Are there any October interviews out there?

After a long awaited and sometimes frustrating "first lap" of the journey, we FINALLY have our interview scheduled for October 13th @9:30! God is good!

Did you guys call them or did they just send it in the mail

How long does it take for the NVC to schedule an interview after your case has been completed

We are finally approve for our I130 case by the NVC my husband call today and they told him to expect an email of my interview date i cant to see what date i have. i have been waiting so long to see my husband to just touch him, feel him, smell him am so excited right now.

Do you guys think that at the interview if they ask me when was the last time i saw my husband an di told them january will i get a blue paper to bring back my spouse. my husband is in the military and he cannot take leave often.

Which of the Affidavit of support should be used if only one person is filing for their spouse the I864EZ or the I864 form? my husband use the I864 form the NVC keeps sendin us checklist so he went to an immigration place and they are telling him to use the I864EZ form

yep, most likely not August interview... but who knows you may get lucky.

Before you sure them, which would most likely just be a big old waste of your time and money... speak to a supervisor!!!

well my husband is about to call them right now. but u know the funny thing is that i dont think they know what they are doing even sometimes i call and i ask since the NVC says that this particular ques is incorrect how should it be done then what his he doing wrong they just keep telling me well you have to redo the form and submit it again i hear this everyday so i just let my husband do the talking cause i dont want to be rude to them and ruin my chance of seeing my husband we have been apart for too long its depressing

I don't think that the annual income you present on I-864 has got to match what's on your W-2.

Mine did not, because my W-2 shows my past income, and for annual income I wanted to show how much I will be making this year, so I got paperwork from my employer that shows my annual salary and I submitted some paychecks that show same bi-weekly amount I receive, so my annual income is not the same as what I earned last year (i.e. w-2).

So, I don't think that the problem with your I-864 is that the numbers simply don't match, you really should ask to speak to a supervisor and ask to clear that up for you what exactly is not jiving on your form...

well my husband is threatening to sue them and we are way over the poverty guideline plus he is in the military i simply dont know why they keep saying that we dont know what else to do

And on your copy that you kept do they match? Did you fill it out by hand? Maybe they can't read the handwriting?

it was filled out on the computer. this is going to be the 5th time he has to send it in and its the same information thats on his w-2 and his annual income. i dont think they know what they are doing cause u cant be doing they same thing for 5 consecutive time and still be getting it wrong thats just ridiculous . he called them again this morning and they told him that they are not the one who keeps telling us that its incorrect its the embassy here in kingston jamaica

What exactly did you submit for #25?

my husband submitted his total income but they said it doesnt match with what is on his w-2

my case is still at the NVC we returned a checklist response for the I864 on the 1st but they just entered it in the system on the 6th . we called them everyday but they said our case is being reviewed so we must wait 2-4 weeks for a reply i know sometimes its shorter than that but if our case is approved do you think we would still get an August interview date

however i dont see why they should take 2-4 weeks to review 1 single document when everything else in our case is correct it should probably take 1 day

my husband and i are having a serious problem with the NVC we have been doing the i864 form now for over a month each time he sends it in they send us a checklist saying we have information missing and incomplete and its just for one single question on the paper number 25 his annual income they are telling him that the amount he has for his annual income does not match what is on his w-2 . My husband went on deployment so as you may know he got paid which the amount that he got paid is non taxable whis is over 22,000 now that is what they are looking at instead of his annual pay for 15,000 something . he had to send the same form with the same thing four times he explain it to them they said that they would put it in the system he even went as far as having persons from the tax company talk to them. last week they sent us another checklist for the same thing my husband got so mad and upset if he was anywhere near where they were someone would have died. he got a chance to speak to a supervisor and he did give it to her he said when he was finished he could hear it in her voice that she wanted to cry thats when she said he must send the information in an email which he did from last week wednesday we got a response but we have to wait cause apparentley they answer emails n the order which they came but apart from that nothing. I dont know what else to do the 18 of this month is gonna be 1 year since we filed and i see persons who file long after us got their visa already. Any advice?

Yes it will work I did E mail NVC about 4 times and they replay to me each time

What do you have to loose?

Munchy, there is an interview tracking sheet that is JA specific in the regional forum, and lots of advice from others - The Jamaican embassy does things a little differently.

I am confused though - are you filing for the IR1 or AOS?

no its a CR1 we were sent a checklist for the I864 saying we have information missing we responded last week monday but we are just waiting for them to review it and enter it in the system so they can schedule my interview for me to get my visa

yes everything was paid since march 09

everything paid, supporting documents were sent since march 09

my ds230 package was sent from last month everything was ok with that but they keep sending us checklist for our AOS saying we have incomplete or missing info however my husband corrected it and sent it by FEDEX last week monday when we call them they said its in the building but have not reviewed it yet. we have been doing this almost a year now and we are frastrated especially my husband since he is in the military and his job is stressing it would help if i was there to comfort him

How long does the NVC takes to review your files and forward it to the emabassy? My case is at the NVC I really wanted to get my interview in July but it seems as if its gonna be in August or Sept i am running out of patience

my case is still at the NVC. They send us a checklist for the I864 they said that my husband income for 2008 does not match with his w-2. my husband will be replying to them this saturaday and i know that they are probably gonna put my interview date in august which sucks
