  1. Hmmm...USCIS progress is seriously mysterious and unpredictable . June and July filers are already getting approved. Congrats to all of them :thumbs: but waiting seriously sucks. :huh::angry:

    June Filers- Link

    July Filers - Link

    I know!! Wow July filer less than a month! CSC had vacancies too in Feb and May * my husband was job hunting then and he cam across it*

    I hope everyone gets approved soon..I feel for May CSC filers :( maybe you should've wait until June or July to file :whistle:

    im sure the good news are on the way for you guys ;)

  2. Oh, I hate this waiting too...

    I have a friend who was approved for AOS in 3 months and for ROC in 3 months and she didn't care about her case at all - she didn't even set up the online update.

    In my case AOS took almost 9 months. ROC is 3 months old. I'm checking the online status 2 times a week even though I know that there is nothing new there since I haven't received an email or text. :bonk:

    I just wish I had my friend's patience. :innocent:

    My AOS took long time too, although my husband was active duty military :blink: :blink: we had a lawyer to do the papers...we didn't know we can do it ourselves, and he missed up my name in the application and the birthdate too :wacko: but back then I didn't really know how long it takes, people told me a year or more...I was going to school and didn't think about it really... :innocent: now that we did the package ourselves its different.. :bonk:

  3. 3 June CSC filers and 3 May CSC filers are approved - we're even :lol:

    I think some CSC filers' timeline might not be updated but the majority haven't received the response yet. At least I hope I'm not the only one who hasn't received anything.

    lol...at least you're a CSC :luv: ...I hope you hear the good news soon...as for VSC the Feb filers are getting approved now, so its a long wait for me :hehe: , I know that the timeline for VSC ..I just don't like waiting and *pending* status :whistle:

  4. around the time of submitting our package, we were in the process of moving to another state. My husband wrote a letter explaining to them that we don't have a place yet and provided them with a temporary address (a friend of ours). Our friend received my NOA letter, which means they were ok with it. Once we found a place we sent another change of address to the USCIS (around 20-30 days after the first change of address), and I got my Bio appt to our new address. I would send them change of address to where you live now, and when you find a place send them another one.

    Good luck

  5. That's what I keep checking for! Looking at CSC it's likely that we should see at least one approval by the end of the month.

    I booked tickets to England for next month! :dance: So it'd be great if I received my green card before then, would save me having to carry around the NOA1. And Alex is coming too! It'll be the first time we've ever travelled together, and only the second time in my life I've flown with someone else (I've done so many solo flights).

    Im sure you'll get it then :thumbs:

    Im leaving next week, and I don't mind carrying my NOA with me..I would prefer a GC but this paper will do :yes:

  6. yeah i agree! I think now that ive completed the Bio, I can relax till the end of the year. I'll only freak out if I receive an RFE, but you never know if and when that will come, so no point in stressing now!

    Kinda wish hubby was in the military coz i see their approvals are sooooo much faster!! :wacko: Either that, or I wish the IO who is handling my case is either really new and approves immediately (and skips a few steps due to newbie ignorance) or a Pro at this and is a really really fast processor!! hahaha :bonk:

    Oh well... back to the waiting game! It will be a nice xmas present though!!

    ugh ...my husband got out of the military 1 week before filing :bonk:

  7. looking at the January filers time line;

    still more than half of the January filers have not been approved yet so I am guessing we will see the first round of May approvals in mid November or mid December.

    pretty long wait..

    maybe October..or September :whistle::P

    I just think its better to forget about it now and time will pass faster...some people get approved in 3-4 months though (Vermont)...lets hope it goes well..

  8. My question is why haven't i received my NOA? i just received that my gc was extended for one more year. LOoking at the post others have received their NOA's within weeks. Mine is over a month now.

    Hi

    the NOA is the extension letter that you got. what are you waiting for is the biometrics. I would contact them and ask them about that, usually after 30 days (from your NOA date)you can contact the USCIS.

    Good luck

  9. I also had my biometrics at Tampa yesterday and was suprised how quiet they where got there about 45min early, and was out a good 30 min before my appoinment time. I was the only person in there at the time for biometrics, big diference from, last time It took about an hour because so many people were in there. :)

    Yay to Tampa..

    last time was long wait too, but it was in OH...I wish we are still there, just to be under Cali instead of Vermont :rofl:
