marcamejo, my wife arrived here in early feb. right after I started to complain to my congress person and senator. Dont know if that was coincidental or not. Not sure of your situation but you just have to keep at it regardless of how frustrated you might get.

Hi Teya,Looks like we are both finally through this. My wife and I are doing fine. She has some adjustments to deal with just because she basically has left there life behind to come here. She misses her family and her friends but does not regret coming.Life is full of choices isn't it. Best always to you and your husband. Now I need to get her a SSN.haha So she can bring home the bacon.

Happy NEW YEAR Loto! She never had second interview only had to provide NSO Marriage Cert required in PI. She provided it 2 days after 1st interview. Took Embassy 1 mth to approve it. I got fed up & contacted my Congressman and Senators office here in TN. Had her VISA a week after I made contact. Maybe a coincidence. Glad to see your family is with you. My wife will be here Feb 2. Hi aurora07. Don't know what you provided or how complete it was. Search VJ Manila Interview for more info. I would take everything that you have copies of. Why wouldn't you? They ask my wife for Marriage Certificate from NSO, Current passport, Birth Certificate NSO. They also looked at Pictures and correspondence. My wife didnt have NSO Marriage Cert and it cost us 2 more months. Good...

Well I purchase ticket for Dec 1 which was missed . Then when she got her Visa it was Dec 15 When she tried to get a change on the ticket they told her March was the soonest. So I called American and they found one for Feb 1 but she will have a 16 hr layover in Tokyo .. Remember its the holidays and I guess lots of folk come and go to PI.

Yeah past time ... She still needs to get her package from the Courior I dont know that she has it yet & Now my wife tells me all the flights are full with no empty seats so I will probably see her in Jan s0me time

Glad it all worked out for you and hopefully all will be in the US soon. I am still waiting to hear from the Embassy. My wife got the original NSO Marriage Certificate to the Embassy on Nov 5th. I can't believe they are taking so long to issue the VISA. It is making me wonder if there is something more they are needing.Enjoy Christmas in the US. Its a little more commercial here than in PI.

Thanks Loto. Manila is 13 hours ahead of my time and 12 ahead of yours. So she will be waking up any time now to get ready. In 2 hours she will be at the embassy. She hasn't contacted me so I know she is trying to focus and make sure she gets through this without issue. I will be staying around the house waiting for her call. Of course I dont know when that will come. at least 4 hrs away.

Yes, I like the holidays in PI. Its not as commercial as in the US with regards to shopping. However the carolers started to get on my nerves because every time they saw me come home they started to show up at the gate singing and of course looking for Some $$ ... Yeap, My wife is feeling the pressure for getting things done now. She is still working and doesn't want to quit until she has her VISA in hand. I also think she feels obligated because she has worked there for 20 yrs. Her first job.. Now she needs to get her physical and prepare for 2 presentation at her work. So she is feeling it.haha...
