    Well, las vegas is looking pretty grim with no hope of change, poor school system, highest unemployment in the nation and leds the nation in housing market forclosers etc. So after our babyboy is born looks like we will be leaving this area.(sad to say)because ive been here for 20 years. We are looking for a change and greener pastures to raise our boy. Does anyone live in or know where a good place for (filippina friendly) to raise a family in northcarolina? Any help is appreciated.

    This is not las vegas but its worth a look. :ot:

    Kirsteen was finally moving from the philippines to lasvegas nevada. She was booked on hawaiian airlines by telephone from lasvegas.I just put the ticket in her full name as it appears on her passport. At the airport in manila we paid 2800 pesos for the travel tax. Then 750 pesos for the airport tax. Hawaiian airlines dont charge for baggage. She picked up her ticket at the manila airport and flew to honolulu. Went thru immgrations and customs in about an hour then picked up her luggage because she had to recheck for the domestic flight to lasvegas. Kirsteen was treated great and I would advise anyone to use them. I spent about $880.00 for the ticket. So If you can spend a little extra $$$ its less of a pain only using one stop instead of using multipal stops when getting your fiance home. All in all this was a good experience for us. Thanks and good luck with you trips.

    my port of entry in hawaii went very smooth...

    1) the first thing you will do is while you are flying you need to fill out a form I-94 because you will submit that in your port of entry.

    2) you need to prepare your yellow envelope, I-94 and your passport and they will collect it.

    3) they will let you wait for a minute.

    4) they will call your name and they will ask some questions like what the emabassy asked you.

    5) after that they will put stamp on your passport and I-94 and they will tell you that they will give you 90 days and you need to get married and file AOS...

    that's it get your luggage and welcome to las Vegas nevada and enjoy the 100 degrees weather..

    tell your finacee that go to taiwan embassy and they will give her s form and they will instruct her how to get a police clearnce. or if she has a friends in taiwan she can ask a favor if they can get police clearance for her. just tell ur fiance that go to taiwan embassy and get a form there and send it to her friend that will get a police clerance for her and send money too it will cost 500 pesos in philippine money to that clearance..

    i've been working in taiwan before and i just send money to my friends and send that paper that i got in taiwan embassy after a week i have my police clearance..

    Hello guys!

    I will be having my medical on March 24, 2010 and my interview will be on April 5, at 7am...My fiancee will be there for me to support me all the way...

    I have a question.. My fiancee and I will meet at Manila Airport but we don't know where we can meet... His flight is International while mine is Domestic or Local (our plane is Philippine Airlines) ... It will be our first time to go there in Manila... Can you suggest any place or area in the airport that we can meet?

    my suggestion is why dont you pick him -up at the international airport at the arrival area. just get a cab going to international airport and meet your fiance at the waiting area in arrival. because domestic and international is very close ... and just check the flight of your fiance in the tv screen at the airport

    that is true..because its the satisfaction of ur answer to the consule..here are the questions that was asked to my mom that day?

    - how much monthly income u earn in a month/ yearly?

    - how long are u planning to stay in US?

    - purpose of travel?

    - why are the parents not coming home to pick up sophia?

    - do u have pending petition?

    - where are u gonna stay?
