I studied abroad in the Fall of 2007 and met Ayumi at Kansai Gaidai University. 14 months after I returned to the US, Ayumi came to the US and visited me. Then, during the summer of 09, I returned to Japan and stayed with her. I proposed to her a week before I returned home :)
