thanks, we will be with our love ones soon, goodluck to all of us, God bless

  2. ^Thanks.......BTW, is there like a flow-chart that shows the chain of events, and whats needed, that leads up to the visa? Is there a flow-chart on VJ? Theres alot of BS needed for this process and i feel like i dont know half of what i should to make this thing work smoothly!

click on the guides then look for K1 visa, steps for getting the visa are written there, if you have any more questions feel free to post

  3. Hi everyone,

As me and my fiancee await the NOA2, what documents/things can she be gathering up for the medical exam? What exactly will St. Lukes need from her? She is under the impression that when we get the NOA2, then she will start worrying about gathering those things for the exam. Is there anything she will need that might take a while to get? Should she start gathering that stuff up already?

    Thanks.

BTW, i'm thinkin the NOA2 will be here in a month or 2.

for her medical, she'll be needing the NOA2, passport, 3 pictures, previous medical records if she have one, and fee

for the interview she needs to present cenomar from NSO( it would take a week to get it if you requested it on-line), NBI(she could get it same day she'll request for it, Good luck

  4. hi, question, how did you find out that the embassy received your papers, did you call them? thanks

just track it on dhl website..

called nvc and been told that they forwarded my case June 16th, and when i track it with DHL, found only 1 case going to USEM Manila

so i assumed that it was my case...

ah ok, tnx for your reply, lapit na july ah

  5. Everyone, I need help. I'm joy, a K1 visa applicant who's now about to go through medical examinations.

I am aware that I was given TB medicines while abroad. Since it's not an English speaking country, I wasn't really sure. The doctor who prescribed didn't talk to me about my physical situation but I know I took medicines like miambutol, phenombutol etc... at least 5 kinds.

The only thing now is that I don't have any of those medical records and I don't even know how to go back to that doctor anymore..It's abroad and I lost contact with those people responsible for the human trafficking that happened to me.

Can I just deny this medical history since if Saint Luke's M.C will ask me of the records, I can't get any.^^

Will they find out that I took those medicines so i will be found out?

I had lymphatic TB i guess. I'm not really sure but the medication took 6 months and it's been 7 years ago since the last medication.

Help me please....Should I lie or tell them about this?

    Worried,

    joy

    [/quote

tb meds that are given to TB positive patients are ethambutol, rifampicin,INH, PZA and Vit B complex

I don't think it's a good idea to lie to the doctor regarding your medical history, if you received those medications then most likely you're cured already, SLEC will not fail you on your medical exam based on your past medical history, reasons that they don't give medical clearance are if you have any contagious disease(treated TB is not contagious anymore),and/or psychiatric disorders

for your peace of mind i would suggest you to have a Chext X-ray done before your medical examination at SLEC

  6. My unbelievable fiancee had a problem with her medical early last week because of a tattoo. She is so thoughtful to me that she "told" me after passing the medical that her rescheduled embassy interview was next July 3rd. Imagine my surprise when she woke me up in the middle of the night last night to tell me she passed her embassy interview and got the pink slip!!! Woohoo!!! She did this because she didn't want me to worry. Wow what a woman! She had called me a couple of nights ago and we were going over the paperwork. I tried to explain to her that we had plenty of time to organize and practice embassy questions, etc. I had no idea she was going to her embassy interview today (PH time). She'll get extra special treatment when she arrives in the United States in a couple of weeks *wink*wink* To all who are still toiling through the process just never give up and be prepared. To everyone here at Visa Journey this has been an incredible source of information and assistance. Thank you all!!! Now just a little more waiting until we can be together again!

    Best wishes,

    Grace & Steven

nice story,it amuses me, happy for you and your fiancee, congratulations

  7. Gud pm!can someone give me info about what we can bring...i'm not leaving yet but just thinking of what else i can bring.

I bought mga "anek-anek" from the middle east noon and went through the immigration coming back to the PI without any problem with my check in...Im owndering if its gonna be the same going to US.

I have a collection of perfumes i want to bring with me...some 75ml, some 150 ml, 30ml etc etc..

then have a more than 1L bath lotion i wanna bring too..huhuhu! as in i dont want to leave it behind..plus some 1000ml spray net..hehehe!!! (which i might need to use on my wedding and ayaw ko na bumili) ...what is the maximum allowed liquid sa check in? makakalusot kaya sa check in ito?

i'll be bringing too my electric sewing machine which weighs 13.2 kg...ok lang ba un?

about the hand carry...i'll have my laptop, my violin and un trolley which will be 7kgs...ok ba un? or i need to put my violin in the check in? i dont wanna leave it behind...

these are what worries me lng kung makakalusot...

    thanks for the inputs!

na amazed naman ako you play the violin,i admire people who play musical instruments specially violin and drums

well to answer your questions, ang alam ko pwede ang mga liquids pag naka check-in hindi pwede ang hand carry, some airlines allows less than 100 ml for handcarry kaya lang to be sure check-in mo na lang baka ipaiwan pa nila, inquire w/ your airlines kung ano ang weight limit ng luggage both for check-n and hand carry kasi it varies, i'm not sure kung for check-in ang violin, para atang nakakatakot i check-in,mas ok ata na hand carry
