  1. Congratulations!!!!

Received my Welcome Letter in the mail yesterday, also today I received my EAD card in the mail.

Now,waiting for the GC..it says I will receive it within 3weeks...I hope it's true.

Congrats Bluemist, hopefully yours will come a bit more swiftly than mine. with regards to the adit processing, don't worry about it, its biometrics (sometimes people are approved before biometrics, however nowadays this is rare.) Just as a warning USCIS are currently warning us that GC's can take upto 8 weeks to arrive due to equipment upgrades, so if you need a temporary stamp you need to make an infopass and get them to stamp your passport, you can do this by taking approval documents with you.

  2. I bet it won't be but a few more weeks. In the meantime, force yourself to do something productive like paint the bedroom or something. hahaha

I say that because Nick has painted alot of stuff since being here. I know, when you're depressed it's hard to get off your a$$ to do anything. I've felt that way and you just can't get motivated or started. Don't give up and make your spouse take you out when he gets home. I'm sure he's tired from working but explain in a nice way you need a little out of the house time every day just to keep sane...just a little drive around to see something but four walls. Maybe you can work out a plan.

I second this, luckly i have disneyworld on my doorstep and as Terry works there i can go in for free so some days i will go into disney whilst he works and it helps. me keep sane, and with the economy being the way it is having work auth is obly removing the 1st barrier in the way.

  3. I had the interview 2 weeks ago - no card yet, even though the information on the site says that it was ordered in production on 15 May, and I got my Welcome notice on 21 May. Looks like really there are some delays though it mostly affected the ones who are removing the conditions (which is discussed in the link given above). But I know several people from the other forum who had their AOS interviews on first and second weeks of May and none got the physical GC yet  What surprises me is that there is no official information on USCIS site... If there going to be the delays why not to announce about it so that people are at least informed??? And now all we know are just rumours... Well, there is nothing to do but wait, and of course to call USCIS if there is still no card after 30 days from card production date.

am in same boat, card production for my aos was 12th May, recieved welcome letter but still no sign of the GC itself (my ead was also approved on the same day and arrived 2 weeks ago.

  4. I figure even though we've hit approved, I'll keep watching my online status for a bit, at least until it says card production ordered, so far it's still on welcome letter sent. There has been a touch today but no change otherwise (and no letter yet, but seems like that takes about a week to get to us from CSC so maybe thursday). My wife is going to apply at a telecommunications place today... it's not a great job... but it should be an easy job to get (call center) and keep her busy until she can get into something she'll enjoy. Still, wish us luck, one of the nice things is the call center is located right next to my work so sheer convenience would make that job a little nicer than many others.

Congrats on the approval, hopefully your green card will be a bit quicker coming in the post i recieved the welcome letter last week and still no sign of the green card and it was ordered the day after my ead and i've had that for 2 weeks.

  5. Well, I am not one of you all UK AOS'ers yet... but i had a q about transcribing the DS3025 onto I-693 by Dr. Arnold's services.

My fiance did not ask for any vaccinations at Knightsbridge and neither did he get them done with his GP because his GP was a pain in the ####### to deal with...so we decided to leave them for AOS here in the USA. So I know that his Knightsbridge medical is valid for 12 months from the date of the medical, but is it possible to get Dr. Arnold to transcribe the DS3025 AS WELL AS records of his required vaccinations done by a primary physician here in the USA(not a CS) both onto the I-693? Or do the vaccinations have to already be on the DS3025 from the Knightsbridge medical in order for Dr. Arnold to transcribe it all on the I-693?

As long as you send a letter from the doctor who administrated the vaccines in the USA for you to dr arnold, as well as the ds3025, they will transcribe it. I decided to have the HPV vaccine here in the US and they transcribed with no questions and my case has been approved.

  6. got an e-mail update today for my I485 to say that my card has been ordered

    Congrats Talyss!

AP and EAD arrived in post today. EAD was ordered day before GC so hopefully it will be in the post 2moz. lol

Such good news you posted it thrice! Congrats.

my pc crashed as i posted it, that must have something to do with it.

  7. Hello fellow March AOS filers,

My wife of 75 days received her GC yesterday. Very impressive anti-counterfeit measures built in. She especially likes her picture on the hologram on the back. After my SO was approved on a K-1 visa on Jan. 29, she entered the US on Feb. 9, we were married Feb. 26, and filed AOS on March 15. Our case was transferred to CSC with no interview. Lightning fast by USCIS standards. My theory is that with the recession, far fewer people can afford the $$$ to file their cases. That means that those who can scrape up the dough get de facto faster processing...

I noticed that the our cases (March filers) are going really fast. Faster than December, January and Feb. I don't know why... But im not complaining.

    I second the motion :)

I wonder how uscis process applications...

not in order or when they feel like it

seconded, but i think the fbi check makes it like that. maybe mine was approved quickly because my maiden name, family name and first name are all unusual and also the biometrics probably picked up i had a birth mark in my right eye. lol

true that could also be a reason, but it still doesn't explain why some people are still waiting on CSC that filed earlier than us.

  9. Hello all, it is possible that this is posted somewhere already but I am a little confused. Today we received an update from the USCIS saying that "card production" has been ordered. BUT we haven't received any notification of an interview date or of course, had the interview yet! Does this make sense at all? We know for sure that we have the right case number in the system. Any information would be appreciated.

congrats, i see we are both celebrating GC's mine was approved without interview yesterday as well!
