    Hello everyone! Hope all is well with you guys!

    It's been 2 days since my frustration started to attacked me. It feels like I've reached the top of my patience with these papers! I don't know what to do now! Been 2 nights now of crying and praying for the approval of our visa! :crying::crying: I just hope and pray that NOA2 will arrive soon for all of us! I know we want to be with them soon. :unsure::help:

    just hang in there it will come very soon we have to wait we dont have any other option i know it will be hard for u but try to keep ur self busy Good luck :thumbs:

    Is the overall processing time longer for Pakistan?

    Hello Everyone,

    I applied with the I-130 for my wife in May 2009. She is from Pakistan. While researching on the site, I have observed that processing times seem to be significantly longer for Pakistan versus other countries. Now, I don't know if this is actually the case, maybe it seems like to me.

    Does anyone have any knowledge or experience on this thought?

    the processing time at uscis ,nvc till the interview is the same as others but one good present we get after interview is Ap.that makes process longer then others and as u said u have filed for ur wife the one good thing for u is that very rarely and woman goes through Ap .Good luck :thumbs:

    :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Allhumdullilah Allah is great i have goood news guys yes i cant believe id b saying this or even typing but hey u guys were right since i guess they r working on giving out visas Ok i called DOS today again since friday i was devastated and full of tears since it was also our wedding anniversary yes 4th wedding anniversary and all of em i spent them alone wasnt easy so i cried my heart out on friday so monday i was super afraid since whenever i calld and i hear same answer i just get more upset so anyways today i called and this lady answered they put u in hold whenever u call but this lady she answerd fone very polite lady and then she put me on hold this is very first time i was put on hold twice so i was hoping for good news then after ten minutes she is like im not suppose to tell u but its been issued , i was like WHAT can u say that again has visa been issued she said yes just today its been sent but i dont know how long does it takes u have to wait 5 to 6 days has his passport been submited i said yes after his interview they kept his interview and i kept still asking her since i couldnt belive my ears i said so it means the visa just got issued today she said again yes but she said dont get ur tickets and all that done now i said yes ofcourse we will wait till he gets his passport back then again i asked her how many days u think he will get call she said approx 5 to 6 days then i said that means next week he should get call she said yes .So many thanks to Allah and all of u guys were very helpful now im so much relieved 4 long yrs of waiting wasn't easy ,But Allahumdullilah "Dair ay duraast ay " luv that saying now never liked it b4 since didnt know how long.NOW i cant wait to tell my hubby when i called DOS it was his late night in pak but i still tried calling him but i guess he was sound asleep now i cant wait to call him again tonight since my morning when he called we both were so upset now i cant wait to break good news .Allhumdullilah .

    No luck with DOS here either! :(

    it really hurts when see ppl like u and the person whom i met in emirates office was not thankful at all i asked him are u happy u got out so quickly and he replied me no he was expecting it and after talking to him i realized he still does not what is Ap well i think ignorance is better then too much knowledge

    I just said what i said because you quoted me and said when people like myself and the person you met in the emirates office.

    Anyway...no don't think its about taveez or anything, insha'Allah everything will be fine for sure.

    Zeha - i'm not sure if you even know how long this process has taken us? I am thankful that everything has been resolved so far, however thankful for everything being so quick...you are right I am not thankful because it was not quick at all!!

    speaking of ignorance and too much knowledge, our NOA1 took 6 months. Our NOA2 took one whole year...and then after NOA2 which stated that our case is approved and forwarded to NVC, USCIS never sent it. It took 4 months, after contacting the state senator for us to actually get the case to NVC, and finally after one year and 11 months we had our interview and now we are on AP, and god knows how long that will take. So if thats quick for you, and I should be grateful....I am sorry I am not. Wish you knew how long 2 years is before you say i was ignorant and unappreciative!

    i never called u impatient i was just saying he did not knew anything that is why he was happy and he would have been happy for at least 2 or 3 months but see i am in the earliest part of our process and i am scared of this ap process and so sorry to hear ur stroy dont u think someone has done a bit of taveez on u :unsure:

    Soon hopefully, getting harder and harder to stay positive

    Don't worry SDW..We're on the same ship.We just wait and relax.Soon our NOA2 will come also like others..

    Hey Missyouhon, did your hubby call USCIS and request a expedite? he should try it. maybe him being military, maybe they will just process it. Did he ever mention to them he is military?? My prays are being said for you and sdw and March filers still waiting.

    Hi Paris,,My hubby called USCIS again last 14th but they said its still on the agent.I dont where they gonna approved it.Our will be 5 month on the 30th.So we still have 2 weeks to wait.My hubby was not in the service anymore.So he cant file military expedite.Thanks Paris for you prayers...But I'm really happy for you..

    not a relevant question but i want to ask about police certificate i have lived my all life in lahore cantt area .from where and how am i suppose to get police certificates .plz reply me coz u guys have been through this. thanks

    Dear!

    First of all this is too early to get info regarding Police certificate coz you are in ur initial process.So don't get panic abt it.

    Second thing is that its very easy to get police certificate.It can be issue only from S.S.P office lahore and which is located at (Govt.College Lahore) kechehry stop.

    Thirdly!

    Your case would be K1 or K3 not CR-1/IR-1 coz you have mentioned in ur time line that u have sent 129F Forms.Plz reset your (Filed for: )secton with K1 or K3.

    thanks for ur reply to let you know we have filed for i-130 and for k3 too now we have decided we will go for cr1 coz we dont have to deal with uscis again .one thing i want to know that how much time will it take coz my wife wants to go through nvc quickly she is asking me to send docs but i am insisting to send her when we get approval but if this certificate takes long time then i think i should apply for this sooner .
