    NVC send me a letter...they advised that their office has revised their guidelines regarding for communication between the NVC and the piblic...they are now required to verify case information each time they receive a inquiry...what this mean..they ask my nvc case number and my husband name and date of birht and my name and my date of birth...dunno were gonna send about this

      anytime you contact them via email,letter or phone call you need to make sure you give that info or else they will not respond back this is this is there email account also NVCInquiry@state.gov

      There are several part of the process that will be faster doing it by email

      petitioner name and dob

      applicant name and dob

      when you call the number 603-334-0700 to check status or questions about your case if needed

    i met my husband on myspace.com in september of 2009......we were married in Febuary 2010 in his home country of Nigeria..I am presently residing in Nigeria with my Husband until a later date.......i filed back in march 2010 but have never recieved a reply so am i in the process of refiling.....

    1 week has pass...no interview Appointment Letter yet...hoping to have within this week :) LORD give us SEPTEMBER :)

      they give interview date the second week of the month SO you will get it in september so just be patient We are waiting also

      actually its not the certificate of marriage

      its actually called a CENOMAR but one page is for married couples and you get it at the NSO

      CEMAR=CErtifiacte of MARriage

      CENOMAR=CErtificate of NO MARriage you get this from NSO

      CEMAR is Certificate of Marriage from the NSO if single its called a CENOMAR its just the census record thet your marriage has been recorded

      • Original/Certified Birth Certificate of beneficiary and a copy

      • Original/Certified Marriage Certificate and a copy

      • Original/Certified NBI Police Clearance Certificate and a copy

      • Original/Certified Copy of CEMAR and a copy

      need to make sure you have your I864 completed and your DS230 with all the supporting documents there asking for

      • Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s full name, and date of birth are written on back of both)

      • DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary

      • DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions

      • Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Benef...

    is upset and depressed we recieved RFE..OMG...Dear God pls..help me and my husband...hoping this is not major RFE..
