I believe birdygirl is waiting for her interview date because she had to reschedule. Not sure about anyone else.

My husband entered the US in April of 2010. We were going to file in August but our co-sponsor backed out. It took us a while to get a new one and we couldnt file until January 2011. His medical expired in February but we still received his GC this May. At the inerview we were asked why it took us until January to apply. I would suggest applying as early as you can. We may have just gotten lucky.

Hola todos! Ya mucho tiempo que no visitaba visajourney
Bueno, les comento que mi esposo ya recibio la conditional residency card y estamos buscando trabajo. No pensamos que fuera tan dificil. Bueno, que tengan un muy buen dia!

Congratulations jay-kay and mailbox4me!
My husband just got his GC in the mail! We are so excited! Now if he could only find a job.....We have been trying but nothing yet...

Went to our interview and were approved after like 10 minutes of questioning. We are so excited!!

My hubby got his combo EAD/AP card too! Yay!
-
Weve had lots of movement since we sent the RFE. EAD and AP were approved Friday, then yesterday we received the interview letter. Interview set for May 10th. Yay!!

@Jay-kay
I was also hoping that it wasnt an April Fools joke. Congrats to you too!!
-
Got text and emails that our EAD and AP were approved and sent for card production. Finally some movement!
-
USCIS just sent us a text that they received the RFE. Hopefully we can get the EAD soon, or the GC :-)
-
Mailed RFE today. It will arrive on Monday. Hopefully my husbands process goes by fast after this. Heres to hoping for EAD soon.

I translated my husbands birth certificate for AOS. I just had to send a letter stating I was fluent in both English and Spanish and translated it to the fullest of my knowledge.
-
Just received the RFE letter. It asks us for the 2010 taxes of our co-sponsor. Atleast it is something that can easily be attained. Gonna send that in Monday.
-
Finally some movement on our case. It is a RFE but atleast I know they didn't forget about our case, or worse, lose it. Now on to waiting for it in the mail. I'm pretty sure it's for 2010 taxes and a certification that the translator for my husband's birth certificate is fluent in spanish.

The last touch we had was January 14th

CONGTATULATIONS!

A transfer to CSC usually means approval without interview. Congrats! I hope mine gets transfered too.

We havent gotten any touches since my husbands bio appt. Its depressing. Have any of you gotten touches?

Hey guys. Marcos went in for his bio appt on wednesday the 2nd. It was pretty quick. I was sad I couldn't go. Now just waiting for the EAD or interview. Hope you guys enjoyed the super bowl today!

Well...we received an RFE today.....but its not my husbands name in the letter. They apparently sent us someone elses RFE. I had to call the 800 number and they just put in a service request for the typo. Talk about a headache.

ok now I am feeling left out! We technically filed in Dec (the 29) but our NOA's are from January 6. Which makes us a January filer. And we haven't gotten out Bio letter!
The only touch I have seen is on the 14, but I think that is because of me... its the date I was able to finally add them to my account, to stare endless at them.
My life is so sad these days.... even our the MLK weekend, I kept checking the site, just hoping something would happen/move. Even though I knew they weren't open.
We had a touch on the 14th as well and then....voila! We got our bio in the mail yesterday. I'm pretty sure Im getting a rfe as well because I forgot to include the certification that the translated document for my husbands BC was translated by someone fluent.

My daughter and I both have medi-cal (it's called that in California) and my husband received his GC without any problems. If your husband receives benefits from medicaid, then its a problem.
