  1. About 8 months waiting for my GC. Hopefully CSC approves it soon. :-/

  2. MIchael+Amy, this is probably too late to help you but US Citizen fiance's are more than welcome to accompany the beneficiary into the consulate. Just let the people know who you are and they'll direct you from there.

    And thank you, Mochamich!

  3. I'm still in Calgary for another week. My POE date is on November 21st. Also about getting a copy of your medical, though it isn't required to get a full copy for AOS as USCIS is supposed to have it on file, some people say it's a good idea to get a copy anyway as sometimes USCIS "loses" the medical results (don't know how or why). Otherwise DS-3025 is what you need, the...

  4. Cross-posting from my profile page in case you don't see my reply to your question:

I didn't have to ask them for an extra copy. When I went to pick up my results, they handed me three things; the sealed envelop, a CD, and an envelop that was not sealed which contained a copy of my vaccination records (Vaccination Worksheet DS-3025). Nurse said I'd need it for AOS.

  5. Hey Michael & Amy,

I didn't have to ask them for an extra copy. When I went to pick up my results, they handed me three things: the sealed envelop, a CD, and an envelop that was not sealed which contained a copy of my vaccination records (Vaccination Worksheet DS-3025). The nurse said she included that form in the unsealed envelop because I would need it when I AOS.

  6. Hi Marcia&Danny, I haven't gotten my Packet 3 letter yet so I'm not sure when an interview would be. NVC was supposed to have sent notice to the embassy sometime last week so any day now, that letter will get here--I hope. I hope you two won't be waiting much longer for your NOA2. I will be keeping you in my thoughts. :-)

  7. Are you still waiting for your NOA2? :-(

  8. Thank you everyone for your support. :-) Hopefully everything goes smoothly from here.

  9. 202. Breached 200 days of waiting. VSC still has 27 days.

      Thank you all. :-)

  10. 30 days since VSC acknowledged receiving my RFE response. VSC has 30 more days according to them. All this over one missed checkbox.

I was starting to wonder If I was the only one who was still waiting for a response from VSC. One missed checkbox, and it turns into a nightmare. I feel your pain.

I'm glad and also saddened to know there are people waiting in this RFE limbo with me. I hope we all hear from VSC soon so we can finally move on. I think it is ridiculous they ask for 60 days to look at an RFE with a missed checkbox or look at an RFE for 2 passport photos. It's probably only five minutes of work for them.

  11. I hope you get your NOA2 soon.

  12. No wedding plans for us, Mari & Kadir. We are saving up our money and just going to the courthouse when I get down with there with The Precious (aka. The K1 Visa). I know, very romantic of us! Hehe, just kidding. Thank you for dropping by. :-)

  13. I saw your timeline when I was reading a topic on the forum and I just want to let you know that you have my sympathies for how low and ridiculous a wait you've had to endure. I hope things get resolved for you soon.

  14. Thanks for dropping my my profile. Best of luck to you! :-)
