Do I need to send supporting documents with my I-485 and I-130?
If you are considering not using a lawyer, you're going to have to do a lot of research yourself as far as what's required. I recommend you start by reading the guides here on VJ.
If you're confused about anything, or don't want to put the work into it, and you have the money, then let someone else do it. If you're going to do it yourself you need to commit to a little hard work.

Keep us posted as to how it all works out for you.
It went fine, I didn't even get a phone call, which really surprised me! I worried for nothing.

We sent the whole statements.
-
We sent statements from each quarter or so, an average of 3-4 per year. We were fine with this. Good luck!
-
A lot of people don't have any, if they have a lot of good primary evidence. We only had one.

I need to take a drug test for a job I've been offered. I do take some prescription medicine that may show up on the test. I've been told that as long as I have a prescription I'm fine, and I do. I just freak out easily. I'm moving to a whole new city for this. :/
The test is at a freestanding testing facility, not the employer.
Help me stop freaking out? Maybe?

So you entered just before school started, and got married right after the semester ended? Did you actually complete a course of study? The other posters are right, this could raise some red flags, but we don't really have all the information. Be prepared for some hard questions, and have some good proof of bona fide marriage. File ASAP.

I can't really add anything else to this, except your list looks good. If you don't have time to file your 2011 taxes before you need to file ROC, don't worry about that. We filed for ROC in January and only had 2 years of taxes. We were fine.

The receipt letter is important, because this is the piece of paper that gives you the one year extension. If you did not receive this, you need to contact USCIS.

i called the clinic of a civil surgeon to set an appointment for the completion of my 1-693. they told me that they don't honor my medical i had in my country and i have to do another medical in their clinic. is this really the policy or some kind of rockets?
Has it been more than a year since the one you had?

FWIW, I've supported myself and my spouse on what is surely much less than what you (OP) would be making in your profession. We don't have health insurance at all, and we deal with it. We're certainly stretched, but we're not starving. I'm not recommending this as the ideal in any way, but you'd be surprised by what you can make work.
-
Husband too, if he knew all about this before the interview. He needs a lawyer as well, in case this gets referred to the Justice Department.
Why? I'm asking this genuinely.
OP has obviously screwed up here, but I do believe that some of the judgmental comments would be best left to OT. She's in a mess and she knows it, she doesn't need kicking while she's down.

You're definitely not the first.

You got your receipt notice in November, and you haven't received your biometrics appointment yet? This is way out of the normal time frame. You need to call USCIS to make sure this wasn't lost in the mail.
All of the receipt letters say that about sending in documentation. If you've already sent it, like most people do, it's nothing you have to worry about.
I would be concerned about the lack of bio notice though.

I was trying to figure out who these people were-then I saw the date.
-
Neither of our families was at our courthouse ceremony either, and it was never brought up. We did have pictures from the ceremony though.
-
Why would USCIS even care about a traffic violation?
-
If you obtain tax transcripts from the IRS, they have all the info USICS needs. For me personally, I found that simpler, rather than worrying about if I was sending all the right documents.
-
I don't know your situation, but if you've overstayed at all, don't bother with AP. You may receive it, but you won't be able to use it.
-
FWIW, my husband overstayed for over 10 years on VWP, and we had no problems with AOS. There was a similar story to yours (someone from Canada) who adjusted with no issues last year or so.
-
It's really not open to interpretation. The extension letter is a valid government document. It extends your GC for a year, period.
-
It is possible. Though I would suspect it is not a simple matter. And each case is different. However, at this point there is precedent.
See this from the Dept. of Justice, Board of Immigration Appeals >>>> http://www.justice.gov/eoir/vll/intdec/vol25/3707.pdf
That was interesting reading, however plodding. Am I understanding the interpretation right, that the "conditions" aren't the marriage itself, but the bona fide-ness of said marriage?
-
I can't see any reason they'd need that, I think they're confused. Maybe the extension letter? What state is this?
Which visa should I apply for?

This bears repeating. Consider the fact that you will have to prove bona fide marriage and you will have an interview.
