulation. -
Your husband needs to file another I-130 for your son.

Not to worry. You still have your AP to enter the US. I hope you made arrangements with USPS in holding your mail.Hi Guys,I received the welcome letter (notice mailed welcoming the new permanent residence) and also another email of card production ordered. Does this mean the famous card is on the way? if so, i am currently in Australia and wont be returning to the USA until 11th of sept. does anyone know how long it takes for the card to arrive? is there 2 parts to it cos one says within 60 days and other says within 30days! I also have a travel parole and was concerned if i dont have my greencard in my hands when i arrive back will i get hassled?
please help

We filed on Jan 17 and we are finished with the I-751 process. It was approved on March 16 & received green card on March 20. Your case is very long.Just wondering if there are any Jan 07 filers around, mine has a receipt date of January 25th. Nearly there *bites fingernails* -
If it passes, it passes.it is ok to send stuff in each other's name if it shows the same address....I included some evidence with just my hubby's name and some with my name on it but they both showed the same address...

What mistake did you made?Submitted my I 751 last week. I noticed that there was and entry made on it which is a mistake. How do I correct it. Would a simple letter explaining it along with Noa1 or Noa2 suffice? or do I have to refile with new fees again? How do i make corrections on an already submitted I 751 form?Thx

Sorry that no one had replied to you but what's the status with your wife & kid now?My wife had her interview on May 17, 2007. She needed to submit additional paperwork and had it all turned in on May 22, 2007. Biometrics are taken at ASC facility & usually opens from Mon-Sat. USCIS offices on the other hand are closed on Sat.Hi everyone. We just got Sheryl's biometrics appointment letter. It's scheduled for 8/11/07, which is a Saturday. Has anyone ever had biometrics on a Saturday? I really can't believe they would be open and I'm wondering if this is a mistake. -
Jack,
GC comes in a small plain envelope and not certified.Yes they are, we put them inside the box, and we've been getting mail where we live regularly, but we've never tried to get certified mail. I have no idea how they send the green card out.I almost threw ours away as I thought it was junk mail.
Some peeps have and ended up chasing the garbage truck down the street. !!
You mean that there is no return address or where it's from? We had that on ours.

This will explain why:Hi....I just found your group here... I guess we qualify for June filers not listed here....My fiancee and I sent our I-129 to Nebraska on 5-29....California received on 6-12. I have not received hard copy of NOA1. But, maybe that is okay....No news is good news?????http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/Up...stems062607.pdf

From NVC case completed to interview...I'd say about 2-3 months give or take a month. Sometimes even longer as 5-6 months from some members.I was told that I did not need to persue the K3 visa due to the fact that My other papers were already approved. So I sent all our papers to the NVC office where now we wait for an Interview date with the lagos embassy in Nigeria. I am very new to the Fourm and dont know how to do the time line. So any Help that I could get would be most helpful. My papers were completed on March 12 2007. They are in the NVC office waiting to be given an interview date..... -
Go ahead and mail it to the Vermont address. They accept the petitions 1 month prior to July 30.I have my package all ready to go... addressed in the envelope and everything. I looked at the Service Center link this afternoon... I live in Kentucky, therefore I mail to Texas. I clicked on the same link to double check the address and it's now saying effective July 30, I need to mail to Vermont. *sighs* Where should I mail my petition? I realize I will be mailing it out before the 30th, but it won't be processed by then. Help? Thanks!

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42061 all you have to do is go to the Immigration News and Discussion section or use the search function.I for one, really appreciate the direct link to last year's news because it seems like I've been explaining this new procedure several times a week lately. I read the release last fall and bookmarked it but my hard drive crashed in January and I haven't been able to find the link to the release. -
I'm just wondering when was the bio appt?In the continuing saga of the apparently missing biometrics (to complete AOS) ... #######???Another reply from Mr. Chen:
RE: Case # MSCXXXXXXXXX
Date: Tue, 24 Jul 2007 15:43:38 -0700
From: "CSC XII 485" <CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov>
To: Me
A check of our records show that there is no Mr. S’s biometrics data in California Service Center system. Mr. S must go to the ASC when he receives the appointment notice to have his biometrics captured. Otherwise, his I-551 cannot be produced. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Officer C. Chen
Congressional & Customer Service Division
California Service Center
USCIS/DHS
Please see below for my reply: I don't know what else to do from here....
After receiving your last email, Mr. Chen, we made an infopass appointment w/ the ASC to follow up on his biometrics. We showed our receipt and the officers there informed us that Mr. S's biometrics had indeed been completed and sent to your office. If you do not have the information on record, how can we provide it to you again? The ASC here has verified that it has been completed and sent.
Thank you for any information you could provide us with.
Sincerely,
Me
I-751 will be submitted tomorrow, August 1 to VSC
