I met the love of my life in Nicaragua in 2009 on a mission trip. Somehow, Armando fell in love with me while he saw a dirty, sweaty me build a church and paint churches. I still don't understand how THAT happened! LOL But he continued to pursue me and asked me at the end of the three week trip to be his girlfriend. I asked for time to think and pray about it. I knew that God wanted me in this relationship after one month of praying and getting advice from close friends and family. Two months later, Armando asked me again and I happily agreed. I'm so glad God sent him into my life! He's so romantic despite the distance and the language barrier! Oh, did I forget to mention that?!?! Yeah, he's at the beginning of learning English and I'm at learning Spanish. God is our life and fills us with love for each other. On July 9th, 2009, Armando asked me to marry him and I said yes! We got married on May 22, 2010 and getting ready to celebrate 1 year!

hi ashley the trip was ok very tired from flying it was good to see the girls the interview went ok we were there for 5 hours they said we needed different birth certificts the ones we had were old the consutate woman said if we bring the papers we are approved.
