  1. Hi guys, Thought I would say hello as it's been a while since I've been on the site!

We filed our AoS at the beginning of june and I have done biometrics recently! How exciting! I found out today that our case was transferred to CSC on the 12th July which I believe is a good thing! I was worried because I only sent DS-3025 and not the 693 that is asked for, so I hope this doesn't cause any hiccups!

I wish everyone a good journey with their AoS and good luck to everyone who has interviews soon. :D

  2. I haven't used any of them, but I will be needing someone to use in the near future.

I'd kept these bookmarked from a topic a while ago, they're not stafford or rosenberg but are houston -

    Dr. Nazmudin Keshwani, Med-Cure

96 Berry Road, Houston, TX 77022

    (713) 699-0500 - They said they had to wait 2hrs but it only cost them $25.

Also another person Dr. Forough Farzani, Hillcroft Physicians - 6400 Hillcroft, Houston, TX 77081 (713) 988-3921, They were also quoted $25 for it and I think they're a little closer to Stafford

  3. Congratulations on your approval!

I had my interview Monday 7th Dec and received my passport back on Wednesday 9th Dec @3pm!

I think they're pretty good at getting it back to you within the 5 working days as long as they do not require additional info or have a holiday backlog. [Someone please correct me if I am wrong]

  4. Hi.

My interview was yesterday. My affidavit forms and supporting evidence was dated late october, I didn't include newer paystubs with mine and it was accepted with no questions.

It says this on the London Embassy site, not sure if it helps ease your worries a little.

    Affidavit

Affidavits of support should be of recent date when presented to the consular officer. They are unacceptable if more than one year has elapsed from the date of execution.

    Good luck!

  5. Congratulations!! That's such good news!!

I just heard from David and......we are approved!!!! Yeah!!! He is going to post later the details of the interview but all in all he said that it very smooth and seemless. Good luck to Wendy and John tomorrow and everyone else in the coming weeks and months. Thanks to all of you for your support throughout this process...We couldn't have done it without VJ...
  6. I sent mine off on the 28th October by Special Delivery so it got there on the 29th. I received mine back on the 13th November.

This is the number from their site, For any enquiries relating to Police Certificates please contact ACRO Customer Services on Tel: 0845 60 13 999

    Here it what it says about delivery and estimated times;

How long does my Police Certificate take to come back to me?

This can very, and there are a number of factors you may wish to take into account in your planning. Although we offer a 2 day and 10 day service, at different costs to help with your requirements - please note: these are the operational working days that we need to process your application on our systems and does not include weekends or bank holidays or postal time each way.

Example times: For an application posted 1st class to us in the UK on the premium service, please allowed 3 working days from you to us and 3 working days for the return i.e a total of 8 working days until you get your police certificate back. This is if everything goes smoothly and to plan, the postal service is good, with no errors on your application, no Bank Holidays etc. For standard service posted to us 1st Class in the UK it is important to realise that including the weekends and any non-working days, it could take upto 20 days before you receive your police certificate back.

It's probably in the post on the way back to you. :)

  7. I got my interview date by phoning DoS today! 7th December at 8:30am.

The lady said they'd just received an update to their systems this morning with the information!

    Yippeeee!!

I wonder why I couldn't get December?? :crying: I'm happy happy happy for you J&T, just a little broken hearted as I wanted him home before Christmas.

I'm hoping to get there for christmas, I'm not financially able to at the minute but I'm hoping I can work my socks off to make it happen! If not it'll be in the new year :(

I think for the interveiw scheduling they go by some kind of priority date? I think it's the date you file but I'm not sure, I remember reading something somewhere a long time ago :bonk: That's not much help is it! lol.

Congratulations to everyone who's getting their dates today and good luck to everyone who's waiting!

  8. I'm a very nervous person and I was panicing a lot but it was soo easy! I had a female doctor and she wasn't rude as such but very to the point and no small talk.

Good luck and best wishes, I'm sat waiting for my interview date.

  9. So since I'm currently not so patiently awaiting on our "Packet 4" to arrive from London I was just wondering where they might be at calendar-wise as far as interview dates go.

Anyone with upcoming interviews what dates are they giving out?

I know the whole process can be compared to "how long is a ball of string" but it helps pass the time trying to work out when the big day might arrive - if that makes any sense.

We submitted Packet 3 info around 22 Oct and received Packet 4 with the interview date in the mail on Wed I believe. Our interview date is 18 Nov 09.

    Sunnylee, how lucky!

I sent my Packet 3 back on the 21st October by special delivery, It was received by them on the 22nd October and I haven't heard anything yet. I phoned tuesday to inquire about them receiving my Packet 3 and they told me that they'd sent it on October 6th but nothing saying they'd received it yet. Boo!! I've been quite happy up until now because I've always had a date to look forward to, but now it seems I'm back in limbo!

I'd definitely like a November interview date!

  10. I had my medical today and was pleasantly surprised! Here's how it went!

I managed to find it quite easily, I got off at bond street and there was a little map thing on the road so I looked that up for Bentinck Street. I only had to walk down the road a little, turn right down James Street then right again at Mandeville Hotel which was on the corner and I appeared at the right place! I pressed the buzzer for #4 and was let straight in.

I was greeted by a Lady with black hair - Her name was Lucy I think and she was very friendly and polite! I had all the vaccines I needed besides from HPV. She informed me that I didn't have to have this and I could get it done elsewhere if I wanted to look around at prices or even leave it till I arrived in the U.S. I asked her if it was possible to have it done there and [of course] she agreed! She explained the side effects, gave me two leaflets and a certificate then sat me down on the bed. It didn't hurt much just ached a lot [i hate needles!] and was over in a second.

She then went to check to see if the X-ray man was available [Not good with names here] and he was so she led me through to his room. He introduced himself, not sure what his name was but he was a shortish black haired man. He asked me to undress waist upwards and put the gown on. I have my nipple pierced so I asked him if this needed to be removed, he said if it's easily removed then yes please if not then it's okay! He asked me to tie my hair up so that it was off my back, then to stand against this metal plate with my chin resting on the top, I had to put my hands behind my back and hold this slightly heavy.. I'm not sure what it was really kind of a heavy cushion. I had to press my shoulders against the metal plate, breathe in and then it was over.

He asked me to grab my stuff and directed me to a waiting room. A different Lady came to get me and asked me to follow her. She directed me to a chair, introduced herself but once again I can't remember her name! She was a blonde lady, quite nice and quiet. Asked me a few questions, Did I drink/smoke/do drugs/ever been in hospital? She asked me to sign over my photo and sign another form, then asked me to remove my jeans, directed me to side of the wall for my height to be taken and then I was weighed. After this I had to read some letters from a board and then lay down on a bed. She shined a light in my eyes, asked me to open my mouth, felt my neck, stomach and then lifted up my underwear to check that "I was a girl". She said I could get dressed and when I was directed me back to the waiting room.. 2 minutes later I was called up to pay £310! £190 for the medical and £120 for HPV Vaccine, Handed a copy of the medical vaccinations form and they all wished me luck!

My appointment was at 10:50am and I was out of there by 11:25am.

  11. Sounds like you have everything! Awesome! We're dealing with the London embassy as well and I'm trying to get my I-134 stuff done (my mom is our co-sponsor). I just found out from another thread that we should mark #11 as "I intend". What is your fiance writing in the space provided? Just stating that you are going through the K-1 Visa process for permanent residence?

My fiance put "I will support my Fiancee Jasmin by whatever means I am financially able to"

His father put "I will provide room and board to Jasmin and Travis, until they are able to solely support themselves financially."

    :) Thanks!

    Hello!

    We're at the London Consulate.

    I-134 stuff.

Here is what the example forms shows to state:

    N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )

You may want to look further into any I Intend statement.

Yes the example does say that, although recently there has been quite a bit of discussion regarding the London Embassy/Consulate regarding this question and people having a few issues with the CO. I see no harm in answering "I intend" as they both intend to support me financially if need be, If the above response you've posted is the correct response then the question and answer would be disregarded as it is N/A. At least that's the way I see it.

    Thanks for your help.
