  1. If mom has family that will take care of her in her older years to me it's MUCH better if she is in the Philippines. Way to expensive here in the US to take care of older peeps.

yeah we know that. there's alots people to takecare with her if she came back.but the thing is she doesnt want to give up and go back until her papers done yet. im so confused i want her back since she had a nicer daughter from other country and can go with her. she still can travel except here bec. we know that overstay they band 3 or 10 yrs. or 5 to 10 yrs.

i dont know what u think.

  2. ok i been searching a lots for what the best answer and what supposed to be happen....

I m having a problem to my mother she is 67 years old she came from here in u.s as tourist visa i thing B2 when she got here she decided not to go back in our country which is philippines due to having financial problem and her sister's and bro. my mother was 9 years over staying and she entered 2000 or 2001. and she work illegal from the senior citizen. no paying taxes and everything and i had plenty relatives here in ca. and i came here through fiance visa and now i am going to for my citizenship on oct.

the thing is my mother had favorite daughter she was in other country and the rest of my sister and brother was in P.I they had family already and all things. to tell honestly were not understanding between me and my mother bec. all of thing are different she just always comparing me to my cousins, sister the one shes favorite, and others she talked alots for not telling the truth specially to my relatives and my sisters and bro's...one time my aunt from san jose ca they got a reunion over there and my aunt tell one from my relatives that my mother is a trouble maker which is right i dont blamed my self bec. we notice that me and my sisters & bro's she want to make a trouble for telling not the truth for one of us and were hurting our self and unti not talking each other. just bec. of my mother and were just disagreed for everything specially when we talk about something else personal. bec. it was wrong she just existing right and be comparing and helping for my sisters and brother s for not fair like helping one of my bro and one of my sister in p.i they getting jelous. i dont accept to my self this is only for jelousy how they treats for my other siblings since i m here now in u.s i dont thing about the thing to get jelous bec i know everything u can have it if u can struggle to ur self & be faithful to ur self. i just want to dont ever compare me and it make me hurt for all times. i was so depressed and sometimes confused for everything. and i know the reason why im here just bec. of her to get her legalized here. and the thing is since she still my mother i dont want to get loose for everything to her but sometimes its over. i was so confused she dont want to leave the country she dont want it..... she want to stay until she got her legalized doc. since that old not supposed to worked here in this country but asian culture it doesnt matter.

to tell honesty i want her to send it back in p.i because of her age and i think thats the good thing too for not working anymore bec. she sick it alots of pain she feel she just pretending that she strong. even u tell dont do that dont do this for your own risk and she just ignore and no care. even my relatives is there to help but not everyday not all the times i wonder if something really really bad happen i dont know what i m gonna do.

i dont know how i can start i dont want my relatives think that just bec. of her deported it was me she just plan that after my citizenship is to get the lawyer to make settle everything her papers and stay longer here...

i dont know what supposed to be i can do to her. i want something happen that other cant tell that my mother no longer stay here bec. of her status i want something lawyer can tell to her. but since i think she qualified for something else i can still petition her even over staying parents and make changes status of her. i dont know if i m wrong.

  5. Ok I dont know how to start... coz I dont know where to start lol. But anyway, tag-lish ko na lng mga sis kasi minsan nag oonline din dito asawa ko baka mabasa pa nya to :dead: . First I'm going to ask if there is any of you here experienced at the present of your marriage with your husband na magtago ng sekreto for the first time with him for his own good...... and for your peace of mind ? I mean anything... tulad ba ng sulat na hindi mo pinakita sa kanya which is you decided na mas mabuti ng hindi nya na mabasa kasi baka mas lumaki pa yung problema ? I know na mali yung gagawin mo na ikaw yung mag de-decide if what is good or wrong for him pero what if kung ikaw mismo nakikita na yung asawa mo eh blinded with the situation that he into right now..... Na sa umpisa pa lang against ka na, pero syempre dahil mahal mo xa and his your husband you tried to understand him (specially there is nothing really wrong of what his doing naman) and be a little bit more open-minded about it before.

I really felt guilt sa ginawa ko... pero I think atleast god knows why I did it. This for his own health, marriage and our LIFE !

So the quistion still the same lol. Atleast na experience nyo na ba kahit paano na may itinago sa asawa nyo for a good reason or kung baga sabi nga nila "White Lies "? Walang plastikan ha.... Hindi pa naman ako perfect wife  .

if his nothing your not here in u.s try make simple...need translation

  6. #22 states : Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:

it also states: If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular in:

    (city) (Country)

My question is what does it mean by "not eligible"? If you are in the country legally, are you eligible? Does anyone know to look for the guidelines in writing? In the US CODE. Not ametuarish answers please.

    Thanks.

I've also heard that you can file the I130, I485 and a I765 all at the same time.

  8. Hi,

My wife received a "yellow letter" Case File Review Notice stating that she needs to bring a document of her shoplifting arrest to the interview. And by the way she haven't receive the interview letter yet. I heard that they will send the interview letter a few weeks later. Is that true?

Here is what I am worry about. I am worry that she will be denied for a citizenship due to her arrest for shoplifting (less than $200 of stolen goods). She have the all court document that her case is dismiss.

Do you know anybody who was denied for a citizenship because of shoplifting?

    Thanks

  11. If you have had your permanent residence since July 2006, have been married to the same US citizen all three years and have not left the US for more than 6 months you are eligible to apply for your citizenship application now. The 90 day rule means you are allowed to apply for citizenship 90 days before your third anniversary of getting your green card if you have been married to and living with the same US citizen three years or more at the time. You don't have to apply for citizenship, though - only if you want to. You can remain a Permanent Resident and renew your Permanent Resident card in 10 years.

:) thank u so much its really help

  12. I doubt if you just applied for an I-751 you are eligible for citizenship, however you can apply for citizenship if you meet the following conditions regardless of if you're I-751 petition is approved or not:

    1) you have been a Permanent Resident for 3 years (you can apply 90 days before the 3-year mark)

    2) You gained permanent residency through a US Citizen spouse

    3) Your spouse has been a US citizen for 3 years or more.

When I applied for my citizenship last month, I had not been approved for my I-751 yet.

 she must read the procedures for 3 years and 5 years rule...really doubt here too!!! :o

  14. Moved from Foreign Embassy to Removal of Conditions.

    enfm,

You might want to go back to your local office and bring 2 passport sized photographs and ask for an I-94 to be placed in your expired passport with the extension. They are supposed to be able to do that. All the same, it would be a good idea to get your passport renewed, however, I understand that for some countries that is difficult to do. It is always a good idea to have a valid passport if you are in a foreign country, even as a permanent resident.

You may also wish to get in touch with your Senator's or Representative's office. They often have individuals on staff who work with immigration related cases. You will need to sign a permission statement before they can investigate for you. If you live within reasonable travelling distance of their office you can go to the office to sign. Otherwise, check on line for your Senator or Representative's website - they should have a printable authorization/permission letter on their website that you can sign and either fax to them or send to them through the mail. They should be able to launch an inquiry on your behalf to find out why your I-751 is taking so long and help get it moving again.

    Good luck.

    hi there,

thank you for your advice i wonder if i can go back tomorrow and they gonna told me again i have to renew again my freaking expired passport before they give me i94. you know what i found out i dont have any consulate here in puerto rico sucks, i call 411 and look up in the internet if they have one NOTHING. i was so shock right here its look like they dont know how to proceed each case. in states its really big different, anyway nothing different i guess!
