ewww odd. I just realized when I looked at that list, my NOA2 was 9/11 and I was done at the NVC on 11/9... creepy....

I'd like to see some new med reviews as well. My hubby decided he wants to have his Medical in Montreal and I'd love to see reviews on both places. I gave the list to him to decide which one he wants to go to based on which one will be easier to get to from wherever he decides to stay, either at his brother's or his dads. But I'd like more info on them both so I feel more comfortable...

Another question, do I need to obtain a new police certificate, or is the one I sent back in November sufficient? And will my husband need to fill out another I-864 form? o_o
The police cert is good for one year, so the one you have should be fine. My letter says the one I emailed in was accepted, but I'll bring the original just in case they want to see it. Time to get organizing..... ugh!

Personally, I believe I will be laughing a lot like I did during my wedding.
I have a weird defense mechanism.I did the same thing at both ceremonies! I think I hit him with my "flowers" (they were plastic and silk "borrowed" from the Court House because my best friend would not let me get married without holding some sort of flowers) during our first ceremony, then at the second one in the DR, the woman couldn't pronounce my maiden name right, then said that my husband was born in 1921 instead of 71 and those two things combined just started the laughter and very very big smiles.

Oh my, well, hopefully that doesn't happen.
On another note, I've narrowed down my photos and moved them to a smaller envelope. It contains 60 pictures with dates ranging from May 2008 to July 2009. I think that'll be good for picture evidence. Here's to overthinking. And I still have 2 months to plan for this thing. >_< Sorry everyone!
I think I have everything in order for the interview, I just need to print out a few things and get him to have more pictures taken. I only have 3 left and I scanned those for the NVC so I figure he can use those for his medical and get new ones for the interview. His mom found his shot records, so he has that for the medical, (hopefully he knows where he put it) so I just need to schedule his medical for him in Montreal....
I'm now thinking about if he wants to import his car, or take it back to Canada and sell it within a year... If he decides to import it, does he have to do it at POE or can he do it another time while crossing the border? Also thinking about him getting his PA drivers license and getting him and his car on my insurance policy and wondering how we get his EI to reflect that he is now a PR of the USA and wondering what else I need to worry about... hahahahahaaa

I scared the living daylights out of my Gramma. Started yelling and screaming for her to come here into my room
I was at work screaming OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! The co-workers who were left were saying, you ok Dan? I said I think we just got our interview date in as steady as a voice as I could muster. I happened to be talking to the hubby on yahoo messenger when the message came over. We both said OMG at the same time and he said is that what I think it is, I said I think so. He said, your computer is faster, what does it say? I said, I dunno, I can't see I'm crying! LOL

Question...
I a CR-1 applicant... Do I need a I-693?? I had chest films, blood work and a physical, but it has been brought to my attention that RFE's are issued requireing a TB skin test...
Has anyone one else heard anything??? (I am leary to call the clinic 'cause although the ladies were nice..they didn't like a lot of questions!!!)
I wouldn't think so since that is what the chest x-ray is for.

I sure hope so! I've only seen it in December and January BRRRRRRRRRRRRR. The hubby and I go there every year to visit some of his family members for New Years. We will make it there in the summer once eventually.... maybe....

Queen was amazing in concert! I saw them when I was in grade school (grade 4 or 5 maybe?). So sad that Freddy is gone. I would love to hear what music he would be making now if he were still alive.

OMG Red!! I thought you forgotten about us!!! Yeah, I know I should take a break from this place but each time someone I know gets an approval or finishes one part of this journey to begin another I feel a little happiness!
Like it was me going right along with them. I know it's hard for you to still be waiting for an appointment, but then from what I read it does take Cananda a while to schedule appts. Egypt is good for scheduling appts but then getting the actual visa afterwards is where we will doing all of our waiting. I am just hoping and praying that me going over for the interview will speed things up alittle for us!!! I hope, I hope and pray!!!
Plus I will get to see my husband!!!!
HAHAHAHAA No, I didn't forget about you guys! I've just been hiding out, getting the apartment ready for the hubby and his stuff and getting all our info together for the interview.
Canada does take awhile, we are now #3 on the VJ list waiting for an interview, we were #13, and word is they are done scheduling February, so we are hoping for a March interview date. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!
I plan on going with him to the interview as well. I love Montreal! Its such a beautiful city! I've only seen it covered in snow though.. and I'd be perfectly ok seeing it one more time that way. Here's to us all getting the visas for our S/O's

First at all, CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF U THAT GOT THEIR VISA ! That is great!! I can imagine how happy u and your loved ones feel now after many months of waiting and stress!!
As my husband said, we r still waiting for our case to be completed at the NVC, I know it is taking longer since we r trying to change my interview here in Spain instead of my country, (Bolivia) We really expected to be aproved until 2 days ago, but it didnt happen, so there is nothing we can do but wait a March date. I have to admit I dont get here as often as I used to.. because.... dont understand me wrong.. I´m so glad everyone´s aproval, but I wish I were one of them LOL!!!! Im so jealous!!!!! I also have to admit these days are very hard. I know most of us waiting to be aproved, dont see to our spouses long time ago, but every day this is harder and harder! I can´t wait to get my case complete and get an interview date!!
Át this step maybe we will get interviews date along with Ms Sheka,

My husband tells me not to get here cause I get so depressed, but Im still being so faithfull, I know it is gonna happen! I know we wil get our visa soon! and I know I will be with my husband and all these hard times will be just story!!
I also saw MsSheka is running!! That is the way she is! she never loses time!!

I know exactly how you are feeling, I feel it quite often and that's when I take a break from this site. I was one of the first approved from the August group (NOA2 September 11th) and I'm still waiting for my hubby's interview to be scheduled in Montreal. I guess I should count my blessings because I have seen my husband a lot during this process and I know most of the people here haven't. But not knowing when we can be together permanently makes parting that much more sad. Only 17.5 more days of hell until I see him again...
Congrats to everyone who has been approved, good luck to those just starting out or waiting for an approval and best wishes for a speedy interview date for the rest of us!

I'm starting to think about gathering all info I need for the interview, whenever that may be. For the people that did the Electronic filing at NVC, in your interview letter does it mention that they need to see the original documents like the DS-230 or birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc? I don't want to miss anything.
