  1. My RFE came today.

It's not the G-325A forms, which I had expected.

Maybe they don't mind photocopied ones... though I would still have sent the ink signed ones anyway.

And wow, it was the STUPIDEST THING EVER.

A really, really stupid missed thing.

    Section C of the I-129F, Question 2.

... She forgot to check the "No" box. THAT'S IT.

Thank goodness I don't have to send paperwork to him.

Weird how they took my signed G-325As.... so far.

Do they look through the whole package then RFE, or stop when they find one and send the RFE?

    That's what I wonder.

Easy does it Rhiann! We're very happy for you (F)

  2. My case looked exactly like that... bet you that your NOA2 date will be 08/27/09 and the date the hardcopy letter will be mailed is 08/28/2009. I never got an e-mail, I never got a status change.... in fact... it still says pending... but I've got the letter from NVC saying it was received, and also NVC told me on the phone when it was sent.... so I bet you those two touches are just like mine!!!

So it is really possible that they do not update the online status on most cases as well and they never send an email huh? I have already read more than a handful like your Chaz. Up to this time, their I-129F status is pending and they're done with AOS already!

  3. Front loading or skimpily attaching with evidence I believe isn't the deal breaker here. It is attaching the right article and answering the inquiries on the petition paper correctly and the biographic information sheet. Add to these providing proof sufficient to declare that your fiance/e and you have met in person within two years of filing the I-129F.

I am sure you have what it all needs right there

  4. I always use the NOA1 date that's printed on the letter... mail time can always vary on when it actually ends up in your mailbox... I always looked at the berkeley's list, because it gets rid of all the old petitions that are past processing times... most likely, those people never updated their timelines... seems more accurate to me to keep only the people within processing times.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you Chaz! We do the same as you do as well. Keep the faith! That paper will come in due time :)

  5. In a few weeks we will all have our news :) Let's keep the positive thought going! ^_^

Your an end of May 09 filer just like me. I hope we both get ours soon :)

Praying here because we'd like to be together by thanksgiving :) Yes Starlight! Let's keep up the positive spirit and the faith :)

    (F) Congratulations to the recent approvals today! I saw some already had but had not yet had time to update their timelines already :)

  6. I understand that the timelines serve as our way to approximate our paper's working continuum. Unwittingly on our part, there must be more in number who had filed for I129F and aren't members here even. I am just curious on two points with regards to processing times. One, NOA1 is determined by the date of receipt of it in the mailbox (residence) or on the the date on the notice itself? Two, which is more appropriate to look; the berkeley's list or the one on here under immigration timeline?

    Thank you very much!

I checked our status this morning and WE WERE APPROVED!!! :D:D

I didn't receive an email so I wasn't expecting it at allll. Oh my gosh, so excited.

    You all are next!

    (F) Congratulations!

  7. As I understood, in cases of late registered birth certificates, Consul would normally/commonly ask to see an original copy of the baptismal certificate. Although, bringing more proof as would even be greater still.
