  1. Hi,

My question is: My nephew came over and is submitting the 864 like usual....his us citizen spouse is the main sponsor and her 1yr old. My husband and I are the joint sponsors being they don't make enough income. Are we counting in household 5 people or just 3 for household size, we DONT LIVE WITH THEM.

We as individuals make enough for 3 people ...but not for 5 without us combined together, which I believe the gov't doesn't consider I believe. How do we classify household size??

    Hellpppppp!

  2. Hi folks! My nephew and fiance are July filers, i'm helping them with being a co-signer, she asks me a lot of questions being I've gone through this 4 years ago being I immigrated my hubby here from England...Visa Journey's saved us big time with our questions/concerns and issues...so read up and lurk peoples timelines! It was a huge help. If anyone has any questions, you guys can ask me as well....Good luck guys! Plus we've made tons of friends on here!

    Allison.

  3. Hi there!

I was just going to ask almost the same question! Being i've been through this before 4yrs ago, not sure if stuff has changed, but for us, we're co-sponsoring our nephew from England, and I couldn't remember the form to use for the financials being on the embassy's website it didnt have the 134 on the list....is that also the form used for us co-sponsors too??

  4. Hello,

Was wondering if anyone has any experience on joint sponsors, our nephew met a American girl who doesnt meet the income requirements and we found out that we can be a joint sponsor for him, do you think SHE still has to meet the income guidelines even though she has us doing a joint sponsor form for them?

I remember 20 years ago I came in with a joint sponsor being my ex didnt make enough, but who knows if they need the primary to make it or not nowadays.

    Any feedback on this?

    thanks

    allison

  5. okay we got our noa2 for the k1 fiance visa a couple of weeks ago...the 1st of feb...today is the 14th and they have only just got it,but its not been updated in their system?

how much longer does that normally take?

and then on average any idea how long from them getting the pack to it being forwarded to the embasy? ours is london

Ok on average about a month, call the dept of state to see if they see if it went to London, those ladies know the drill, everyone phones them. #2 go on the london embassy site and download package 2 and GET BUSY and fill it out and send it to whomever in England and get their stuff going on their end on the crimional background stuff. Then they mail it when they get the embassy invite to send stuff. Have fun folks!

  6. Fiance ones are the I-134 and you give him that and package 2 forms which is on the London embassy website you can download there. Fiance is this one, you need to send him your financial stuff with that so he can show the London folks at the interview.

  7. Ok, here's what you do:

You need to mail a letter to the manufacturer of your vehicle and request a letter saying that your vehicle conforms to US-standards. Easy and free. Takes about a month/6weeks last time I did it, the damn border folks in Montana didnt know what to think of me but I sure showed them! Its FREE....no duty, just a letter. Have fun.

  8. I'm sorry, guys. You are not going to believe this.

    We are DENIED.

I will explain as soon as I can see straight. Basically, there was a miscommunication between the Congressman's office & Washington. I have the actual letter in my hand, and yes, we were denied and charged with misrep.

    I'm beyond distraught.

My jaw DROPPED...! #######?? pardon the text language...but..ya....thats just #######! If it were me, i'd take my life by the ear and hike on up to bloody Ireland...OMG.

  9. #1 you can actually go look for the link for package 3 that you can download the forms and mail them in. You can find that on this website and then go to the us embassy/england and go download them from there.

#2 you need a co-sponsor that is a us-citizen if he has no money and you better tell him to go find a job and fast. lol.

Thats about it. co-sponsor yes, download packet 3 without waiting. Get busy. :-)

  10. Well out here in Arizona, the nail techs have to be certified, so they have to take the course..etc, etc, then on average 35.00 to put nails on and 16.00 to fill them...which most women have filled 2x per month...so ya, good money considering the hours they put in...
