Hi, y'all! M new here so hope, y'all give me consideration.
I already submitted my DS-230 forms and the needed documents nvc required.
And my husband also paid the AOS fee $70, but he didn't submit the AOS forms and the documents required by NVC.
Now, my questions are: Is it nessesary to submit the forms and the needed docs to NVC? or Should i juz bring them to my interview? I'm really confused about it, coz of what i read at the us embassy manila interview guide, that i need to prepare the AOS forms and the required documents.
Please helpme understand.. i appreciate all advice. thank you.
You have to submit everything to NVC (at least that was so in my case). NVC collects all these documents and forwards them to the embassy once the interview is scheduled.

I had tried it for my wife....didn't work!

My wife passed her interview today!!! I'm so freakin' happy right now! The journey started on February 5, 2009.
I will definitely try to update the journey documents here for reference.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU GUYS AND GOD BLESS!

I'm pretty sure that they only issue report from KTM nowadays. Send an email to consktm@state.gov (Kathmandu Consular section) and ask them. I emailed them all the time while my wife's process was going on. Her visa just got approved today. I'm so happy.
I am from Nepal also, but, I grew up here. Good luck!

Our case was completed on July 2nd and an interview for my wife is scheduled for August 12th.

An interview for my wife is finally scheduled for mid-August. Would you guys think I could request embassy for an earlier interview? I cannot wait for her to be here with me. Thank you God!
Our USCIS/NVC journey began on February 5, 2009!
Thank you all for answering any questions I had before. I would like to wish good luck to guys/gals who are waiting for their case to complete.

Hey guys...quick question! Sorry, I tried searching but couldn't find any relevant information.
How are the appointment letters sent nowadays? Are they through snail mail or will they email you a pdf file? Please let me know.
Thank you!

Thanks all for your reply. My wife has already fedex'd the certificate. It should be here in 3-4 days. Oh well, I have to pay for my mistake. Hehe!

Our case is on hold because NVC says that we are missing the original birth certificate. My wife's original birth certificate is not in English so we provided a government translated/signed birth certificate in English. Is there any way to ask NVC to complete the case and for us to provide the original birth certificate at the time of the interview? It will take at least 7-8 days to receive the original and another 2-3 days for NVC to receive it. What are my options? Please help.

I have called them multiple times. They just tell me to send the whole thing again. I have already done that. Hopefully it will make it this time.

I sent my Affidavit of Support forms and all the required documents to NVC via certified mail and return receipt. The package was received by the Visa Center and signed by R AUSTIN on 5/1/2009. To-date, their computer still does not show the record of receiving the package. I sent the package to their new address, 31 Rochester Ave, with document cover sheet and everything. Could someone please clue me in?
Thank you in advance.

Don't worry! Everything will be fine. It is definitely the stress of the process.
