  1. first of all, i want to say happy new year to everyone here;

my question is: this is just for all CR1 visa holder:

1.Did you have a second shot when you arrive here in the USA? how much does it cost? What are the process of it?

2.Will it affect if i will not or never have a second shot when i apply for removing condition?

I hope those people who have gone through removing their conditions this could give their thoughtful and clear ideas.

Thank you. Any input will be much appreciated!

  2. Hello fellow visajourney people! Been a while since I posted my last topic. I have been busy recently working and working and working! lol I must say I am lucky to have a job in this economy. It is not the best paying job but hey! job is a job! Don't give up if you haven't found one yet.

    Belated Merry Christmas to everyone!

Hi, can i ask how did you apply for your job? what job did you get?how do you apply here? I've been looking for job now..thanks

    Happy New Year!

  3. It seems she is just looking for possible father of her child now,,, don't you think what are the possible things that will happen to you when you come here and your wife is giving birth?,,,don't get me wrong but in my own opinion she is looking for someone who can turn too co'z of her situation now...Don't you think of becoming a babysitter when you arrive? Of course if you really love her you wont mind everything right? but this might be possible when you get here with her...just a reminder friend..think first before you do your move.....

  4. Just arrived in MI last December 9...sobrang lamig din dito, it was -14C last night and the snow is 6-8 inches deep na. My fiance said umpisa pa lang to, so more snow to come bbbrrrrr...first thing I did? Shopping! hehehe I needed sweaters, jackets, coats, and boots to keep me warm of course.

Di pa naman ako naho homesick, actually I have been here na for 5 months when I came to visit my fiance last May, we just had to travel back to Manila in October for my fiancee visa, so medyo adjusted na rin ako ng konti...I have been cooking filipino food also because my fiance loves pinoy food. I love the quality of their meat here, so fresh and less fat. We get to buy freshly picked fruits and vegetables also. Needless to say we are on the countryside so it's mostly farmland...mas madami pang horses and cows dito kesa tao hehehe...

Oh and I had my fishing license na when I first came here last May. Did a lot of boat ride and fishing in the lake with my fiance. I caught a couple of bass but my fiance threw them back in the water because they're too small...dami nilang rules about fishing :) Been to casino several times also whenever we get the chance, and won a few dollars :)

I don't see a lot of filipinos here so I really do not have filipino friends except those I chat with online who are all far from where I am.

Got my new phone yesterday and we're also picking up our marriage license today, we're getting married on December 30 :) I applied for ssn na rin. Funny when we were at the social security office and the staff asked how long will I be here for, my fiance said "forever!", I looked at him and things started to sink in...that this is really going to be forever, of course we have plans of traveling back and forth to the Philippines, but I will really be spending most of my lifetime here and that means embracing things different from what I have been used to....not that I am complaining though.

As someone said, life is all good and God is good all the time :)

    Congrats on your baby :)

  7. hi everyone,

am still waiting for my gc till now i thought cr1 is quicker to get the green card, its been 4 months since i got here in US and have no choice is to wait.. is there any possible way to make it quicker?

i look forward to your reply guys....appreciate it thanx.....!

Hi, i think its time for you to make a query about it, i just arrived here last Nov. 23, 2009 then yesterday i just received my hot "Green Card" just 17 days since i arrive, so it is better for you to call or make a query about your case....yuo should get them by now if there is no possible problem in your case...Good Luck.

  8. Hello! everyone, :star:

I'm concern about my Police Clearance.(one of the requirements for K1 visa). I get it from other country last December 5, 2008. :help: Is anybody know if it still okay to bring at the time of Interview? since the date is dec. 5? and my Interview date is December 16. I really have to know, for me to prepare this. Hope to hear from you guys! Thanks!

    hi mags,

i think you should need to get an NBI clearance coz thats what they are looking for in the interview if im not mistaken. Good luck

  9. Well, if you already pay the IV bill you don't have to pay at the embassy during the interview just the visa delivery fee, then at St. Lukes you need to bring with you your Appointment letter from NVC then payment $213.35 then 4 pieces 2x2 id picture. yuo just have to walk in there and have your medical exam, just be sure you don't have your period during medical they wont entertain you there. then they will guide you when you are inside the clinic.

  10. hello guys,

i just got my visa today

i was very happy at first

but when i check my visa summary, i found out that my moms name is not spelled right

they mispelled the name of my mother

the question is... is this a big deal?

do i need to have it fixed before i left for the US?

to all who experienced this prob, please share your insights.

    any ideas are much appreaciated.

    thanks....

  11. Hi Peterjoy,

Hows your interview? Im sure you passed! :-)

Please share your interview experience, but the way. Did you went on an interview room or just the window type?

    Thanks a lot.

    hi mush,

YES! im done with my interview in lastr nov. 4, it was a very nervous day for so far, i went to the embassy at 4am then get out there at 9.30am too, but i was smiling when i get out of the embassy then, it was just easy coz the questions are all about me and my husband, i brought all the docs that are possible to be ask by the embassy, so everything went good and smooth, and now im just waiting for my visa.

good luck to you, you will be fine in your interview too, we were just being screened at the windows then intevirewed by the consul in a room.thats all
