Well we are going to get our tax transcripts for 2011 explain why she isn't on lease for 2011, submit the new lease we just signed for our new place. Plus 5 affidavits. I am not sure what else I could possibly submit.

Joint Bank Account Statement

Lease with Both names on it signed end of 2012.

They stated that we have to submit a information for the first year my wife entered in the US which was 2011.

But the lease at that time only had my name on it although she was living there. I am not sure what else we can submit from 2011 to show a bonafide marriage. They specifically requested the lease for 2011.

What other options of evidence can we send?

One thing I'd be weary about taking the Grey Hound is the bus does not wait for you. The Cr-1 process can take over an hour. You could easily miss your bus. Be careful!

Hey so my Green Card Came today super fast. But I still haven't received my SS card yet. When I went to the SS office they told me it will come from immigration. Is it normal for the GC to come before the SS? Is there a way I can get it with out waiting?

I wouldn't try though until you have STRONG ties. Once denied you are flagged in the system for a few months.

On our way back down the elevator (which is eerily quiet) we were like thats it? Couldn't believe it was so anticlimatic.

How long would you wait after POE to go to SS office to apply for card?

Vanessa you will be just fine. I always suggest bring as least as you can, but bring everything necessary. My wife didn't bring her purse rather she packed her little lip gloss and things in her jacket pocket, and we carried our documents by hand, but you can also use a shopping bag. You will be fine TRUST ME.

Also to everyone who who interviewed yesterday when I was at the Embassy I actually saw your passports being mailed out! You should all get them soon. I saw the DHL man picking them up and a bunch of envelopes!

As many of you have said, the whole process was a breeze and the interview was very anti-climatic. It literally took less than 10 minutes. I'll give full review later on, time for breakfast and maybe a nap.

You do not get any email notification. If u login to the website and it shows which branch you registered with, than that is it. You dont have to do anything else.

You are good relax lol.

You will receive your green card in the mail in a few weeks.
