    Nothing so far in the post about the last set of fingerprints. They only took 7 days last time to send me a second letter, so I am not sure if I am out of the woods, or if they are still going to send me a demand for clearances.
    One good thing, my husband was so annoyed about getting that speeding ticket, for 5 miles over the limit, he went to court today. He entered a plea of no contest. The judge asked to hear his story. He told him we were on our way to TN to get fingerprints taken, and why. He asked to see the appointment letter. Good thing I had it on me. This bit proved useful:
    PLEASE APPEAR AT THE BELOW APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED. IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED.

    Dismissed. No fine, no points, nada.

    I know I am an overly positive person, but really, if you think about it, you have nothing to be nervous about... Yes it is an important part of the process, but think about what they will ask you, questions about your marriage and life. You've spent the last 2 years with this person, living day to day, learning their little habits, making long term plans and dreams and have shared a bunch of experiences with them. In a positive way, it'll be fun to recap it all. If your marriage is real and genuine, and you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be an issue.

    That's another good news! May we don't have to wait for more than three months from our date of submission.
    The week hasn't ended yet. I hope you get your receipt on or before Saturday this week.

    The passport photos are only needed if you are in the military. Take a look at the bottom of page 1 of the instructions. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-751instr.pdf
