My interview was on 11/30 and I still didnt get the oath invitation. I just checked my online status which is totally not up to date ( dated 11/25, says that my interview has been scheduled). Is this normal? Whats the average wait time?

Here we are discussing ONLY about the citizenship. N-400 application. Specially this thread. For N-400 you do not have to show any joint document. Good luck.
This thread is ONLY for N-400 applicants. I think you are not N-400 applicant.
Well my dear friend if you can check the list you are gonna find out that I am there, which means I have submitted N400 in the month of July and my interview date is coming soon so thats why I am asking questions about the interview. Is that ok with you?

? Whats gonna happened then? One more question. They ask you to bring some papers with you, basically the same stuff you already sent. Do I need to bring originals or copies? -
How does the interview looks like? they ask you a question and you have to come up with the answer or they give you answers and you have to pick the correct one? How long does it take?

So we went to the Infopass appointment this morning to both get a passport stamp for travel and ask again why the green card hasn't arrived in +60 days. Lady says that as far as she can tell, and she says she doesn't know why, the approval was actually just one week ago, Oct 21, not August 19 like it said in the letter they sent us a month ago. But she says the paperwork is now on its way to get the green card. I've heard that before. So we got the passport stamp. They won't let you keep the temporary green card if you get the passport stamp, so we had to surrender the GC. The passport stamp is good for one year and indicates temporary permanent residence status as well as work authorization.
My case got approved on 09/25 and I received GC today. I was really stressed out and I guess all that was for nothing cuz GC finally arrived
It looks totally different than the temporary one and its actually green jlogajan good luck

Hey guys, my status has changed in the USCIS website, where it says "On October 5, 2011, we ordered production of your new card...". From March 15 to October 5 is 10 days short of 7 months.
Happy to be part of this visa journey with all of you. See you soon in the citizenship forum. For those waiting, be patient...it will come through soon!

Dont hesitate to call them. I was waiting almost 3 month for biometrics appointment so I called them asking what was going on. I got connected with some weird women who was talking about 2nd interview. I just ignored the cuz i didnt even have 1st interview. Call them ASAP

Well, I FINALLY got to go for my biometrics appointment yesterday! It was pretty painless. There were a lot of people waiting for ASC appointments but hardly anyone with infopass appointments.
New Orleans definitely does not accept walk-ins. I arrived an hour early and had to wait until 12 for them to call 12 o'clock appointments before they would even let me have the paperwork to fill in! They only had two machines to do the fingerprints on. Does anyone else remember how many there were at theirs? Seems like Nola needs some more!
NOLA doesnt accept walkins at all. I tried to do mine a week before and they mistreated me so bad. Hate those ppl, they think they are better than you and the way how they talk to u its just unbelievably rude, especially the manager. I went back a week before and totally different story, nice, friendly ppl and I didnt have to deal with that stupid manager women ughhh!

I tried to do early biometrics and I got cursed by the manager and other lady.

Go to another doctor. I m pretty sure there is some mre in NYC and tell him that you only need vaccinations. He cant force you to do everything. You re paying for what you want.
In the i-485 is said that if you came on K1 visa you only need vaccinations so print it out and bring with you.

You have to get married within 3 month, but you can mail AOS package later, not a big deal. It's better to do it before your visa expire but if you do it after you still good/

You should also take your marriage licence if you want to have SSN card with new last name.
As we all know everything is up to the person who you are talking to. They might not give you SSN cuz you are not allowed to work so GOOD LUCK

Ok, so I got a CRIS email this morning saying that on June 12, 2009 they ordered GC production. We had a touch today (June 15) on the I485. Of course, we had both of those things right after our interview on May 13... and the status message used to say May 13, now its June 12. Anyone else get a similar update? I am wondering if this is a good sign that card production is about to actually take place for us, or if this is some signal of a further card production delay and we should expect to wait a couple of months from now to actually get the card.
I had the same with EAD. It didnt change anything. I received card after 10 days

My civil surgon marked the same:
Vaccine History Incomplete
Applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver(s) because vaccination(s) not medically appropriate (as Indicated Above)
He did that b/c i got only first shoots of MMR and Hepatitis. After one month i got another doze and he marked that "completed". I've sent the first one (with incomplete) and he told me that i migh need the second one on my interview. My case was transfered to Califironia so i hope that i m not gonna have one. I m still waiting for aproval but i m not woory about vaccination, i m more consered about that seald enveloped left at the airport which might got lost

You'll guys ahve to wait for EAD and then get DL. You can use your international DL untill you will receive GC.
BTW i got mine yesterday. Test was so stupid but i passed

The ceremony was 1h 45min, 54 new citizens. Everyone was nice and happy. The stuff only complained on lack of black ink pens ( budget cuts
