Does anybody know how long does it take to be under AR for submission of non NSO birth certificate. I personally went to Pasay city already and requested NSO issued Birth Certificate, they told me they will send it directly to the US embassy the same day if not the following day. When should I expect embassy to call me?

Do not have answer for you. We got white slip for NBI and Cenomar so we are in AR also. Wife took care of the NBI and the cenomar. Her birth certificate had her last name misspelled and had been corrected 25 years ago. We sent in certified corrected B/C but they wanted also an NBI and Cenomar with that last name. She went back to the USEM the same day with new NBI and the Cenomar is supposed to be there tomorrow. How long we have to wait to get out of AR I do not know. She gave back the white slip and they took her passport. She is going to call tomorrow and at least once or twice a week to see. It is the only thing that is holding us up. I would not wait for them to call you.

we got white slip also yesterday 12/9 her birth cert had last name misspelled but was corrected a long time ago. She passed all the other interview stuff and she now needs the cenomar and NBI with the other misspelled name on the bc. She is manila still taking care of all that. She is tampo and apologietic about it all but HEY things happen we did not forsee this pickyness by the consul for that since the bc was corrected. Hoping to talk to her rather just just intermittent texts so I understand the whole thing.

Well we got a white slip. She needs a cenomar and another NBI. Reason being her birth certificate has her maiden name misspelled and they want an NBI with that last name and a cenomar also even though the birth certificate had been corrected. Wow that makes 3 NBI's. Oh well otherwise all went well and those papers will be delivered to USEM within 7 days and then she has the visa. Besides USCIS taking forever everything went smooth on the process so had to have a glitch somehow. She is fully processed and once the papers arrive they will be added to the file and the visa with her passport will be released.

Received email from NVC today, my interview is December 9, 2009 6.30AM.

Wow! Just woke up from a good night sleep and, presto, word came from NVC that my interview is set for December 14th in Manila. Best wishes to everybody!

OMG OMG it is really true figured it would be assigned today or monday but then again friday 13th always good luck to me. We even got married on friday 13th 8 months ago. Now just to figure out how the medical schedule assignment is done. Think I'll have her just go down there with the cover letter and her passport and any immunization records she has.

We are hoping for December also we will see. Our case complete 10/30 so we are a few days ahead of you philmae. Told you your case complete was coming soon and it did. Can't buy tickets until I see interview date and they are going up in price daily grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Might have to fly out christmas day and return later in January back to USA for POE to save some money. In just one week tickets went up $1,000 USD or 47,000 PHP each for dates to include christmas and new years. No way am I paying $5000 for 2 tickets.

Probably a rubber stamp. The signer for our I-130 at USCIS was a rubber stamp when we got the return receipt card back in the mail. NVC is alot busier.

Thank you ALL for the congrats. Was a long hard road getting through the USCIS 140 days and got a congressman involved as well. We had all the ducks in order for NVC and triple checked everything to prevent an RFE using the Ling Che and Jaime's shortcuts. We did pay the IV bill early which was not a problem to us although i see it has been for others, We got a false RFE on the DS230 as well but it worked out in a couple days after once it was entered into the system. Approx 11 days is what I was seeing from the date NVC acknowledged receipt of the DS230 per AVR until login failure. We were at 8 days so was actually expecting it on monday NOV 2. Wife is at grammar classes tonight so we will celebrate online tomorrow night. Will call monday AM and see if we have an interview date otherwise I guess we wait until they notify us when it is. Hang in there and be diligent make sure everything is in order and as requested. Yes it is confusing at times great folks here on VJ to help.

I'm happy for you, kaushalia! Glad to hear that payment problem has been fixed.

I called the AVR this morning (9:30AM) and found out that I have RFE coming my way. I expected the Police Certificate to be missing and hope that is the only thing. The PC is has been mailed to me from the beneficiary on 10/22 and should be here any day now.

We got one also. 99% sure it is false RFE for us. The DS230 is at NVC but not entered into the system per the operator so they have sent RFE looking for the DS230 info. I talked to them Friday she said wait until Monday and see if it entered yet although the AVR says they sent a checklist out already dated 10/22. Sort of confused a bit but I think the operator was correct that the DS230 is not in the system yet because they get thousands of mail a day.

i was just wondering if we need to write our DOBs on our own cover sheets when sending our AOS / IV packages? or is this template/sample enough? I-864 Cover Letter Sample

We didn't but I did not even think about. It would not hurt anything. That is the same template we used also. Some items we deleted because they did not pertain to us as far as papers to send. I-864 template accepted with no DOB's we used the I-864EZ form becoz we needed no co-sponsors. Write your NVC case number though on all items sent to NVC upper right hand corner neatly.

We are now just waiting for them to enter our DS230 into the system. It is in the building but not entered the system. This has caused a false RFE for missing DS230 documents.

I just checked my AVR and it said that checklist was generated on October 21. NVC received my DS-230 last Friday but the operator said that he could not see anything in the system. I am wondering if anyone else got same message with AVR? I have no idea what checklist the AVR was telling me about.

Sounds like a false RFE... Happens when there is a lag time between the acceptance of your AOS package and 230 being accepted...

Yes it is a false RFE I just got off the phone with NVC because I got the same thing and because of the lag times between paying IV bill and receipt of DS230 documents it creates a RFE which is false if you have sent in the DS230 already. Operator said they get thousands of pieces of mail daily and it takes time to enter the info into the system. She also told me if I am still concerned to wait over the weekend and check the AVR or talk to an operator on Monday to check status. Of course I will choose to talk to the operator. This also is of course you sent in all required documents they requested otherwise it is a real RFE.

Totally unreal RFE for DS230 packet. Have receipt and track number and who signed for it they are saying they don't have it. Funny it was delivered 10/20 at 11AM and they sent RFE letter out 10/20 per AVR and I got an email also today 10/22 asking for it. Will call operator tomorrow and clear this up. Maybe it is false RFE since I paid IV bill without waiting for the email but was able to print cover sheet after the $400 showed paid and next day mailed it. Oh well has gone smooth at NVC until this nothing like USCIS hell was and the long wait not knowing anything for 140 days and still watching my fellow april filers flounder because they will not contact a senator or congressman like I did.

We are on the same track got IV bill also today not by email though I checked NVC AOS/IV bill page and it was ready so I paid immediately of course Not going to waste a second to be reunited with my wife. Just happened to take a quick look before turning off computer before work and there it was. I had only looked 30 minutes before and not there yet. Trying to get this all done to go get her over the christmas/new years holiday since we will be closed 2 weeks during that time and no vacation time will be needed to go.

Salam Allykum everyone, just wanted everyone to know that we got two touches, one on 10/3 and 10/5, and now today or rather yesterday 10/13 we finally got our NOA2 approval notice in the mail! Allhumdiallah. Now on to NVC, and paying lots more money. But at least we got our first part approved, now if only my husband can remain calm at the interview.

I wonder how many more April filers are left?

I Just got an email from NVC (nvcinquiry@state.gov) today (10/06/2009). There are two emails; first one is DS-3032, second is DS-3032 & Affidavit of Support (AOS).

Now...I got DS-3032 again on the second email? Does anyone of you has this? I know you will say...just ignore the first one and throw it away. I'm just curious. I hope it just a mistake.

Anyway, I paid $70 for AOS fee online and emailed DS-3032 to nvinquiry@state.gov today. Should I mail out the DS-3032 hard copy too?

Randy most likely the second one was a carbon copy that was sent to your wife. I received 2 also and when I looked at whom it was addressed to one was to her and one to me. Hers being the carbon copy. Hope this helps. I kept both emails because they are a bit different each.

I'll jump in here we are a bit late to join the Sept crew although NVC received 9/29 by the time the ball starts rolling it is Oct and yes already have NVC number(took 15 days) and gave the emails just waiting for emails back so we can get started and be $470 poorer but richer in love.

Hey guys, I just wanna know, usually, how many days before NVC receives your case after the NOA-2 hardcopy arrival on your mail?

We got the NOA-2 on Sept. 27,2009 but until now our case is not in the NVC sysytem.

We are at 2 weeks today 9/28 with a notice date of 9/14 and still not received at NVC. I do call NVC everyday. They say call back next week or could be up to 90 days but the normal the lady said was 2 to 3 weeks. Fortunatley I've had a different person everyday to talk to.

I totally understand, it seems that when they all left to do the work visas in April/May, when they came back, they went right to June and left the boxes of April and May still in the boxes.... Try to keep positive and think that they will get to them really soon, because looking logically (I know, it is not logical at the USCIS) but go with me here... logically, they should want a bunch of people filing complaints for being late and they do not want to have to report at the end of the year what happened as they are judged by performance and the number of approvals.... Soooo I really hope that they start rolling for the "forgotten ones". Best of luck

Hopefully soon you you will you were ahead of us but looks like the RFE set you back a bit as well as Brian and Donna in Las Vegas. We would have got one but in further review of our paper work after we sent it in I noticed a problem and mailed a correction. Never got a touch on that so was not 100% certain it was put with our file but now I kow it was.

Wow, i didnt know the US postal service delivered on Sunday, your state is so cool. We dont have Sunday delivery in Ohio. Congratulations and best wishes for a good rewarding interview.

They don't deliver on Sunday it is just when I got the mail I was away at a car show on Saturday. Amazes me 2 touches on a sunday and the NOA2 is dated on a Sunday though. Was really hoping not to have to get to see the new USCIS website and only got to see a bit of it fortunately. Nothing super special about Idaho except the lack of people which I like.

Being that you have hit the 5 month mark, you can call and file an inquiry into your case...

Nope... 5 months, I would statr a-dialin...

Should not have to wait 5 months when June filers being approved left and right!!!!! All those touches for us and nothing!!!! Not even an RFE. It just is not right they skipped a bunch of March and April filers. We will be at the 5 month mark Sept 27. Well we also got a touch today that is 5 now in the last week. Not sure what all that means how many times they need to look at it. Either RFE or approve it already. We need to move on soon. Sorry to complain on getting touches but still frustrating especially to the wife.
