    11 wks AP!! :( Planning a trip to see my love in a couple of weeks. My 4th trip to egypt in under a year!! Praying for a miracle, that this AP will end and he can return home with me!!!

    10 weeks in AP....I'm getting tired of the same response; pending, pending, pending!!! I don't think he'll ever get his visa :(

      Keep the faith girl! Sounds like embassy is gonna be back up n running Thursday..hopefully your AP will be over soon and he'll have his visa before u can plan another trip :D

      it definately is not easy and they surely don't care about us. I'm planning another trip to Egypt in a few weeks if we don't hear any news. Saying a prayer for all of us waiting :(

    thanks...I don't understand why they haven't reopened it yet, or at least start rescheduling interviews for the immigrant visas again. I hope you get your interview soon and that you don't have a long wait after

    Hey, thanks for the add :) I'm doing ok, just waiting and trying to be patient. How are things going for you? The last I heard was last week from the embassy, I had emailed them and they replied that they had consular officers at the embassy and were working on his case.

    Embassy said they sent packet 3 out on Monday....so, where is it???????

      Mine didn't show up for almost 10 days after they said it was sent out. It usually sits around for a bit then we have to rely on wonderful Canada Post!

      oh really, thats crazy!! The embassy said it was sent via DHL and he should have received it by now. They are sending him another one out by Sunday. We had to change his address and I have a feeling the embassy sent it to the wrong address..

    You're more than welcome!! The news of your short AP actually give me hope (Im sure it wasn't short to you both) that if my fiance get put into AP that he won't be there for eternity. Rachel you better get her wedding dress ready!! :) Have safe travels and welcome to the USA!!

    Congrats again on the Visa!!!! I have a question though, did you have to pay $131 for the application before you returned packet 3, or did you pay at the time of the interview? And is it still $131 or did it go up? Thanks
