I need to reschedule my hubby's interview schedule but when i called the USEM, they said my hubby's file is not with them yet. Per the AVR, the file was sent to USEM april 10, 2009. Is there a tracking number or will the AVR state if USEm already have my hubby's file? I just want to make sure first before I call the USEM as it cost money everytime I call them. Thanks!

hubby will have his medical soon. what tests are done? I know there will be xray for tuberculosis, vaccination and blood test for HIV.. anything else? Is there a drug test? PLease let me know. Thanks!

my hubby's interview schedule is sept 22. case completed on july 21. Got the good news on July 26. Which means it's not always true that NVC only schedule every 2nd week of the month coz we got ours on the last week of July already. I guess it really differs by country and that 2nd week of scheduling is just the standard answer from NVC. For all those waiting for the schedule, just keep on calling NVC... Good luck and hope u'll be reunited with ur loved ones soon! ;-)

Hello Kababayan's! I'm just trying to get an estimate for my hubby's arrival here so I know what date to reserve for his ticket. When you had your interview, when did you get the visa? My hubby's interview is on Sept 22. We were targeting an October 3 arrival in the US. Is 8 days enough time from his interview date. Do u think he will get his visa by then? Please share your experience. Thanks! BTW, my hubby lives in Manila area.

I was just wondering how many days on average does it take from the moment when NVC receives DS230 (scanned into system) to completing the case, assuming there are no RFE? Anyone whose case was completed very recently in July?

mine took 13 days...i saw in other posts that they have the same experience. the average processing is 2 weeks if there's no RFE.

when my case completed i called after one day to NVC

they gave me the interview date

my date is august 18th

My wife's IR1 case was completed on 07-10-2009. No interview date yet. :-(

Our case just got completed today. The operator said we need to wait 2nd week fo August for the interview date as they dont schedule anything now at all...Dont u hate it that u cant plan anything because of this ( buying tickets etc.)?

Those who completed their cases at NVC and is just waiting for interview sched, pls post your timeline here to give others idea as to how long this journey takes

It's definitely not a rule that they only schedule during the 2nd week. My case was completed in middle of the third week and we had our appointment letter two days later.

It depends on the embassy though. NVC needs to wait until they're notified of the availability of interviews before they can start scheduling. I guess some embassies let them know earlier than others.

case completed as of this morning. For those who got their cases completed on the 3rd week of the month, how long did it take for NVC to send u an appointment letter? Is it true that I need to wait on the 1st or 2nd week of the month before I get a schedule? Can the operator schedule something for me? I just really want to know how much more time we need to wait. mine was done in 48 hours, i called the next day and operator told me i have a good news for u and she gave me the interview date.

just make sure call them tomorrow and day after tomorrow

Log in failed this morning. I just want to get an idea as to how long our case will be completed. Also, after case completion, how long do we need to wait for an interview notification.. This waiting game is just killing me. Is first week of September interview possible? Please share your thoughts especially those who had their cases processed in the Philippines. Thanks!

I got the same message from the AVR, no email no letter in the mail nothing. The operator also said it was probably just them finishing the AOS and not having started the IV package yet. If it is a real RFE the operator should be able to see what's missing. I think you've got nothing to worry about. My case was completed about a week after the false RFE.

Same here RFE... AOS finished and ds-230 not entered into the system yet. The RFE is autogenerated. Mine cleared up after the DS-230 was entered.

I called NVC today. PEr the AVR, NVC sent an RFE to me last July 13. For those who received an RFE, how did u get it? via email or snail mail? I didn't receive any email from the NVC. Would the operator know what document is missing that needs further evidence? I called a live operator and said that there is nothing showing in her system. She said it's possible that the RFE was generated before the received the DS230 package. I just want to know ahead of time what document is needed so I can send it right away. For those who successfully completed their case, did u receive an RFE? Is this really part of the process. Perhaps I am hoping that this is a False RFE based on what i read from the previous threads. I appreciate any light on this. Thanks!
