Does the Gross amount meet the standards? From my understanding they go by the total Gross amounts of all income.

We filed in may but we had an rfe ( they said we didnt send in the copy of his birth certificate..of course my complete replica says otherwise ...) anyways itw as technically accepted in June and we just got our approval for his conditional green card August 23rd

My hubby and I when doing our K1 visa I had sent in every months phone log history and emails from the the beginning of our relationship to present day. I didnt send everything but it was quite a bit. When my hubby went to his interview I sent the rest of our phone logs and emails. I even sent screen shots of a game that he and I played every single day showing our characters and such with notes of how we communicated on game ect. Good luck to you and the more the merrier. At his interview he looked at the screen shots and commented but he didnt read every email but he did flip through them.

We went to his interview on monday Aug 23rd after a 2hour wait and 15 minute interview we were given an approval letter. And told 90 days before his green card expires to file to lift conditions. ONe thing about the interview first off my hubby forgot his ring (its to big and falls off we just havent adjusted it yet)

When we first went in he asked us for proofs. Since we failed to get his social security in time we really had nothing but our rental agreement. I also hit up friends and even our realtor LOL to write a letter verifying they know us as a couple and gave him those. He asked us when we first met in person and how we met as we were telling him he kept interupting us with another question. One point he asked to see Harry's key chain which he doesnt have as we only had one key to our house. And i was like where we live its to hot he isnt going to go outside and when we do go out we always go together. He also asked us if we had sex the first time we met. We answered and he was I guess shocked =P but we just said well we had known each other for 3 years prior and we were already in love. Then he left the room to make copies of everything and another guy came in asking where he went he kept like looking at us and stuff but Harry and I were talking to each other so we werent really paying attention to him. I sort of have a feeling that he was there to see if we acted like a couple. I guess we did cause harry was picking the sleep out of my eyes..hey it was a long drive. So he came back in and said ok your approved and said the green card will come in the mail and explained to me that we will need to file to have the conditions lifted with in 90 days of his conditional green card expiring. Anyways one thing I came out of this is knowing WHAT we need to prove at the 2 year mark. So my advice 1. wear your wedding ring have a key chain LOL and just be yourselves.

He arrived Christmas Eve but we went in end of Feb but she said it was 2 close to the expiration..I thought as long as it was more than 2 weeks...but either way We can be patient. It would have been so much easier to have gotten it done at first..but I work a lot and around the time he got here he got sick then got me sick then i got him sick we just were like going round and round there for a while but were healthy now

I had our AOS rejected also but it was my mistake I made the check for 1080 LOL for some reason with all the forms I filled out I was thinking the fee was more....sooo the 2nd time around I made 2 1 for 80 and 1 for the 930. It went through fine..but got a RFE for a copy of hubby's birthcertificate..which was there but they must have overlooked it..but sent a copy in anyways and we got our biometrics appointment letter a week after that.

My hubby and i went to riverside ca for his biometrics appointment. We got there really really early as we were driving quite a distance away and I wasnt sure about how traffic would be plus I tend to get lost easy and it just gave us the time to find the place and go out for breakfast. Anyways our appointment was at 11am but we went in around 10:30 and were in and out before our appointment time YAY She said to be looking for the work permit in the next couple weeks Whew Im so glad to have this step done..we will have some mad scrambling to do after it arrives as we were to late to get his social. Im seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.( of course only to go into another tunnel) My hubby is getting terribly bored so I cant wait for him to start working LOL

We were unable to get my husbands SSN in time, im a bit confused on how we get it now that we sent off AOS. Will we have to wait till he has EAD card? or GC? or can we use the NOA forms saying AOS pending as a way to get his SSN? We really dont HAVE to have it right now although it would be nice to get some of those things on my todo list done like put him on my bank account ect.

Well my hubby and I just finished all our AOS papers. His K1 visa expired Mar 24th 2010 but we were married Jan 25,2010. We would have finished our AOS papers and had them mailed off MUCH earlier but about 3 weeks before the 1-94 ran out we realized that the consulate kept his birthcertificate at his interview. YES i panicked! I called immigration even though i had read that there is no deadline for the AOS. They said as long as we fufulled the k1 visa requirment(marriage with in 90 days) which we did that there is no problem. Anyways, we finally got his birth certificate and sent off our packet friday. WHAT a relief doing so. Im hoping everything goes quickly. we only had a few snags so far in this one was he hasnt got his ssn# yet. With my work schedule and him getting SICK when we finally could go and do it the Social security office said it was to close to the I94 expiring. We have so much to do sometimes it feels so overwhelming but Im just happpy to get this big part finished mailed out and over.

YAY omg what a blessing!! he was able to pick up his visa and get out of the embassy so quick. Working on a cheap flight now to get him here before christmas! but HE HAS IT!! AM SOOO HAPPY!!

Ok today is the day they said for him to go get his visa I AM HOPING Its ready today so he can be here before christmas. This whole week has been crazy but at least we see the light at the end of the tunnel just not sure how long its going to take..then to start a whole new process. I have already been looking over the AOS guides..UGH Im getting so excited..been cleaning like crazy and have all this nervous energy i think im driving people crazy I find myself pacing the floors but for no reason LOL does the craziness ever end? please tell me it does

Ok this morning I was talking to my fiance, he was telling me he didnt get approved after his interview. At first he was telling me he asked a lot of questions looked through everything and then gave him a blue slip and said to come Dec 22 at 3pm to pick up his stuff and then said well it might not be ready then and might have to wait another week. I was flipping out a bit because he didnt have the slip with him (he put it back at his hotel) and seemed like he didnt get approved. Well nothing made sense because he said he signed the part of the DS-230 that says dont sign unless instructed by and IO and they kept his passport. I kept thinking it had to be approved and after calling a VJ member and her husband telling her over the phone YES blue slip means approved and he will be going back to pick up his visa I couldnt believe it. I called my fiance back and said its approved baby it wasnt denied. THEN he tells me that the screen shots I sent him of our characters on Perfect World a game we play the interviewer was very interested in those commenting OH u can get married on this game? And was telling him that he plays wow and told my fiance that he might go try perfect world. Then he tells me more of the interview and Im going omg baby we are approved but because he didnt say congratulations my fiance was still not believing it. I think he was super stressed because he said he couldnt even find the wooden marker they gave him when he checked in his mobile...( only to discover it was a piece of paper) lol Anyways WERE APPROVED.

I must say this whole process is very stressful. I kept thinking last night what I would do if it wasnt approved and we talked about what we would have to do and realizing our whole life was in the hands of ONE PERSON who could change everything. Im praising Jesus for answering our prayers because I know it truely was by his hand. For our interviewer to be into mmorpg games He did ask a lot of questions but my soon to be HUSBAND promised he will give me the whole account to type up on these forums. Anyways thank you all who prayed for us and I wish everyone the best of luck. NOW Im praying that he will be here for Christmas As it is even staying this next week is very hard on us financially but to know that HE WILL BE HERE its not a maybe but HE WILL is just the best thing we dont have to keep tempering our words with *if you get approved when u get here we can do this* anyways Im looking forward starting our new life together

I dont know how im going to sleep these next 24 hours. Im all in knots right now. Harry will be going to his interview in 9 hours. Im a mess right now. If you pray please pray for us. I know I have been praying!

He passed his medical they just gave him an envelope to take to his interview so when i talked to him hes like baby i dont even know If i passed can u call them LOL I love him so much so yes i called them and said that he has his medical and that they gave him envelope and I said is he allowed to open it and they said no it will make it invalid so im like ok but he doesnt know if he passed and they said if he is taking it to the interview he passed if he had failed it they would take that information themselves to the embassy so YAY he passed his interview is tomorrow 8pm pacific time omg i dont know how im going to sleep tomorrow. If you have a minute please pray for us. It has been a crazy crazy time for us. Its like u want to plan but u cant plan but u do plan but its all hinged on one thing. Thank you all who may read this and pray for us we surely can use all the prayers we can get!

Saving my spot! My sweetie has his interview Dec 16th.

I just called him and he said with all the tests hes doing he will be at the medical place all day and he said baby you better love me a whole lot for all im going through. Of course I do and everything he tells me I just stand in amazement how he loves me so much because I know how much i love him. His interview is Dec 16th . Im starting to get excited but more than anything just this waiting is killing me. Im truely hoping he will be here for christmas that would be the best present in the world. Im happy, excited, anxious and going crazy all in one great big emotion here.

anyways Congrats i love to come in and see all the approved posts and sometimes I read people's stories and cry I hope u have the best christmas ever!!

Im up late cant even sleep spent hours on the phone making my fiance's medical appointment and interview appointment in kenya. Im starting to feel way to anxious and excited abut of course bitting my nails lol anyways what a relief to have a day to pray for!!

I should be sleeping since i have to get up soon for work but now i cant sleep!! ugh i have a feeling the next few weeks are going to be crazy . His interview is Dec 16th at 8am and his medical is dec 9th and i have to say the nairobi consulate was soo sweet everyone i talked to so far were very very helpful. now he just has to find alll those places in a country he has never been to! I just called him and told him his good news..hes on the way to pay for his tickets to kenya were both just excited and nervous.

reason i mention my parents is i have read that they do ask questions on them but he has never met them im not very close to them i call them here and there but dont really talk to them about my life and because they are not very supportive I havent talked to them much about everything. I just figured I would get married and go visit them eventually =P and they will be fine so i dont know what he will say if they ask him about my parents

we are at that step he received his packet 3 and his police certificates and is ready with all other documents. I mailed out the stuff i needed to send plus the 1_134 and allll sorts of documents. anyways once he receives my package we will be ready to schedul his medical exam and his interview. I was already in contact with the consulate by email and they said they can coordinate the interview through email just to let them know after we schedule the medical. Im so nervous as he is not from that country and not sure what to do /expect of that area but at least the consulate will work with us which is very very nice of them Anyways so many worries right now and im nervous about the interview. When he was here he didnt meet my parents as they are in another state and not very supporting of my decision they dont know him and they think i flipped my lid. Anyways I guess im wondering what types of questions they ask i know i have read people say to practice some interview questions but i worry it will sound canned and not natural not sure how natural u sound nervous anyways

I know im rambling but some things im wondering about how easy is it to navigate there as he will need to find a place to stay and find the medical place and the consulate lol and i just think wow hes doing all this to be with me Going through all of this and giving up so much to be withme I dont know anyone who would go through so much and so much expense he amazes me every day
