  • Our Story
i remember them days....its been 8 months since he left, i can still remember how busy i was preparing for his visit. That i had to leave my work to paint the haus make sure it is presentable enough when i bring him here to meet my family...And then came the day. It was saturday night that i had to still finish the work i was asked to do for Church cuz the next day is our anniversary, so i was kind of all-mixed-up that time rushing the haus cleaning, decorations and packing...so that night i brought my luggage with me and planning to leave from Church after decorating, only to find out they had stop over at Narita...it was good and gave me time to get some sleep...i was so exhausted at the same time excited, that i could hardly sleep thinkin about what our meeting would be like...Morning i woke up early, hopped in to the bathroom with my daughter, got dressed and headed to the airport...We were there 1 hour early...my heart pounding with so much anticipation that everytime the flight number blinks on the screen, my heart skips a beat like it wanted to come out of my chest...so there i sat, my neck already stiff from waiting...then his flight number flashed...it took me about half an hour still waiting for him to come out of that platform which he actually didnt cuz he got lost in the airport...so i was still sitting there wondering where he could be, whether its a no-show thing or a back-out...im glad my daughter saw him...(whew!)...he walked pass by me (he said he'd recognize me even if im in costume)..so i followed him and asked, "ahemmm are you lookin for me(hehe)"...i saw in him a sight of relief from seeing me and knowing finally he's not lost...so he kissed me on my cheek and i we took a cab headed to the apartment cuz we have to catch the afternoon anniversary service in Church...we checked in and dropped there his luggage..and gave him time to change clean-up and he showed us some pics on his laptop from Narita's stop over...then we left...He enjoyed the jeepney and tricycle ride...had to make him try, its his first time in Philippines (its a must hehhe)...we were kind of late...but im glad we made it..i was happy to bring him there to meet some church friends and my ministers family and he got to watch aina's presentation with the other kids (although aina wasnt feeling very well that time)...from church we went to our house so he could meet my mom and other siblings...they were all excited speechless and their nose bled (haha)...we had hard time hailing a cab that night and the last minute we found one...i know how tired he was so i asked him to lean on my shoulder so he can get some rest...then he slept...(that was just the first day)...the following days we spent was awesomeriffic...specially the day he asked permission to marry me...if u can just see how nervous he was hahah i was laughin at him...(and now its my turn with his dad)...then comes the day he had to leave....that was a heartbreaking experience for both me and my daughter...we cired a lot that even to this day he still couldnt watch this one video we took at the apartment...

Beginning June 15, he started checkin the status of our case online more often, usually 6 or five pm his tym to see if they have new post/updates...then comes thursday...my thursday night i woke up 10pm from an overnight chat with him...got up to get dinner cuz im starving...and mixed chocolate with ginger brew...i think that one's a bad idea cuz it had my stomach upset that night...i was trying to go back to sleep but couldnt cuz my stomach is achin...i still tried, had few mins nap but i still feel the pain, so i got up thinkin that if i sit it might go away..and it did...i forgot to shut my lp down, and saw wally sent me a message, so i went to check and then we chatted for about an hour...while we chat i didnt know he was checkin the case again...and surprisingly he said "we're approved, we're approved!" with tears in his eyes and his hands shaking. I though he was just kidding me so i said "is that a joke?", he said "no", then my hands were cold and so is my feet, i asked him if he typed it correctly blah blah blah...and had him get the original receipt to check it again...and its true...we're approved!...that night while my stomach aches, i was praying to God to take away the pain, i have prayed for the heartaches i have gone thru over this past two years, that i have been struggling with and i hope He gives me back that serenity of serving Him, i have prayed for my church, my family, my friends, my neighbors, and i have prayed for my daughter and this petition...I was so thankful, that i couldnt even remember the rest of the receipt number to check it myself...God is just so good to those who are faithful to Him, We both have prayed a lot for this and hopes that the approval would be granted soon, but thats too soon though....We we're overjoyed...he texted his relatives co-workers, his bestfriends, posted "we're approved" on all of his accounts on the web....i heard his CP beeped and beeped...endless texts for him that day...My heart couldnt contain how much i am thankful for a granted wish, an answered prayer..that finally...we'd be together as a family
