I sent mine, also, i sent the welcome letter....and i can tell you, that my process is going well!

did you mention it in the covering letter that you are enclosing it or u just kept it as the attachment to I751

I forgot to enclose the cut off section from the paper the 2 year GC was enclosed, it said to use the cut off section to speedyour application for an extension or replacement of card. is that ok? did anyone mailed the I751 without that and received the 10 GC

I am ready to send the required I-864 form with all supporting docs. My question is since I am filing for my wife and son will I have to submit two separate I-864 Forms. What has me confused is that I filed two separate I-130s, which makes me believe I would have to file two I-864s but when making a payment it was just one for $70. Which the NVC mention would cover both forms. Can someone share their advice. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

you must have received two different covers from NVC for your wife and son, so it is better you send two seperate I 864 for each person, they maintain two different files for each person.

can you please help me, since you got the 10 yr GC, pls tell me how did you arranged all the documents for I751 ,did you put them in a folder or can we tie all the papers together before putting in a file, and should the photos be kept in album, i have more than 50 sheets of paper so don't want to miss any while they open the cover

One person previously mentioned this idea and I liked it so here is the comment about the tax returns. If you haven't filed 2009 and would like to provide some evidence about it, you can include a copy of the W2s which should show your address on them, and you can include in your cover letter a comment that you are in the process of filing for your 2009 tax returns but haven't done that yet before filing your ROC application.

Another VJ member included a copy of their census form - do you still have it? Not sure if it will make a difference though.

You don't need to be tense about this since you are still married and you are still living with your spouse, and these are the two conditions that matter a lot.

You can do a single check - I just finished ROC for myself and daughter, no need to separate the fees.

I am preparing the form I751 for ROC, my 90 days timeframe started on March 14th 2010.

I have only the following evidences ready,planning to send it this week so very tensed.

1.tax transcripts of 2007&2008 filed jointly(Q:2009 is not yet filed, will file this month end, i am confused ,should i wait to send the I751 for one more week or should i send it without the 2009 tax returns)

2.birth certificate of the newborn baby and her US passport

3.credit card statements with name of both of us.( from the date i came to US)

4. bank statement of our joint account(Q. since my hus use this account for his business transaction the mailing address on the bank statement is my husbands office address and not our house address, will it cause any problem)

5.medical insurance with the name of all of us,including my daughter and the new born

6.vehicle insurance with names of both of us(my car is shown as the vehicle for his office so no joint property)

7.no lease deed ,since he had is own house before i came to US.

8.AHS home maintenence contract with names of both of us

9.electricity bill with his name

10.cable TV bills with name of both of us but only for the last 4 months, previously it was only in his name

11.international calling arrangement with startec with both the names but only for last 4 months

12.driving lisence of both of us with the same address on it.

13.e-tickets of some holiday trips together.

14.photographs.

That is all , no joint property, no joint vehicle, and no joint utility bills. is that OK

Since you are in the US (and not out of the country on military orders for example), you will do your biometrics at the local Application Support Center (ASC) - there won't be any fingerprints card(s) to mail in.

I would put $545 for you and a separate check for $80 for daughter. How old is she?

I came to US on CR1 along with my daughter on june 14 2008, and from this month, 14th march 2010 i am eligible for applying for removing the conditional residency. while reading the instruction for filing the form I 751 i came across the FORM-258 the finger print card. here is where i need the help,instruction says it has to be obtained for USCIS office, what is the procedure for that and how long will it take to get thefinger print card.

Also should is it a must that i sent affidavits from our friends along with the I751.

can i write one single cheque for the form fee and two biometrics fees($465+$80+$80=$625) or two cheques of $545 for me and $80 for my daughter.

I believe the I-751 allows you to include her in it.

What Initial Evidence Is Required?

Permanent Resident Card You must file your petition with a copy of your Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Card, and a copy of the Permanent Resident or Alien Registration cards of any of your conditional resident children you are including in your petition. Submit copies of both front and back sides of the card.

There is a spot in the form to include your children.

As for filing confirm if March 14th is 90 days before your GC expires which I assume is Jun 14th 2008 (listed on your GC). March 14th might be 91 or 92 days before the expiration so if you aren't sure just mail it a week or so later like March 21st. Just remember it must be mailed BEFORE Jun 14th 2010.

I played it safe and got a little lazy and filed it just recently which is about 60 days before expiration.

thankyou for clearing my doubt. my GC expires on june 14 2010, i think there is no problem for me to visit my country for 2 week before that date.

You can file 90 days before the 2 year expiration date of you GC. Put daughter in part 5 of the I-751. o need a separate form.

DON'T file late. That's is after your GC expires.

Just remember it must be mailed BEFORE Jun 14th 2010.

Actually USCIS goes by date of receipt NOT mailng. Some people have got in deep the dakine for mailing late. One even mailed 2 weeks early and the submission arrived a couple days late.
