  1. Call the NVC or DOS and tell them what happend and ask them why because he never got a paper or information stating why. They should have given him a paper explaining it. I think calling them to find out is the best idea.

    I called dos and they said that they dont know why uscis asked that the petition be returned to them, and also i called nvc and they said that they have no information.

  2. my husband went for interview on nov 6, 2009 and we had to return the medical back to the us embassy, well we did that and they said that we will call you when the case is complete. Well on yesterday the embassy called my husband and told him he should come to the embassy with his passport, when he get to the embassy on today and they hand him a letter stating that they were sorry that they could not issue a visa because he found ineligible and they said that nvc has requested that his case be returned back to the uscis. They gave him no reason why they asked for it either. Can someone tell me what does this mean when uscis ask for your case to be returned???

  3. Hi everyone here is some information on why they would deny you at your interview. I was looking up information and this is what i found on the uscis website. I hope this information is helpful, i know it was helpful to me.

    On the other hand, a marriage which was contracted solely for immigration purposes does not confer benefits under the Act. A number of factors may raise questions about the intent of the marriage, and therefore necessitate more in depth questioning (see Chapter 15 regarding interviewing techniques), or even a field examination (see Chapter 17 ) or an investigation (see Chapter 10.5(d) ). Some indications that a marriage may have been contracted solely for immigration benefits include:

    • Large disparity of age;

    • Inability of petitioner and beneficiary to speak each other's language;

    • Vast difference in cultural and ethnic background;

    • Family and/or friends unaware of the marriage;

    • Marriage arranged by a third party;

    • Marriage contracted immediately following the beneficiary's apprehension or receipt of notification to depart the United States;

    • Discrepancies in statements on questions for which a husband and wife should have common knowledge;

    • No cohabitation since marriage;

    • Beneficiary is a friend of the family;

    • Petitioner has filed previous petitions in behalf of aliens, especially prior alien spouses.

  6. Hi everyone, my husband sent me the denial slip, and it stated that our marriage was for immigration purposes only. I dont understand where they got that from, i am just still so upset, the guy that interviewed my husband didnt even give him a specific reason, he was just picking things out of no where and then he said we cannot issue you your visa at this time. I called the senator and he said that there is nothing they could do until it comes back to the states, and that we would probably have to re apply. I called a lawyer and they didnt return my call today, i emailed the embassy, they havent emailed me back yet, i dont know what to do next!!!

  7. really sad right now my husband was denied his k-3 visa, they said that our marriage was for immigration purposes only, how stupid could they be, they had all of the information, everything is correct, and we had alot of evidence also, they said they were sending the case back to the states for possible revocation, can someone tell me what to do.

  8. im comfused in what to do, recently we got approved for both the I-130 and the 129-f and we were going to originally go with the 129-f and nvc just sent me information for me to pay a 70 dollar fee and send in ds-3032 and they are also sending my husband the ds230. I am just wondering why are they sending me info on the I-130 and not the 129-f.

    Does anybody have any idea, i am totally lost.
