My mom filed for my brother and sisters and now their case are at NVC, already paid requried fee. Now I have following situation:

My question is about AOS, My mom doesnt work so I will be submitting AOS along with my mom to NVC for my Brother and sister, only thing not sure about that I lost my job in last December so I just found a new job..took me 5 months to find a new job and its a contract job, you guy see any issue with having a contract job and also no past 5 months pay stub available due to I lost my job?

Why asking for AOS bill and choice agent?You should received your appointment letter if you PD is current.

I am not understanding with your answer at all, why appointment letter? is not that first NVC will ask for AOS and doc need to be submitted then will be appointment letter for interview.....am I missing something?

My Mom is permanent Resident and she filed I-130 for my sister and she has a 12 years old that was also listed on I-130 form.(Just to be clear my sister was divorced prior to filling I-130 and proof was provided when I-130 was filed and now I-130 approved and with NVC for process, my sister is still single).

​Question : with my sister approved I-130 now at NVC, her daughter will be able to get visa also under same petition since she was listed on filed I-130 when was sent to USCIS?

Just wanted to confirm, if I can totalled amount filing fee $505 + $85 biometric fee for a total of $590 on one check or should I send 2 separate checks?

I am on same boat, I try to pay for my wife, but when I enter Registration number (which is only 8 digit on visa print) giving me error. I am not sure what to do also..

At first glance it looks like you are entering 8 numerical digits when the valid pattern contains 9 numerical digits.

Anyone else? Do numbers vary like this?

Correct, because my wife sent me pic of the visa and it shows onlt 8 digits. why her visa have 8 only..have no idea...

what will be my next step..if there is only 8 numbers..

I don't know the answer, IT_1, but I work in computers and this is what helps us answer a problem with software:

- What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different browser?

- How are you entering the data? Have you tried it any other way? Does it make a difference if you use upper case (A) or lower case (a) letters? Are you entering other information correctly?

- Where are you entering the data?

- What are the exact words of the error message?

Thank you for your input:

1: I am using internet explorer, and I have not tried diffirent browser. I dont think I am having issue with browser, but when i enter registraction number, I am geeting error. I also add A in from of the number still no success.

2: I have enter the Data correctly and I tried with (EXP: A12345678 and also 12345678).

3: I went to uscis site and register with ELSI to pay immgrant fee.

I am getting following message: A-Number does not contain a valid pattern (i.e. (e.g. A123456789)).

My wife got her visa and I am trying to pay her Immgrant fee, but have issue.

I meant no they didnt attach anything to my paents passports, my parents went back after fingerprints and the letter was sent there since I asked them to sent there to loocal embassy, and they just received there. I think they just ask them to bring Green card and passport to ensure.

No they will not attach to passport.

Your father has to wait for the re-entry permit. It will be attached on his passport so he cannot leave without it.

He can leave for sure.

It depend on the form when you fill and file them. If you choose to send permit aborad ISL/LHE they can get over there. If you choose here US address you can still receive and take them if you or someone going or send them over there.

I have done for my parents, I asked to send permit to abroad and my parents left after fingerprents. They where there and they received call from local embassy and they said they can come to pick permits.

I would recommend doing so. If anything gets separated from another page it would be the fastest way for them to be put back where they belong. I put our case numbers on everything.
