  1. Only three approved? I lost my engagement ring :crying::crying:

how did you lose your engagement ring, lost it in a bet that you would get your noa2 today?

I took it off to do the dishes that is what i remember. I don't know what i did next :crying::crying:

*hug*!!!! I'm so sorry, I hope you find it.

Far as them jumping all over, you have to realize, it's not as if we're all in one big pile in perfect dated order... We're all thrown into mildly organized boxes on a shelf, boxes that are then taken out by individuals and processed on their time. Although it isn't very much fun, it's somewhat understandable that Mister A might be working on Box 1 (containing files 1-80  ), while Mister B pulls Box 2 (containing files 80-whatever) and starts working on that himself.

And then, of course, when File 25 can't be found in Box 1, 2, 3, whathaveyou... That's when it gets really fun.

How about when MR B takes a month or 2 off for maternity leave and the box is left sitting till she gets back...

Like I said, we got a management problem and it needs overhauled quick. Fire 3/4 of them and bring in Marines

Who has been feeding you this kind of information? There is no way a box of March is still on the shelf and all of a sudden WOW we are into May. No way will I beleive that they could pass up so many petitions and move 2 months ahead. We got a big problem, and it is called management!!!!

Look in the pee trap under the sink? Hope you find it before long. I might have to buy a new ring before I get noa2, the other one going to be very old and out dated by that time, and it might not fit, she will no douth gain weight worrying about our noa2.

  4. Humm seems like a very slow day today (other than one May filer who got a NOA2)

Well, I guess this is how the March crowd feels...hahaha. 70 something left in April (plus all those left in March and let's not even mention those before them) and they have started May...that's about what it was with March right?

Yeah looks that way. It will be 5 months for me in a couple of weeks and after that I am going to start smoking..and drinking.

Hahahahaha...me TOO! And I'm talking hard liquor, none of that sissy stuff...haha. I'm laughing so I won't cry my eyeballs out! :crying:

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with my Raspberry Smirnoff Twisted Ice coolers... They may be sissy, but they taste sooo goooooood...

Mmmmm thats my favorite. I wish I could have our NOA2 as soon as possible so I can taste it again. I guess red wine will do for me right now since we're just starting our 4th month. In 2 weeks I might be considering going back to smoking and hard liquor too

So are we (march and april filers) forgotten already? I know its too early but I'm starting to feel really miserable

Don't worry *hug*, they haven't forgotten...they just have a fire under their you know whats right now...haha. I think they will be all over the place, just like someone else said  We just have to pray for a little luck

And don't worry, I feel a little miserable sometimes too...it's hard being away from the one you love! It just proves our love and commitment to that person, and that's beautiful :star:

I dont know what would i do without my VJ family (L)

now we know how march feels, we are all being jumped over and today i see 2 May noa2, just can't understand how they can go that far ahead of other people. This is stupid, at lease someone in April got a touch today, I would welcom a REF at this point.

  5. Another week has passed by and nothing. Did they forget to count April 1-15 and early March filers? I am going to wait until Thursday and will call them.

Have a good Sunday guys.

Please do call them and let them know I am right behind you with a 4-3 filing without a touch, how can this be happening to all of the early April filers. It is like ours is in a box that says "do not touch" Please write and tell me what they say.

    Tom

Believe me, as a late March filer I felt the same way when VSC started jumping hard on the mid and late April cases; the 3/26 NOA1s all got NOA2s or RFEs by mid-August, while none of us 3/27s had even a touch until a bunch of us got approved on 8/27.

Anyway, the currently posted processing time is 5 months. As soon as you're 1 day past that, you're outside of current processing times. At that point, it's time to call USCIS and initiate a service referral. Make sure you take down the agent's name or ID number, as well as the service referral request number—you'll need it for the next step if you don't hear back from them, but a couple March filers who had service referrals got responses within a few days.

Good luck and hope yours comes soon!

Do you know that number that I will call? because here soon it will be 5 months, and thanks for the help.

  7. OH man guys they just sent me this!!

    This sucks!!!

I wonder what they want? And I wonder if this is going to put me in the back of the line? This really sucks!! I was on such a high and now I feel so bad!!

Im really upset,Just called my lawyer and he was no help!!

Not to worry, I read from a guy that worked approving K-1 etc, that when they send out a REF or a request for more information etc. that file goes on a shelve in his cube and when that information is sent back, they work on that file and finish it with approval or send out another REF, if they didn't do it this way, the guy said they would have files everywhere. So as soon as you get the information in to them they will finish you case. Good luck

  8. I think what's going on is that there are a number of "lurkers" here who just read posts and don't get involved and don't update their timelines. Some people just quietly update their timelines without letting anyone else know.

I just saw that a May filer got approved (May 11 NOA1 date), and the April filers on VJ have not reached the 50% point yet. If I wasn't keeping track of the Berkeley stats, I wouldn't have known. Not sure what's going, but they may be going into May now.

    TiNa

I'm not so sure about that May NOA1. If you look, they mailed the I-129F on April 20. I'm betting they entered their NOA1 date as the day it showed up in the mail, rather than the date printed on the I-797. It's a common mistake.

Can someone tell me how to find the Berkeley Stats?

  9. First of all, I apologize for venting my frustrations here last night. I regretted it almost immediately, despite the persistent ill humour USCIS has induced in me of late. Mea maxima culpa!

Second, I don't blame anyone other than USCIS for what I'm going through. And I don't begrudge anyone here their happiness or their chance to be with their loved ones. But tell you what: go stand in a long line somewhere, and see if you don't get frustrated if they start helping people who are much further behind you in that line while making you continue to wait. It's frustration that I've expressed in the March thread, not anger or resentment toward any of the people who have gotten their NOA2s.

God forbid you should have to share the experience of seeing approval after approval come down the line with NOA1s later then yours. And I do really mean that: God forbid it—I don't wish this on anyone.

Sincerest congratulations to all who have been approved. May the rest of yours (and mine) come quickly too!

I know how they feel, I am looking at the approvals 10 times each day and why is my april 03 filing passed by, I need my approval very soon because we are running out of time for her 20 year old son to be able to come with herbefore he turns 21, and if we delay to long the boy will not be able to come for 8 to 10 years under a I-130, so you can see what we are up against, All I got is hope our will cimew soon, I have pray so much, he has to be tired of hearing the same prayer so much. But I an so happy for all of the ones that has there approvals.

Come on, VSC. Keep our spirits up with an April approval or two (or five, or ten, or all?).

Where do I get my pom-poms?

Just look around they must be somewhere there

    here we go!

:rofl::rofl: OMG I just saw everyones responses, for some reason I didn't get the emails that something has been posted...but anyway...that's hilarious!

Wow, I just read that most of the filers that aren't approved are from China, why is that? My fiance is from china and I seem to be passed over too, yes it is a little early to say that but that is how you feel when many others after you have been approved and I haven't even had a touch

  11. Can anyone give me some solid information on how to proceed. I filed my I129F 4-3-09 which is the date that they log my petition in at Vermont. I am still waiting for NOA2. My fiance is a member of the CCP because of her job and as I understand it, she will be given a Blue slip at the interview because they will need to do a futher background check, which can take up to 4 months. If we get our NOA2 soon, maybe our interview will be sometime in Dec, then with the extra time for the background check, just maybe we will have our pink slip by 3-2010. The boy's birthday is 4-13 and he will turn 21,

What can I do to make sure we get everything approved by 3-2010? If we do get my fiance and her boy in the usa before his birthday and we marry before his birthday and we file for change of status for her and the boy before his 21 birthday will he get his green card and not by denied because of his age of 21?

  12. kathy, thanks for the pick me up, but i just found out that my fiance in China is a member of the CCP because of her job, so when we get to #3 and 4 we are looking at a 1-4 month delay for more background check, which will be given a blue slip at the interview. I am OK with that but her boy will be 21 in April and we might run out of time, this really hurts because it could take years for the boy to get a visa then, I am so sad, but i sure hope we all get our noa2 very soon

    Hey Tom!!!

(Just because I don't know much about this part) If you have applied for him already, and if things do happen to take a while (God forbid), won't they go by his age at the time of the original application? What I asked may not make any sense. I don't know anything about the requirements for bringing children here. Common sense would say it they should go by his age at the time of the original application... but we are dealing with a system where a lot of things don't make sense.

And again, don't give up hope. My mother and I were talking today about how we believe everything happens for a reason. So I said even if it takes two years to get Manuel here (Again, God forbid), it's okay. As long as he gets here. (Although the waiting is very hard. Because all of us want to be with the people we love and the system is VERY frustrating sometimes. )

    Have a Blessed Day!!!

    Keep in touch!

    Kathy

Kathy, hi again, I thought the same as you do, but I have read about how so many people have there children here and just before they turn 21 file for there green card and have it sit for the child to be out of the age limit, and then denied them because of there age. There are many cases in court over this same thing, and most if not all have won their case, but it takes time and money and the papers have to be filed for a change of status which can't be filed if she isn't here to get married and we file for her change of status also. I have been doing alot of research and all of it is troubleing.

I don't care so much about the extra time for them to do a greater background check on her, i just know that if we delay much, the boy will be 21 and then his mother will have to file a I-130 for her unmarried son and then it will take about 8 to 10 years for his visa. This just isn't right, but our goverment has no care or concern for family.

I can at anytime jump on a plane and go see my sweetheart, but I feel so sorry for her and the boy. Yes she will come to the USA without him but it just isn't right.

    Tom

  13. finally i found this thread...

    April filers here too....

    Still waiting for NOA2

    Welcome to the club!

sam and ben, what part od Florida are you going to? I live in Pensacola. 10 minutes from Orange beach.

Ben's from Casselberry, which is about 40min outside of Orlando.

Nice part of Florida, Orlando. I moved to Pensacola 2and1/2 years ago because a very good friend of mine lived here and he passed away while I was in China in April. When I get my sweetheart here, we will decide if we will stay here or move to a bigger city. No news on any noa2? whats up with that.

  14. Kathy, when you got your RFE did it show that you have been touch, you and i are the sme filing date and i haven't heard or even felt a touch, i hope the same person has my file as you, because maybe i will be next.

    Hey Tom,

Actually, we got our first touch the day before we found out an RFE was sent. The next day was when the RFE showed up on the USCIS website.

But, don't loose hope  I have read were several people have never seen a touch on the website, but received their NOA2. It won't be much longer!

    Have a Blessed Day!

    Kathy

HEy Im from virginia and Im used to being touched by every one hahahaha But right now I would pay big money for some one from USCIS to touch me!! I have not been touched in a long time :P, Please touch me please!!! I beg of you!!!

kathy, thanks for the pick me up, but i just found out that my fiance in China is a member of the CCP because of her job, so when we get to #3 and 4 we are looking at a 1-4 month delay for more background check, which will be given a blue slip at the interview. 15. I got the RFE today. Manuel forgot to sign 1 copy of his form. I swear I checked everything 100 times over. But, obviously not good enough! :bonk:

Now the task of trying to get it to him...

We're right back to where the previous problem of 'living in a remote area' is going to put us in a time crunch. (As far as mail delivery to Manuel)

We can use all of the prayers that we can get so that we will get this back to them in time. :innocent:

Thanks ahead for the support... I know the prayers are coming.....

    Kathy

Kathy, when you got your RFE did it show that you have been touch, you and i are the sme filing date and i haven't heard or even felt a touch, i hope the same person has my file as you, because maybe i will be next.

  16. Is it that people that filing for the love ones from China are getting delayed much more then all of the rest? My file has never been touched...

I don't think China has anything to do with it. I was one of the first April CSC NOA1ers to get NOA2, ahead of many others with earlier dates and from other countries.

BTW, my file was touched once then and it was the NOA2... in and out of NVC by 8/6 and ever since at the consulate= 23 Aug 09 8:35 PM - Clearance delay - Guangzhou,China, People's Republic

Hi there... I am an April Filer as well my NOA1 is April 3rd 2009 and I am still waiting as well for my NOA2. It is very depressing seeing other approved after my date. Silverfox5859, I understand how your feeling. I believe you and I are in the same batch as other April 3rd filers were approved or either touched. As depressing as I feel, I have been following the March thread and I only wish that others who are before us get approved as well. I just wish that there was consistency and organizations when it comes to approvals. It's so frustrating.

Liz25, Hi I think our file is at the same persons desk, but I am not sure everyone reports there noa2 so that could be why some of the older dates are still out there, but I am sure there are many before us that have not gotten there noa2 yet. It just makes me mad to see so many after our date get noa2 before I even get a touch. Would someone tell me what a touch feels like. Every time I check the status of my case it states the same as them receiving my file and dated 4-3-09, now when I log into a site and enter may name it did have a date of 4-8-09 in BLUE. What was this date for? I filed a change of address in June on line and they sent me a letter that they recieved the change of address, but not a touch to my file to change the address, Why?

I am lost with all of this, I am just a simple man in love and don't know how to use this computer that well, as I am learning alot.

  17. I have been following April filers and I have seen 26 April filers get there approvals from Vermont and only one of them is before my NOA1 date, which mine is 4-3-09. Is it that people that filing for the love ones from China are getting delayed much more then all of the rest? My file has never been touched. Why is it that so many after my NOA1 is getting approved and not me?

  18. Hey guys!! I just got the e-mail from CRIS!!! I can't believe it !!! The wait if finally over!!! We got the approval no RFE! Thank God!!!! I am going out of my mind right now!!!!:dance::dance:

    Congratulations mate!!!

Absolutely! Congratulations, I am SO happy for you!!

This is good news, congratulations to all of you with NOA2, I still have not got touch yet and my date is 4-3-09. I don't know what a touch even feels like. I hope we get more approvals this week, maybe it will be our week.

  19. Fingers crossed, toes crossed, legs crossed...I've done it all..lol. Prayers are my saving grace :D

Do you think there are anymore for today? I wonder...

I hope there are more. I'm not happy with only two. I want moooorreeee ....please and thank you, VSC

i think they pass over all of the early April filers, I hope I am wrong, but it is good news that some Aprils are getting approvals. Never can figure out how they can go to the middle of a month and leave out so many other. But I am so happy for all that got there noa2, good luck to all others.

  20. Me too. I very rarely check the USCIS website because is almost a futile action. It is rarely updated so what the heck...I'll stick to Igor's list and of course the wonderful world of VJ. hehehe

    PEACE...........

I agree, I don't give that touch much credit, because in may I filled out a form stating I have moved and I recieved a letter stating the request for a change of address and it was to be put into my file. As of this day, I have seen no touches even to put the new address into it. With all of these stories out there, I seem to worry like all the rest. Let keep praying for the best for all of us April filers.

  21. Thanks for all the good replys, I have a couple of people from china that has married and has gone threw all of this, I now have someone that can talk to my fiance in chinese and what a different that will be. Thanks to all

???? You found some private folks to help you? I tried that at first but I was too wary of their limited experience but that's just me. I don't trust messageboarders completely in something so important.

    Good luck!

No, the people are from this site and are still active at VJ. They have married and now are offering help to me and my fiance in China. I just down loaded the DS-230 part one form I am going to fill it out completly and send it to my finace so she can sign it and have it when she gets her #3 packet. I am trying to find out if there any other forms that she will need to file out in #3 packet.

  22. Good morning everyone! :D

Someone is going to get some good news today!!

Kathy, mine too...it puts thing in perspective for me...reminds me of what it's all about.. :)

    Have a great day!

There was 3 April filers that was approved yesterday, lets hope they give each and every one of us our noa2 this week or next, and hope none of us gets passed over. Good luck to all
