  1. Im not too worried about the assault due to it being when i was like 14/15 but As i said before The "breech of probation/fail to comply" was when i was older and the last time i checked was still on my record due to not being off a conditional discharge or something . Hope someone can direct me in the right direction.

    Thanks :)

  2. well I believe the last time i checked, a few years back I had the "fail to comply" on my record but not the assault due to it being when I was a teenager, now I thought that the "fail to comply was suppose to gone as well but like I said the last time I checked I still had the other charge in my records.

Just wondering what I can do, Or if this will cause a negative reaction when i start the cr-1

  3. another question from me. I am trying to have everything in check before i start this process and the more i learn, the more i question hehe.

When i was 15 i was charged with a Assault then within 2 years i was charged with breech due to not doing community hours. Now It's has been 5 years since that all happened but I am scared if this will effect my Cr-1? I am not even sure how to get my criminal records or what immigration will want on this matter? Anyone got any advice or experence?

  4. another question,

As i start this process, I am going to send this package in at the ending of the month but am Unsure which name to use. I have all my identification in my maiden name and am visiting the husband right now but I will be changing all my identification when i am back in Canada.

the problem is i will be sending the application before i have the identification changed to my married name.so what name do i put?

  5. I know that I have already asked this question per say but i was wonder if someone could go more in detail for me, I have been reading peoples timelines and have noticed that They pay a 400 dollar fee for IV Fee bill generated, Is that the visa fee everyone is talking about? also I saw that you pay for something if you get a pink slip? what fee is this? When do you pay for all these things? trying to figure out all this before i start.

  6. Hehe I know That it is considered a cr-2 but now im confused Is it not the same paperwork?

Yes I figured That The custody papers would be enough for now and I am in the works of Getting the right to move him to the states. -crosses fingers-

Thanks for all the info, :)

  7. Paperwork for son's application Cr-1

I have ful custody and currently in court for the ability to move him to the states should be done in the next few months,

Now I have paperwork stating I have full custody etc but do i need to send this with the i-130 or can i wait to send this in till i have the other paperwork court stuff as well?

  8. Im from ontario, canada.

His father has visitation and that is it, which he hasn't/doesn't used.

As I have said I have all the paperwork I can have for right now, I have full custody and am currently going to court to move my son.

I don't want to just sit around and wait to start the process, I'd rather or i'd like to be able to start it and then submit the "court order to move" once i get it.

  11. Hi,

My husband is about to start two Cr-1's One for my son and One for myself.

I realize this is going to take some time to be processed and could be one year.

Is there anyway to still visit? I realize that this is a process and im sure everyone goes through being apart but

I would love to be able to visit my husband lol

I live in canada and He lives in washington, he is a tech and can only take off little time (as over the past year he has took off all his vacation time to come for holidays with me) I hate to think that we will only get to see each other twice in the next year.

please let me know if there is anything i can do? or if There is a way to still visit the states during the process?
