    I think , they base it on the NOA1. im not sure though, coz in Igor's List, you were in the October group..

    Please correct me if im wrong.

    and again., u only waited 14 days for the approval is really awesome.!

    i dont know what they are basing

    all i know is that we sent docs sept and got approval within this month( both NOA1 and NOA2)

    Ive been a member of this forum since early 2006, with a different member name though..

    Been through k1/k2 3 years ago.. and marriage didnt work out.. BUt after a lil more than a year, Here i am again, going thru k1/k2 AGAIN!lol.. and i have to say that the service centers this time compared to before are way better...

    Register as applicant customer. You can put either your info or your fiancee's. I'd say fill in your info and your email so you can get email updates. You can also receive updates by cell phone. Just make sure to turn on alerts both for email and mobile phone.

    Actually i was shock Sir, just an hour ago i decide to go check online status i guess i visit the site only three or four times and i was shock of what ive read.... my fiancee didnt know yet about this approval....i hope we got the hardcopy today on his daytime or monday.....

    is this the first time happen 14 days approval from the date of our NOA1--- oct.6 HARDCOPY NOA1

    GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME

    We got our hard copy first notice today......

    Sept 23-- sent docs

    Sept 28--delivered to VSC

    Sept 29--- received VSC

    Oct 2---- Encashed cheque

    Oct 6--- HARD COPY NOA1

    Oct 20--NOA2 approved

    Oct __-----waiting hard copy

    You can register on USCIS website: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

    There is a 'sign-up for case updates option'. My first update was the date they sent my NOA1 - 09/18/2009.

    Then on the 22nd of october, it said last updated on 10/22/2009, so it meant was touched again. Everytime the 'last updated' date changes, it means that your file has been touched. You should create a portfolio on that website, where you add your petition number. And when you click on My Portfolio, you will see when it was last updated. How does it help? JUst to keep track of what is going on with your petition. Keeps you busy while waiting :) Remember that there was cases when the file hasnt been touched or updated... they just got their NOA2 and it was the only update since NOA1. It doesnt help to get faster approval... Good luck!! Hope my explanations were clear enough..

    Congratulations! I wish it could go as fast for all of us. Our file hasnt even been touched in a month, so im not too hopeful....

    Our's was only touched once, and I have seen some people who never have any touches...

    Now here is where people will tell me I am crazy. I feel bad.. you really have no idea.. yes, I'm excited, but I don't think it's fair. The first one's in should be the first one's out.

    I don't know why we got it so quickly.. but we've had two years of denials for other visas, and this last year has been rough for both of us, so maybe catching this little bit of luck is God's way of telling us not to lose hope :)

    I know I am still going to be a fanatic about checking the site, because now I am watching for all of you.. I really do feel some good things coming today.

    We are still waiting for the NOA 2. But to be honest we don't expect it till early December so lets stay positive everyone!! They still need to get through August filers before they get to us.

    Yea your right , just think positive and keep pouring our patient

    well im from VSC , few of ours got an approval already

    hope all septemberian weather CSC or VSC will gonna have all approval

    When we started this process the VSC was about 2 wks behind in processing time....now they are nearly a week ahead. The thing is as you brought up in an earlier post, There are so man filers at VSC from back in May, June, July...that haven't been processed. They are going to HAVE to process those application that have been left by the wasteside at some point and maybe then we'll see the CSC inch forward again.

    Received NOA2 today. Only 43 days!! Holy #######!!!!

    Wow. That's crazy. This should go without saying, but I hope I am so lucky. If your numbers work for me, I should be getting really happy around November 2nd. Good lord!

    Now there are 7 September filers approved from VSC. One of them was only 20 days!

    Hoping many of us can get good news like this soon!

    REALLY? THERE ARE ALREADY 7 PPLE APPROVED FROM SEPTEMBERIAN FILERS, FROM VERMONT SERVICE CENTER?

    We got ours approved today 10-16-09 It was a great day and made the boss at work write me a letter of employment. Can't wait to she her again. Getting closer. Good luck to the VSC September filers and hopefully VSC will keep up their pace.

    Ugh, this is killing me. I sent everything out on September 19th---from South Korea to Vermont, as my "home" is considered PA---and it arrived on the 22nd, and I still haven't heard anything back. I see people getting their NOAs in a few days or a week, and I'm hoping nothing got lost in the mail or sent to the wrong place. Then again, if these kind of delays from overseas are routine, it looks like our hopes for a summer, 2010 wedding will have to be delayed.

    Dont worry Solitary Thrush, it will be fine, and i know what you felt, just keep on monitor about the cheque , if they enchashed already, if they did meaning they received it, and somehow since your kinda far might took more few days for them to receive.

    Did you used FEDEX for sending your documents?

    Hi Everyone, just found this tread now. I was only posting in the general September 2009 tread.

    Man I am getting more and more impatient... I am #239 in Igor's list now. I hope some news come soon. I sent my stuff beginning of Sept and I noticed some August 30s getting their NOA2... I am hoping this means something is coming soon for me.... aaaaaaaaaaaaa the wait...... the insanity!!!!!!!!
