Hi odne! thanks!!! I am now on my 7th month and will be at BIG risk if i will travel for 24 hrs. so to keep me and the baby safe, i will just wait and give birth here instead of taking the risk. And also, my family is here and my mom is here to take care of me and the baby coz im going to give birth via c section. Mahirap naman kng d ako makagalaw tapos may pasok c hubby and i still have a 3 yr.old daughter to look after. So it would be beneficial for me and the baby, for all of us actually kng dito ako manganganak. Are you pregnant? ilang months?

HI VJ FAM! YESTERDAY WAS OUR VISA INTERVIEW AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL AND GOT APPROVED!!!

I WANT TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCE VERY BRIEFLY COZ EVERYTHING WENT BY SOOOOOO FAST =) NO HASSLES!!!

WE ARRIVED AT THE USEM AS AROUND 6 AM SINCE OUR SCHEDULE IS 7 AM AND BY THE TIME THAT WE ARRIVED WE WE'RE ASKED TO GO INSIDE AND SCANNED OUR THINGS. I AM WITH MY DAUGHTER AND MOTHER SINCE I HAVE A 3 YR.OLD BABY AND PREGNANT MY MAMA WAS ALLOWED TO GO INSIDE AS WELL.

AT 6:15, WE WE'RE ASKED TO FALL IN LINE TO A BOOTH AND HAVE OUR DS230 PREPARED, 3 2X2 PHOTOS AND APPOINTMENT LETTER AND AFTER THAT THEY GAVE US A NUMBER AND THEY LET US SIT BY THIS TIME.

AND AT 6:40, THEY CALLED OUR NO. FOR THE FINGER SCANNING. NO FINGER SCANNING FOR CHILDREN.

AND EXACTLY 7 AM, MY NO.WAS CALLED AT WINDOW 24, A VERY NICE FILIPINA LADY WAS SEATED AND STARTED THE QUESTIONING.

- WHAT IS YOUR FULL NAME?

- WHEN IS YOUR BDAY?

- WHAT IS YOUR DAUGHTER'S NAME?

- BIRTHDATE

- PETITIONER'S NAME

- BIRTHDATE

- HOW,WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND MEET?

- WHAT YEAR DID YOU GET MARRIED?

- AND THEN SHE ASKED FOR PICS,REMMITTANCES AND EMAIL/LETTERS.

AND AFTER THAT, SHE SAID THAT WE HAVE TO SIT DOWN AGAIN AND WAIT FOR OUR NO. TO BE CALLED FOR THE FINAL INTERVIEW.

AT 8 AM, WINDOWS FROM THE CO ROOMS ARE NOW OPEN. AND 5 MINS LATER WE WERE CALLED AT ROOM 37(IM GUESSING ON THIS) NAKALIMUTAN KO NA UNG ROOM NO.

WE ENTERED THE ROOM AND AN AMERICAN, TALL, WHITE AND BALD GUY GREETED US GOODMORNING =)

HE ASKED FOR MY NAME,BDATE,DAUGHTER'S NAME,BDATE,PETITIONER'S NAME AND BDATE. AFTER ANSWERING, HE MADE US RAISE OUR RIGHT HAND INCLUDING MY MOM AND MADE US SWEAR THAT ALL THAT WAS WRITTEN IN DS230 WE'RE ALL TRUE AND MADE ME SIGN THE 2ND PART.

AND HE JUST ASKED WHATS THE WORK OF MY HUSBAND AND WHEN IS THE LAST TIME THAT HE VISITED US. AND ASKED HOW WAS OUR ROADTRIP FROM TARLAC. HE ALSO ASKED ME ON WHERE DO I WANT TO GIVE BIRTH AND I SAID THAT I WOULD LIKE TO DELIVER MY BABY HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND HE SAID THAT VISAS HAVE TIME VALIDITY AND I SAID AS SOON AS WE GET THE PASSPORT FOR MY NEWBORN WE WILL FLY TO THE US. AND HE SAID OK, I DONT SEE ANY PROBLEM WHY I CANT APPROVE YOUR VISA. SO CONGRATULATIONS YOUR VISA IS APPROVED AND WELCOME TO THE USA. HAVE A SAFE DELIVERY! AND WE SAID THANK YOU! HE ASKED US TO SIT AND WAIT FOR OUR NAMES TO BE CALLED FOR THE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS.

NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, AND FINALLY WE WERE CALLED AT WINDOW Y AND GAVE ME THE PINK SLIP AND FILLED UP THE DELIVERY FORM FOR AIR21 AND PAID 270 EACH FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. AND FINALLY WERE DONE

WE WERE OUT OF THE EMBASSY AT EXACTLY 9:45.

AND TO ALL WHO ARE GOING TO HAVE YOUR INTERVIEW, DONT GET SO STRESSED COZ ITS LIKE A PREPARATORY EXAM. NO SWEAT AT ALL =)

Maui23, try to call NVC and ask them what's really missing. And ask your husband if he can send you a copy of all the documents that was sent to NVC. Just hang in there, i'll keep praying for you.

I was just so happy reading your post as if were related! heheheheh... but yea, you will be just fine. you just have to fly over here in the US as soon as you'll get your visa. and pm me your number so i can call you if you need more info about insurances and coverage! congratulations... im not even thinking that you have to be interviewed... it was just a simple step to take for you to finish all these.

Hello to all VJ family, today my husband received their visas from USEM 3days after the interview... :dance: We are so glad we got it... THANK YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST...

And to all here... Hopefully ur cases will be next in line for the interview.. God Bless us always.. It was a long journey for us but all is well now... and Thanking God coz the process got shorter and faster than I expected.. Ive never really expected this.. all I know was, I must be a US citizen before I can have them here.. but nope God is so good.. I was wrong then.. so to all LPR's here... Goodluck to us and may God continue to bless us all... we wil keep praying...

Let me tell you this, 2 years ago I went online and registered for infopass to get to the USCIS office to inquire on my case status for my family, and in the office spoke to a kind lady.. telling me there is nothing I can do but to wait till they will approve my case.. and it made me cry in front of her... but those were one of my memories on this journey.. I can only smile at it now.. at last our reunion with my family is sooner..

So cheers to all of us here.. we will be reunited sooner than expected with our family... God bless us all..

hello vj family! i would like to share another step in my visa journey. Last July 9, i tried sending an expedite request to the nvc due to the reason that i am 6 months pregnant. I am not so confident that they will approve it or give attention to it. So i called nvc today and told me that my expedite request is approved and sent my documents to USEM in Manila. Im so happy with the result. Now i have to wait till tomorrow or maybe friday to call the Embassy and ask if i already have the schedule.

Kareen, your PD is June 2007 and mine is May 2007. My case was completed last May 14 and yours last June 14. So if ever i will get my sched next week..you be next in line then.

Oo nga no but i pray kuya that we will also have our interview this coming August because i am on 6th month of pregnancy and if ever i'll have the interview for august then maybe just maybe i'll be with my hubby before i give birth. im keeping my fingers crossed on this one! congrats kuya i know you are next in line for interview and if ever i will not have the luck then maybe by september it'll be my turn. Aww thank u kareen... I hope by july 12 u will recive a response... By week 4 call them and just ask them u want an update on ur case... Just so they note that u are asking about ur case thats wat i did n the ladie was so nice, the phone line that was speakin on was horrible but she was so nice that she stayed on the phone with me and told me i have to wait until my embassy has a schdule and the nvc will then give me a date.. But she told me lebanon isnt as busy as other countrys.. They are so nice, anyway hopfully u will recieve an interview as soon as possible kareen and everyone else.. Now that i am this stage im freakin out, lol its like a game everyone is at different levels and some are at the same level some of us will win the game some of us will lose.. So good luck

thanks girl! i was told to call 3rd week of july but will surely call 2nd week or july 15th. i hope and pray that we will have the slot then. i know USEM in Manila is one of the busiest embassy because most of the intending immigrants are from here in the Philippines but i still have the hope in my heart that i will get the most awaited schedule for august. Dont freak out, your husband will be fine dont worry so much, just remind him to bring every single requirements with him! Goodluck!

U dont have to wait 8 weeks for ur interview i waited 4 weeks it all depends on how busy ur embassy is n ur pority date i know its hard to have ur case complete and wait but its all in matter of time and hopfully we will all be reunited with our loved ones... Take it from me i waited 9 yrs for this day.. I just hope they give him the visa.. If they dont i then give up and give in and live away from my family to being a new family... I pray for all of us and hope u guys pray for me as well..

We just got complete june 14th and waiting for the interview schedule. Im sure by the time you will give birth you are already in the US. If you will just finish your papers asap.
