When i filled out my I 134 , for my proofs I submitted the letter from my employer, my last 3 months pay stubs with most recent for this year with my gross pay showing over the minimum ( and we have 2 months left ) I also submitted my last year w2's and i went to turbo tax online and printed off a complete copy of my taxes with the confirmation that it was received by the IRS and sent this with my packet to my fiance. My question is I know they asked for 2 proofs of income, will they expect the tax copies to have been notarized or anything like that becausw ewne I called to get the transcripts they were not free ( could have pushed wrong buttons) so I choose to do this route instead

Just sent my baby a HUGE MASSIVE ENORMOUS DID I SAY HUGE packet of papers with everything i could possibly send him in afolder with dividers and everything IM getting sooo excited and he received his packet 3 today

if for some reason we get an interview in december do u think they approve more visas during this time LOL kk thats not a real question but sort of hoping for the holiday spirit to warm the hearts of our interviewer getting closer and closer and way excited!!

this part of this process confuses me when does he get the packet that u can not open? will it say do not open on it?

After the interview and once the Visa has been approved - the beneficiary is sent a package (some countries it's to be picked up by the beneficiary) - inside the package is their passport with the visa inside and another envelope that says "Do Not Open" - this envelope is to be carried on the airplane and given to the CBP officer when clearing the POE.

It contains (for those terribly curious) most of the forms etc that you have sent in to this point (so nothing you haven't already seen before).

ok now I have a question do you have to fly into a POE or can you drive to one, see my fiance is in Mexico and I think it would just be easier to drive there and get him since we only live about 10 hrs away from the border???

for us he has to fly ..as hes going to nairobi kenya embassy and he is from Mauritus..our hopeful plan is for him to fly after picking up visa and mysterious yellow packet to the us straight from kenya

Ok will he be able to pick this up at the consulate he interviews at as he will be in kenya and he lives in mauritus he is planning to fly from kenya here as soon as he gets his visa. Im hoping he can do this instead of having to fly home and wait as it is more expensive for us

I have read a lot trust me but I answered my own question anyways, as he will need his passport to fly back from kenya to his home country either way lol so they wil l have to give it back to him then from what i read it is about 2-7 days later he can pick it up from the consulate anyways sorry this was my brain with out coffee..happens a lot so dont hate me LOL anyways I had already told him about it so he wont open it were not there yet anyways

oh and he will have to get that there as he has to fly back either way on his passport im sorry being an airhead here ..i just ansered my own question lol

I did send my original of my birth certificate and divorce decree bc I read that they have the right to ask for them.

I been doing searches for this information I have a letter from my employer stating my start date at job and my income I have pay stubs for the last 2 1/2 months (made copies) I read i dont need the deposits listed letter from the bank but my bank allows me to print it off online so I printed that and I will be adding it do I need my tax info? I was working 3 different jobs last year till I got this one then I was working 2 at the beginning of this year now Im working my main job now so even if i send in my tax info it is taxes on 3 different jobs. So I guess my question is do i need my tax papers ? I can easily print them off online too. What do u suggest?

I got our letter with our case # and embassy information they said they are preparing the documents for the embassy. I do have a question..is there fees i am required to pay to nvc at this point? We are doing a K1 visa and im getting all the documents ready now for that part of the process. Also about originals im doing the 1-134 and i got a letter from my employer stating im a permanent employee my pay rate and my start date do i need to send my original pay stubs or will copies do? What about divorce decree and the noa1 2 and nvc letters originals or copies?

Im a bit frustrated nervous excited because we got our NVC but its in Nairobi Kenya which means a plane trip from Mauritius. Right now we are working on getting everything done ahead of time..im reading everything and so far it looks like this...

Once they get everything at the embassy my fiance's timeline will be this

1. Make medical exam

2. Make Appointment for a week after medical exam with embassy.

3. He flies to kenya with all papers he can possibly have filled out except for medical papers which he will need to pick up from the embassy couple days in advance

He is not from Kenya so will it be hard for him to find the embassy and medical place? Of course lodging is it near all of these places. He will have to go alone so im very nervous for him and also I have been looking for the price he will need to pay for the visa..and cant find it on their website.

SO MUCH TO DO

I know we both have so much to get together and gather and I know we both feel a bit overwelmed

About how long should he plan to stay in Nairobi for all of this process and I saw some doctors given good reviews anyone have any recommendations for him? Not sure he would want to be seen by a female.

Do I need to submit bank info for the I-134 if I am only using my gross salary as basis of my support? I dont have much savings at the moment.

I know what i need to do to submit our paper work but im wondering about the I-134 support form. I am not employed full time , my job is flex (although i get full time hours) and i make above the minumum for support..do i still need a letter from my employer? I have all my payment stubs from here to eternity so im wondering if that is sufficient as I dont believe my employer will state that im full time when i am not.

^^ Today i got in the mail our NOA2 Im so excited and so nervous!! NO RFE's either seems to be going so smoothly. Im praying and praying for interview to go as smoothly and to be approved.

Don't "embellish" anything unless you want to run the risk of a ban on entrance into the United States and, in the absolute worst case scenario, a stint in a federal prison. The government does not look lightly upon visa fraud.

Im reading in the guild on the cover letter I should have a letter included stating how we met. Im wondering if this is necessary? I dont know if the application is supposed to be cut and dry? Seems so formal I dont know im just nervous about sending it and i want to make sure Im doing it right. I did print off some emails like four from the last 6 months and I printed off some calling history but we mostly use skype or ventrillo to talk as its free . UGH

Wait until you have a better understanding of the process and what is required before you start.. It is painful enough without mistakes... Read through the guides again and the posts already here in the K1 area.

Well in the forms i Just stated how we met I guess im asking should i include a letter with details or should what i orignaly wrote on the k129f pettion suffice. I do realize this is just the pettition not the supporting evidence for the interview..which seems thats where we need to have emails and proof..I guess im asking do i need to embellish this? And i have read a lot of the posts and searched and I am going directly off the guides on how to set this up. I have everything already in line and order I am just wondering if I should include an aditional letter explaining how we met. As I see the pettion is just to get an interview in which at that time we must prove we are a couple not at the outset of our pettition.

do i need to seperate the photos? they came with 2 on a page..i hope it wasnt answered before. Im scared to cut them incase i mess them up

you do need taht letter of intent. im surprised you havent received an RFE.

What book are you using? the directions are on the form.. u dont need a book.

You may have missunderstood me...we are still getting our k1 package together and we are doing the letters of intent at this point..and I wanted to know if we needed it to be just plain i plan to marry x with in 90 days or if it should be something else. And when i said doing it by the book i meant lol that we are making sure we are doing everything right and getting everything in order so we dont have problems. IM waiting for his letter of intent and once i receive that I will finish up our application and submit it hopefully around the 15th of July. Sorry for the confustion when i dont have tons of time to type i sort of um skip words and sentences and heck whole thoughts so if you understand me LOL YAY ((HUGS))

Ok im on lunch break. Our letters of intent are just the standard I do declare I will marry this person with in 90 days thing..but do I need to have at this point some sort of letter stating from both of us how we feel and blahblah blah I love him and he loves me? I thought that was when we get the interview..I guess what im asking should our letter have more guts to it or is it fine just being a simple office type letter? He's mailing his tomorrow so if i need it gussied up (LOL at gussied) we need to do it quick.

I did file a police report..and I just found this site today..I was trying to do this all on my own and it was really stressing me out. Today is one of those emotional I miss my baby days LOL I appriciate all replies. One thing we are really nervous trying to do this the right way so much to do it sometimes overwhelms me infact when i read on the next step theres so much i start to panic and i keep saying no just do this part and worry about the next part later. Im about to go to work..my last question is my fiance , he is younger than me. We met online and for 2 years we have been talking..(calling) skype, ventrillo game chat =P anyways I am worried about the age difference..plus the face i saw a post this morning that said if its female bring male to us it gets denied. I know im worring a lot and i havent even put in the packet yet. But..u dont know what a relief it is to find this site..so far already Its relieved my fears and helped me know how to put everything together Im about to head to work but Im so glad to have found u all I feel a bit better

Harry and I are just now getting started on our k-1 pettition. I am in the USA and he is in Mauritius. Im really nervous about all of it as we have some special circumstantces to our case. ( I think anyways) Im just waiting on his letter of intent... I would have had him do it here when he was visiting but...I thought for some reason it had to be postmarked.. anyways he is doing that and sending it tomorrow and then I will be able to send out the package. My question/worry at this moment is.. I dont have a lot of photos of us. I pulled some off my camera but the day I took Harry to the airport I was in a really bad car accident and my camera was stolen from my car by the towing company. I was more upset about the pictures than I was the accident. Anyways I guess im really nervous about all of this as I think how much I want Harry here and I miss him so badly. Any encouragement? Suggestions
