I was called my boyfriends Wife from almost day one in Ghana. Its a cultural thing, that is for sure. If you have other letters without wife use those- or many people have mentioned screened prints of their inbox (which shouldn't show wife/husband?) and send a few e-mails along with the inbox that do not mention husband or wife if you are worried about it. I am starting to collect my evidence for the interview from the past few months and for the future months. I am still on my parent's cell phone bill. Should I include a letter from the owner, my mom, to the embassy stating that I am the user of xxx-xxx-xxxx phone number? (It shows over 500 texts to him a month so I would like to include this evidence especially)

On the phone bill it only shows the last 10 digits of my fiance's phone number- should I also include a letter stating that those are the last 10 digits and if you add the country code you would have his whole number? or is that something the embassy would be use to seeing?

The information is there- and also for carry on.

Also the I-134 has an expiration date that is coming up. Depending on when your interview is you want to make sure you have the up to date form.

A green card holder can not apply for K-1 VISAs.

So it looks like I just send them even though my fiance replies to them. My phone company can not provide any proof on incoming text. We have skype records, facebook, yahoo chat, snail mail and a visit to Ghana with my family and I for the interview.

Proof of relationship is not required for the petition. Only proof that you have met in person at least one time in the last two years. That said, some people like to send it anyway. What you have would be fine, doesn't sound like you can do anything about it anyway. From now until your interview, try to have most of your communication in some documentable form.

I know its not required for the petition. I am including a little but mostly documents from meeting (which was a whole semester together, so we have a lot!). I think I might not send it and just send the pieces of concrete proof- which I have a decent amount so far- and we still have months to go.

Does your fiance not have any phone bills? If not, i would still send them, we did, after all they are extra evidence that you contact each other.

In Ghana they are all pay as you go. So unfortunately no. All the record are coming from me- There is not a lot of record keeping there. The number is formatted weird- so I dont know if more questions will come up because it doesn't look like his number. I will think about it.

We met while I was studying abroad, we had 4 wonderful months together but now we are an online couple using Skype, Yahoo, Facebook to communicate. Can't wait for that to be over!

I have been following my petition ranking on Igor's list for a while now and today when I tried to get onto the list I was prompted for a User Name and Password. Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder what is going on.....

Why not- You have met the requirement but the second visit will only give you more photos, passport stamps, plane tickets, and proof of an on-going relationship when you get to the interview.

Really whats 4 weeks when you look at the whole process- I don't know your whole case but wouldn't it be better then getting RFEs.

-Did your USA fiance travel with the beneficiary when entering the country on their (any) visa?

-Did the petitioner go through the immigration line for non-US people with you? or did they go through the US line and wait for you? What was the immigrations officers response to going through the non-US line?

-Personally did you want them to travel with you or meet you at the POE?

Does anyone know the yes or no answer if a Fiance from Ghana needs a transit VISA for the UK? Is there anything you need to do for a Transit without VISA before you arrive at the airport?

I am still new on the site and am having no luck finding information on Ghana and getting packet 3 and 4.

Once you receive the NOA2 (I know you send a copy to your fiance and the entire I-129 packet) and the information is sent to the embassy from NVC- does the fiance receive notification to go pick it up or do you have to call to see if it is at the embassy (I know most of the paperwork can be downloaded online so you can work on it before hand.)

Also do you receive the information about medical exams at this point? (I have read the thread about the exams in Ghana but they need paperwork to bring with them correct?)

Also do you have to use the online NIV program to make an appointment or do they give you one with the K-1 application?

Is packet 4 given once the VISA is issued?

After you recieve your packet 3 did your fiance have to make an appoinment through NIV or does the embassy give you the time and date? Also for the medical where in Ghana can you get one?
