I would suggest that you call PAL and inquire about her flight. You can call PAL office here in the US. If they can find on their database your fiancee's flight booking, then the travel agency is legitimate.

I suppose she already bought the ticket since her booking is confirmed?

Hi, hindi naman sguro issue ung short courtship period nyo pero I would suggest na mag isip ka na ng magandang sagot if ever itanong sayo ng consul yan. In my case, I was asked by the CO, about our engagement, it was only our first time to see each other in person and we got engaged right away, sagot ko, "we have been chatting for 18 mons, its quite a long time for us to get to know each other." Marami dito sa atin engaged kaagad first time na ngkita pero ko pwede isagot sa kanya yan hehehe... Just in case itanong sayo yan, just be prepared lng, kung ano isasagot mo.

Pink and RR - This is Maizy in her exersaucer. This is all hard plastic so that kahit magkaipin na sya she won't be accidentally chewing paint off. The legs are adjustable and can fold for storage. It can either be stationary or you can fold down the little tripod legs (under the red base) to make it a little more "movable" (side to side lang...help develop balance). My wife's BC was also very blurred and for the most part unreadable. You can read parts of it but not much. So we got a a certified letter from the Office of the Municipal Civil Registrar in her province as well just in case. It is called "Form LCR Form No 1A". It is typed, signed by the civil registrar and has an official seal on it as well. It does not replace the NSO BC but it is official. My case has not been approved yet but I don't think there will be any problems. It seems like a lot of old documents are in poor condition.

Yes. Not at or by NSO. NSO just loads or scans the best copy from the local civil registrar, on their database. You can always ask for a certification from the Local Civil Registrar, as an attachment for blurry BC. In my case, there was a way to have my BC clear so why not take it.

My wife sent me her birth certificate with the NSO stamp. I can't read it at all. All the words are blurred Why would they even give this to someone I understand screw ups are very common at NSO. I would like to know if my wife has the original from the city where she was born, and we get a statement from NSO saying that this is the best copy (it says that on the document) will that be acceptable? Does anyone have experience with this?

my BC was like your wife's BC too. I could hardly read my name and date of birth. I requested for best copy from our City Civil Registrar. And then they forwarded the best copy to NSO.My NSO BC copy now is very very clear. The processing took almost a month. I was given a certified true copy of the best copy from the City Civil Registrar, the same copy sent to NSO. I paid less then 200 pesos at our City Civil Registrar, and delivery fee of 140 pesos (LBC).

After my Rose takes her Medical, St. Lukes is going to take hold of her passport. The only other form of Identification she will have left with her is her Postal ID, will this be enough for her to be able to board her plane to back to Leyte ?

Maybe she should get a copy of her passport before she gives it to St. Lukes. And you can check at the airline company what IDs are acceptable for them.

I don't think the place of birth would be an issue. There are some Asians living in the Phils., who were born there. But they are not considered Filipino Citizens just because they were born in the country. I'm sure their place of birth shows on their passports too.
