Yes that's a good question what year she turn 16 example if your wife is 30 years old now they should see her address for the last 14 years. If that's what you did call NVC again to make some clarification better ask for a supervisor. Sometimes people at NVC have different answer on same question.

Did you got an RFE for this or you just call NVC to ask if your documents are in order?

I did the same got a confirmation letter and my interview is on DEC 15 but when i checked my profile on SHOW INTERVIEW HISTORY box the date says interview date DEC. 14... I'm calling the call center but it takes forever to get a live operator. Have you already checked your profile...does it have any problem as mine?

Yes sometimes they allow that ask the consul if you could just have your visa pick-up personally... I'm not so sure on this one but I think it's no longer AIR 21...it's 2GO delivery service which i prefer personally...keep us posted on your interview experience. goodluck

I'm sorry i don't have the answer to your question but few people here in VJ has been lucky to be able to have pick-up thier visa especially when they told them that they are staying on a nearby hotel. You could try that or just simply tell them your situation...anyways congratulations to your wife interview date I know you've been trough a lot GOD BLESS

if u know ur case number u can do it now then call the USembassy Manila and they will let u have a schedule (medical and interview )if u dont know yet (Manila case number )better call the NVC for ur case number and the date was completed and if ur case has been forwarded here in the Philippines ask the date also Godbless

NVC will assign your interview date if your doing the IR1/CR1. In K1 you will call and pick your own date. Our case got completed Aug.14 they also told us to wait 6 to 8 weeks (I think it is standard ) but we got our interview e-mail Sept. 3.

NVC got our AOS and DS230 package but they havent processed it yet, NVC have back logs and ask us to wait 6 to 8 weeks. We sent the AOS last month but our case worker not even open the package yet. Still hoping for SIF this month though, good luck to us.

I'm waiting for our SIF too. My husband called NVC last night and they told him there is a back log at NVC. Even the AOS package we sent last month is not even processed yet.

Your best bet really is get a post paid internet for 999php a month for your wife's family here. They can talk all day & night if they want through skype or YM. But next thing you know your wife's family will complain that electricty bill shook up and you need to send extra money And a call from US is really expensive so ask your family in Pinas to call you instead, get SUN INTERNATIONAL sim card it's cheaper to use when calling and texting abroad.

The USC just need his passport and it would be better to bring his birth certificate too, plus $30, you can pay in peso too, just be sure to be early 10am is the cut-off time, you can go with him, just make sure you bring ID too. get a number and fill-up the form, a little interview and in 5 minutes your done. good luck.
