  1. Sorry, but not sure I understand your note correctly. So, did you hear anything within those 30 days after submitted service request, or are in the next 30 days of waiting and you have never heard back anything regarding your case status?

I've submitted my SR and received a letter from TSC directly telling me they 'are actively working on my case'. That's all. And the letter came about 12 days after submitting SR.

  2. Awesome News U&S! This gives me light in the tunnel, as I am the same as you - Post Decision Activity online, hard copy letter, etc, but a week later than yours. So, so, so - I truly hope to get a decision next Wednesday then! :-) I could only hope. What I received today was a letter from the USCIS about my service request I was able to submit - despite my 4 month I-130 process so far. So as everyone can see - it all depends who you have luck to talk to. Anyways, the letter says that my application is currently being actively processed. And it required further additional check, so hence the delay (I think it is just a boilerplate being sent to everyone with a service request), and if I don't hear anything within 6 months from date of this letter, I should contact them again! Yeah right, great! Again - believe and have faith it is only a boilerplate and nothing personal.

So, here it is. They start doing something. Let us all hope! U&S so so so happy for you! Finally. Awesome stuff. All the best for you and all of us still waiting.............................

  3. I think we have exactly the same circle selected and are on the same boat. This does not mean anything! There are many other people in the same situation. You got it on Nov.24th, I got it on Nov.29th. Since then - ZERO response via email, online, nor hard copy NOA-2. It appears to almost everyone it is an error on USCIS part, but they have not admitted to it, nor anyone else yet received anything positive since that strange USCIS change in our cases. Keep the faith!

  4. Guys - I have a completely other idea of what might be the cause for TSC USCIS making some cases (mine among them) marked Post Decision Activity with no NOA-2 approval, but statement State Dept returned this case for a review to USCIS. Maybe, all USCIS service centers received a directive from NVC to stop sending approved I-130s (if they were processes in less than 5 months timeframe), because NVC does not want to get backlogged? Hence, TSC that speeded up all those I-130s was ready to send them to NVC and someone higher up said to stop, as NVC would not be able to handle so many of them. So, in case of those that were well within a 5 month timeframe, USCIS had to assign them some category that they could keep them for a while, before 5 months is up for them and they can be send to NVC. Unfortunately, USCIS might have not reviewed each case thoroughly and they stopped some cases that were already ready to be send to NVC, because of their internal mess or a directive stating: I don't care what cases you have on your desk, but these stay here for the next ??? days/months before we send them to NVC. Just a thought. Maybe not a very intelligent one, but still a thought.

  5. U&S - thanks for your feedback. Do you think that TSC will pull all those post decision activity I-130s and adjudicate, or only those that member's of Congress will follow up upon? I don't think it is good news as USCIS is not admitting to their administrative error while processing I-130 cases. I have contacted an immigration lawyer and all I got back is that it is 99% error on USCIS part and it should be resolved soon. Nothing new to me though!

  6. This still does not change anything. It appears to be an error, but no one has yet confirmed it to be an error, as the USCIS has not changed/sent anything to anyone making them aware of USCIS error. So, I am just not sure what other news are you bringing with your post? I only hope USCIS will update those cases with post decision soon and resolves their internal error.

  7. Absolute nonsense - USCIS is processing your I-129F, but dropped their ball on your I-130. As you may know or remember, I have also received a post decision activity and hard copy letter this past Friday reiterating the very same thing as in the automated email that State Dept returned case to USCIS for a review. Makes no sense of whatsoever and your timeline and process even further supports the USCIS making a mistake with those post decision activity reviews, since they are processing one of your application, but not the other. Total screw up! Hopefully, they'll resolve this as quickly as possible and send us NOA-2 approvals and further onto NVC, embassy, and NORMAL LIFE at last! Good luck y'all!

  8. NAB - I love it! You couldn't state it better than you did! Completely unfair organization. In fact, this all appears to me that this country still believes is the best, wealthiest, etc in the world. Gosh - I love it to death and would die for it, but just by such actions and treatment of us - HONEST citizens - causes me to believe otherwise. We are treated like worst category "citizens." That's ridiculous. And we all on this board are intimidated by it as we are at its mercy. Thanks for destroying my truly honest bona fide marriage. I suffer, my wife suffers, my family suffers. Just to be fair and act honest as this is the foundation of this country - our country we love, cherish, and are willing to die for! Another day, weekend, hour, minute, second spend without my loved one. Awesome - perfect marriage or what? :-)

  9. Here is my theory on this mrs.T - we are NOT approved and our case never was transferred to State Dept. We should still be in the Initial Review. They were doing something to our cases and messed up internally by choosing wrong boilerplate template and that's what caused the error. Subsequently, I know that so far U&S has also received a hard copy of that automated post decision activity email. This is probably USCIS error as well, as I believe (not knowing how their system works), once someone updates/touches/does anything to your actual case and tries to update the system, they choose different available boilerplates to update the online system. After that, system itself generates/prints hard copy NOAs to that effect. And the story ends.

  10. You're asking me questions I have no answers for. All I can tell you is that if I were in your shoes, I would simply wait, as nothing looks in your timeline as being messed up. On the contrary to my and many other cases, where you are in the Initial Review, and next day you are in Post Decision Activity stage, but never heard nor received NOA-2 and nothing else. As I was clearly told today - in order for State Dept to send back your case to USCIS for a review, your case must have been first approved by the USCIS in order to be send to the State Dept. State Dept would not receive your case from the USCIS if it was not approved in the first place. And if case is approved, then NOA-2 gets generated. Where in my instance, case maybe was approved, but NOA-2 never produced, yet State Dept sending it back? Wait a minute - that's just wrong and completely the other way around. Or am I missing something here?

  11. It really depends who you have a chance to speak with at the USCIS. This lady, I spoke with, clearly was very senior and probably has her 20+ years of service at USCIS. She immediately knew that something is wrong and she said it herself. She asked - so you did not get your NOA-2 approval in mail, yet your case is in Post Decision Activity stage. That's wrong. Let me take your email address and contact information and I will personally send an email to that office to check into your case why they have not generated your NOA-2 yet. You will hear from them soon either via email or regular mail. That's it. She never said your case is too new because it has been a little over 3 months etc. It doesn't matter - she knew it is their mistake somewhere in the process, so why would I have to be penelized by a response you need to wait min 5 months before we can take care of our error. If everyone was like she is at that office, we would have all been having approvals in less than a month timeframe. Instead, it is what it is. I only hope her action would be to my advantage and someone will truly realize they messed up somewhere in the process. Keep the faith everyone!

  12. U&S - thank you very much for the update! I was on the phone with TSC as well myself just minutes ago. Got escalated to level-2 person who said exactly the same thing and did file a service request on my case now as well. Hopefully, they will act upon it now. I am having slightly a better feeling after this now. Thanks for sharing. I was just going to write the same stuff myself. Good luck everyone and let us learn how to be more patient, I guess.
