  1. I just checked the status online ad it says that they have ordered the EAD card on June 29th. There was a touch on the AP but it was not approved or else. There was also a touch on the 11th for the AOS.

Did you guys receive a second notice when california received the application? or just the notice that the case was transferred?

Is it safe to apply for jobs now?

    congratulations to all

  2. I got the notice on the mail( not email) that our cased was transferred to the CSC. How Long does it take until we receive the interview date or approval or denial (had to write it ).

When they transfer to CSC, does it mean that we won;t have an interview.

I am kind of tired of staying home. I would like to start applying for jobs, but until I don't get the approval, I do not want to in case i find one and I cannot provide the documents.

  3. HI yall ok a couple questions my I129f has been sent to frankfurt germany but whe have not recived packet 3 from them so right now im bustin but gitin my stuff ready and shes workin on her paper work so what forms does she need duplicates of and what forms need to be sent right away? and then for any one whos been through frankfurt consulate what documents do they want at which window this way i can seperate the packet for her so its easy to handle. (IE, 1 window passport, invite, recipt of payment, second police records birth certificates of both petioner and benificerary.....)

You can download all the information you need from the Frankfurt consulate website.

They will send you a letter referring to the following:

    http://germany.usembassy.gov/root/pdfs/visa/instructions_for_fiancee_-visa_applicants01-2008.pdf

My suggestion is that you make the folders based on the instructions above.

You will go to 3 different windows. YOu will have time to arrange all the documents once you are there because they allocate time for that(they give you instructions there on how to do it)

Tip: At the consulate entrance there are two lines. Get in the one in the right. The other one is for student visas etc.. Do not ask the officer which line, cause he will tell you that you have to go to the long line.

Most important bring patience with you....

  4. Hi,

IN what status did you last enter?

Nonimmigrantvisa number? where do I find it. there is a number on the visa but is not called visa nummber.

    form I765:

    Question 15: Current immigration status?

    Form I864

On question 10. Do we enter only 1 or 0. I am the only one being sponsored.

    Part 5 Sponsor HOusehold size.

This is her parents house, do we have to include them too?

    21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

    Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

    a. Enter the number you entered on line 10. If i Enter 1

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

    b. Yourself.

    e. If you have any other dependents, enter the number here.

    c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse. We are married, but if we enter 1 then the total becomes 3. So do we leave this blank?

She only has 1 tax return because she was a student before, Do we just attached a copy of the Diploma?

    Thank you for your help.

  5. Servus

Hi I am having a problem and I think you may help me here. I had my medical in Frankfurt but they never gave me a paper..

I just have a white sealed envelope that reads that it contains a medical exam. The envelope is from the embassy. and it says do not open.

I will file for AOS when I am in the states,(k-1) will I still need to get the I-693 do you remember how you did it?

    Danke,

    MFG

  6. I am not sure if I need the I-693.

When I did my medical examination, I got all the vaccines and the doctor game a sealed envelope saying that I would need that for adjustment of status.

The envelope has a stamp that says:

"DO NOT OPEN THIS ENVELOPE - It contains a copy or your medical examination.

Please provide it to USCIS when requested in conjunction with your adjustment of Status"

Do I still need to submit the I-693.

In order to plan in advance I called the Doctor to make an appointment for the day after I arrived, and They asked 200$ just to fill it out, and if I need vaccines 350$. Is this normal? I was reading the master tread and it says that it cost like 50 to 60$.

    Please advise.

    Thank you./

  7. ok We are almost there. I flying to the USA in 3 weeks. Do you have some tips.

What paperwork do you need at the POE? What kind of questions do they ask?

any special tips? POE is JFK. I read the reviews, but I am still not confident.

What about AOS, we plan to send it on the first week. any advise etc

    thank you.

  8. So I have decided not to get her.because we will have to move once we are in the usa and for now we will just stay in the apt. ( paying 1100 for 1 bdr apt) but we won;t be able to afford a house since I will not be allowed to work. \Now that I think about it the k1 was a mistake andl we should have done the one where you get married first.

Some of the things I learned:

-Cost of travel. If the dog can fit in a IATA nr 5 crate or smaller the cost is 150 euros with lufthansa if you travel together. if you need a bigger crate iata 6, 7 etc, it will be 300 euros.

-You will just need a proof of vaccination and a certificate from the veterenary saying that the dog is healthy. You will need to have the rabies shot 30 days before you arrive to the usa. If it is a puppy less than 3 months old, you can sign a waiver where you promise to keep the puppy at your premises for 30 days from vaccinations. So basically you have to keep the puppy at home until 3 months, then get the shots, and then wait another 30 days. If there is an inspection and the dog is not there, you risk paying up to 250 000 $ in fines.

-You should crate train your dog for at least 1 month prior to the flight.

In the end, this can be done

  9. Hi,

There is a specif reason why I want the puppy. For me coincidences in life are very important. I believe in "that happened for a reason". SO something happened and I thing she will make us happy back in the usa.

With regards to the price, I have also checked and the price will be higher in the USA. Plus If I do not get this one, I won;t probably get one when I get there.

I have already tormented the airline like 5 times today. And I have been to a pet shop to look at crates. Lufthansa seems to be on top of things on cargo and they have explained me all the cost etc. Nevertheless, we would "both" need to go though customs I think.

I will fly to JFK. I am sure that it will take at least 2 hours to go though customs for me. So the poor thing will be waiting and waiting. So I was wondering if anyone went through this and can give me any tips.

    Thank you.

  10. There are thousands of people that want to leave the country where you want to go back to. That was the most beautiful country ever. La sucursal del cielo, con la sultana del avila bella, con los llanos, con las playas, con la gente, y con su comida, las hallacas, pan de hamon, cachitos, malta, susy y cocosette. Bueno amiga, eso ya no existe.

It is difficult to get used to another country, another life, but once you leave a life behind, that life keeps changing. Once you leave that life behind for so long, that life becomes a different life, that is not yours anymore.

    Gloria al bravo Pueblo.

  11. My fiance got  his visa last week and we have been making plans for the upcoming months. He currently has a job, and trying to save some money before he comes here. So he had been planning on staying there for another few months.

Would it be possible to keep his current employment (he can work from home) when he comes to the USA? His salary would still be deposited in europe etc. If he can do that then he could come to the US earlier than planned.
