Thanks you are right. Congratulations, just read you got SIF. Wonderful news. At last!

Our AVR message in the NVC has changed yesterday to "We have received your checklist???(hard to understand), please allow 6-8 weeks for processing." We have sent to NVC both packages through our lawyer two weeks ago and received acknowledgement of the receipt by NVC immediately then. What this message could mean? I could not understand the two words in the message and they sounded to me as "check list", but am not too sure.
Anyone please advise? I believe they are now reviewing our AOS and IV packet and if no RFEs the case will be closed in the next couple of days. Am I correct?
Thank you everyone. Soooo close! Excitement!

Good luck Erick. We are all almost there. Hang in there for just a little longer and keep the faith.
The embassy will contact your spouse via snail mail, email, or both. NVC is killin' me.... Expedite approved around the 22nd and they just shipped it today Oh well... it left Florida at 1545 today. Hopefully the Consulate will receive it and input it before the end of the week.
-
Erick - all documents (AOS/IV) have been submitted and confirmed by NVC yesterday. Awaiting a decision from NVC now. Good luck to you and your wife! So happy for your expedite.
WOW.... that is wicked fast.... CONGRATS... and good luck getting everything taken care of.
Thank you Lucas... what's the status of your case bro?
CONGRATS!!!!
NVC sends the request to the respective Embassy/Consulate. The Embassy/Consulate will notify NVC of the results (Approved/Denied). Ultimately, the decision is up to the Embassy/Consulate, as they are the ones that will setup the interview. so.... in a nutshell, NVC "should" be taking care of it. I don't know if contacting the Embassy would do any good or not. Maybe Wade (Sqdngus) could answer this better.

Dear All - will I be able to see if/when NVC enters my AOS and IV Package into their system? Or is this something you could only get from an operator when you call? I've submitted AOS and IV package yesterday and today received FedEx confirmation that NVC has received it.
-
Erick - congratulations on the expedite with NVC. All the best!

That is a coincidence. WOW!
What a coincidence , we have the same day, month and year at our weddings Feb 28 2009 . I have my case number since 28 Feb. and our cover sheet say IR1. Probably you will have IR1 but at the embassy 100%.
-
Hello everyone - quick question. I noticed on my Cover Sheets both on AOS and IV, that they are marked with "CR1" underneath the bar code. If our marriage was over 2 years ago after the NVC inputted our case into their system, shouldn't that be marked with "IR1"? Did they make a mistake or is that corrected some place else along the process? Thank you!

I would wait and send both packages together.
Thanks for the info. What you are gonna do if you were me? your advice will be appreciated

I am only sharing information, not suggesting anyone to do one way or the other. Because we use our lawyer, we did not have the DS-3023 Choice of Agent and received one combined email from NVC with both AOS and IV invoices to be paid. Both were processed and paid at the same time. I, then, thought we could send AOS (as is already ready to be send out) and wait until we gather all docs for IV package, but was told by our lawyer to hold on and send both together as otherwise we will not gain in time, but it would take longer. They have done tons of these cases and can attest to it in terms of timing.
Now I am confused. I have not paid IV fee yet. I was planning to send AOS today. What should I do? Send it today or hold till payment of IV? thanks
-
We have not send ours just yet, but it seems that our lawyer will be sending both packages together in the same envelope.
-
Just learned from a lawyer that sending AOS and IV packages separately usually cause more turnaround time with NVC than sending them together. I thought it was a two independent track process. Not sure who's right, but know as a fact that so far I've never been disappointed with lawyer's suggestions.

Hmm... Interesting. Thank you Sensei. Looks like June or July by rough estimate or even May if way too optimistic.
Thank you Never Lose Hope as well. Keep the faith!

Because of excitement, getting ahead of myself thinking where to find info on how long would it take from CC to the actual Interview schedule. Filing with WRW - Warsaw Embassy in Poland for beneficiary. This question instigated after our Spreadsheet Sensei mentioned about 2 months wait with Montreal. Just curious? Any direction? Thank you very much!
-
Spreadsheet Sensei - thank you for continuous support.

Just paid both AOS and IV fees with NVC. All show IN PROCESS now. Lawyer said OK for me to pay. Excited like crazy. Are we getting closer??? :-)
-
Thanks Guys very much! Appreciate it. Calling lawyer and operator now. :-)
-
Received an email from NVC - contains the attached pdf file with 5 pages. In short - it has AOS and IV instruction to make payment. Now also able to login to the NVC site to make payment. Can I select both AOS and IV and make both of these payments at the same time? Using a lawyer for processing the I-130, so nothing mentioned about the Choice of Agent. Email addressed to a lawyer, but copied both to petitioner and beneficiary. I agreed with the lawyer, that I will make payments myself. Any suggestions before doing so?

Thank you all and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone as well. Rackmaster - it will come any day now! I know it will. Stay and be positive.
-
Thank you Erick! Crossing fingers for you too all the time.
CONGRATS Brother.

Saylin is correct and this is exactly how I did this today - provided an operated with our email addresses. However, we are having a lawyer to handle this entire process for us, so NVC already had its email address and no Choice of Agent necessary for us as it's done automatically.
-
Great thanks!
i am having a same issue. When you receive an emil from NVC regarding your case, you will be able on login. I called NVC yesterday, and they told me to wait for few days to recieve email from them.
-
Why, when trying to login to the Dept of State NVC I get the following error message:
Sign In Failed
* Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.
Am I being too quick? They have just assigned our case number yesterday! Any thoughts? Thank you!

Dear Friends,
Long time no hear from lucas_34. It is with great pleasure to inform you that my wife is already in the USA with me as of last Thursday June 16, and, most importantly as a US Legal Permanent Resident. We are finally through this entire messy process. Awaiting green card in mail and her social as well (I only hope USCIS forwars it to Social Security - if we don't hear in 3 weeks max, we'll go there in person!).
All the best to everyone. We are done once and for all.
Cheers,
Lucas
