i send my passport a month ago after the embassy call me that visa issued and send ur passport so i did and still i didnt got it i dont know why they r holding it? anybody know about this? how far i heard every one got his passport in 10 days i dont know why mine is taking that long whenever i call them they tell me it gona take 2 to 3 weeks after the weeks complete i call them they said it again i dont wats going on can some tell me wats going on?

when they call for the passport to send ur passport they issue visa or they ask for it for some other reason? and in how many days they issue visas? and they print the visa in pakistan or they send the passport to U.S? i send it mine on 20 as they call for it andi dont know how long it gona take for them tosend it back tome> ? i call hte embassy and the guy told me that wait for 3 to 4 weeks i dont know why it gona take for them that much long time if they approvedme? and by the way HAPPY EID MUBARAK TO EVERYONE HERE, AND HAVE A NICE EID THIS YEAR,

while on AP can you call the embassy and ask them about ur case that ur AP is over or not? would they mind calling them every day or after two day and can delay ur case more?

why they do administrative processing at the embassy? they put me on the administrative process becuase i was not having joint sponsor documents at the time of interview and i send them on the 29 oct but i am still on administrative process, i dont know when that process will be completed? and how long it can take, all my other stuffs are completed but at the time of interview they ask me two new pictures and joint sponsor along with the supporting documents, so can some one tell me how long does it to process a joint sponsor forms and after how long they will call me and ask for my passport, or they would ask for something else again? i am sick of this stressful and long process, i send the jointsponsor w-2's, passport copy, pay slip, her tax returns forms and i-864 form and two pictures of myself, i hope they dont ask me something else that we need this,and i am praying that this administrative process get done soon, caz it sucks, really sucks, any body have been through the administrative? anyway to get out of this process sooner?

does the embassy need joint sponsor pictures?

my sponsor house size is 3 , me, my wife, and our son, and my wife income is less than poverty guide line, so the consular ask me to have a joint sponsor so i am confused would they change the amount of money in the povrety guide line or it would be the same,

I was a joint sponsor for my sister when she did her AOS. When I filed I-864 I had to put the size of my household (at that time I was married so me, my ex-husband and my sister that I sponsored were household of 3). Each application is separate and you have to count co-sponsor as part of the household so for each new member poverty line is increasing. How much money does your co-sponsor make, and how many family members depend on your co-sponsor?

ok let me explain it more, my sponser is one and she is sponsoring me but she have one dependent, and the poverty is 22,887 and the income of the real sponsor is 15000.00$ if we are going to have a joint sponsor would they change that amount and count the joint sponsor in it and increase the amount to 27 thousand and something, like for every person add 4000 and something dollars, so we are confuse about that, and i want to know wats the story about it,

How many people you need to sponsor? They will count your joint sponsor and amount will change.

I want to know that in the joint sponsor form would they count the sponsor and the money will change? or now its just help to the real sponsor to provide her income to help and meet the minimum income requirement, and if the joint sponsor have house would she consider them? or it will be just for me, like the income of real sponser is 15 thousand dollars and they require 22,887 and if the joint sponser is going to fill the new form of 1 864 and he/she have 8 thousand of income so they would count her in that form and the amount would change to 26 thousand as 4000 some dollars per person or no we will still be on 22,887? i hope some one know about those things , we are really having problem in finding a joint sponser,

well i have been to my interview last friday and my police certificate was made in march and i send it to the NVC but when i go for my interview theydidnt ask for a new police certificate although i bring it with my self , so i dont think they will ask from your husband either but he can take it with himself if he dont have a problem, and if he didnt made one yet then they will ask it after the interview he can send it to the embassy via american express,

someone said the police cert is only good for 6 months and one person said it was wait for only 3 months and I just want to make sure he doesn't need another one... anyone know???

hi every one, can some one tell me, that the embassy would accept scan AOS form? caz the mail take long time and sometime the mail come to our town after one month or longer than that, would they be able to accept the scann copy of AOS for joint sponsor? please let me know as soon as someone can tell me that, caz i did my interview yesterday and they asked for a joint sponsor caz i was under the poverty guideline, so i really want to know about this,

That is what I got with interview letter for my wife at Islamabad US Embassy:

i got the date of my interview but i read in the FAQs of U.S embassy in pakistan that talk about packet 3.5 but i am not sure wat does that mean, so i write to them too, my interview date is 9 Oct i should wait some days for the packet by mail or i should go for my medical exams, i will make a phone call to the embassy too i hope it help some, but onething i need to know too, my spouse take the marriage certificate and i have a copy of it, we are worried that if she send that orignal certificate by mail and it get lost wat we will do, and there everywhere they write that they need orignal marriage documents, so i dont know wat i should do about it, wat is a certified copy? the copy i am having it is already have a copy sealed from the foriegn office, so it should be accepted or i will have to show them an orignal certificate?

In the past, it is my understanding NVC sent an actual "packet through the mail" but now days the packet is simply an e-mail notification that states the progress of your case. with the bar code cover sheet from NVC. If you are approved for an interview, it would have to be thru a US embassy in Pakistan. Simply locate that embassy, google if you have to.."US embassy Pakistan" and get a number to call them, then you should be able to find the medical facility that embassy uses for it's medical examinations, and you may also be able to schedule an interview date, if one has not already been assigned to you. I am sure there will be someone with in VJ that has gone thru the Pakistan process to help you more...but Congrats on your getting an interview in the near future...Best luck for you
