  1. Ok i called NVC to check on my status for my husbands CR1 case and it says that the NVC is awaiting biographic forms from petitioner. Which forms are these?

I already paid the IV fee and have recieved my cover sheet but what are the biographic forms please help.

    thanks in advance

normally its form G325. They need four copies of these. Did the petitioner send them in with the form I 130?

  2. Hey guys,

I am helping a friend file for his adjustment of status, but I had a few questions about the application packet.

We've filled out a I-130 form with all its required documents. And, a form I-485 with all its required documents.

In addition, we've filled out a form I-864, and I-765, but I am confused about I-693. Are we suppose to get an appointment beforehand, get this form filled out by a doctor, and include it in the application? or is this for later when we get an appointment letter sent to us?

Another thing that I wanted to make sure is that are we suppose to arrange ALL the forms in to one packet and send it together? or send them separately? I was of the impression that I should send them together, and send them to the address at which I am suppose to send the I-485. am I correct about this?

also, can it be one big check or am i suppose to send three different checks (I-130, I-485, and biometrics)?

    thank you.

  3. Dang, but I owe to 8 different doctors, specialists, radiologists, pathologists... even if I set up $50 per month that's still $400 a month!

Don't get me wrong, I am not a bad person, I intend to pay all those people for their work, it's just that this year is such a bad timing ...

It makes me so mad that close to 4K of the 10K I owe is pharmacy billing, that's too damn much money for couple of IVs and pain medicine.

I cannot let this stress me out any more, because I have noticed I am getting weaker by the day, can't stop shaking and biting my nails, I catch myself looking like a crazy person looking completely distressed, lost, can't pay attention to anything any more, and my mom and husband have been telling me for a month now to seek a psychologists.

I would go if they wouldn't charge this much, all the healing he would do would be reversed once I received his damn bill

Thanks for your advice girls, I really appreciate it ...

They can never force you to pay them. Max they can do is get you a bad credit. But, it goes away after 5 (or six?) years. Also, keep in mind, that even if you owe them a million, they can never refuse you medical assisstance....it'll be against the law.

So, you've got the upper hand in the negotiations.

My advice is that you should keep in touch with them. Ask them for minimum monthly payments. If you can afford it, agree to it...otherwise tell them that you can yet.

If they forward the debt to a collection agency...do the same thing. Keep in touch and let them know how much you can afford to pay monthly. 5 or 10 dollars would keep them happpy too...and it wont affect your credit.

    medical bills suck

    Best of prayers.

  4. CR1 is only for immediate relatives. If you are engaged, it is not considered a relative. You can apply for CR1 after you get married, or apply for a fiance visa using form I-129F if you are engaged.

However, you have a deadline to get married on a fiance visa.

    Yes, I know.

But, the problem is that we just got engaged. and right now, he is in Saudi Arabia and, i am in USA. If we get married by phone, or through postal mail, or through an attorney....will uscis accept that as proof of marriage?

  5. He would need one from both countries.

any country he has lived in for more than 6 months since he turned 16...he needs a certificate.

It is really not that difficult to get one from pakistan if he has family living here, they can mail the forms and stuff to him.

He does not have any family in Pakistan anymore. I have heard that he has to be physically be ther to get a police certificate. But it is not possible for him to go...what should he do?

    Thankyou for your quick reply.

  6. I am a US citizen living in Texas. I am engaged to a Pakistani citizen who has been living in Saudi Arabia for more than a year. We were both in Pakistan a couple of months ago and got engaged together.

I want to apply for CR1 visa. Is there any way for us to get married over the phone or by postal mail. Does USCIS accept those marriages, and does it allow us to apply for CR1?

    Thankyou

I really want to apply CR1 and not the fiance visa. Any suggestions?

  7. I am going to apply for my fiance to get K1 visa.

I had a question about police certificates. He was born in Pakistan and is a Pakistani citizen, but currently lives in Saudi Arabia. He has been living in Saudi Arabia for more than a year. Does he need police certificate from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia?

Also, its difficult for him to go back to Pakistan. How can he get a Pakistan police certificate by staying in Saudi Arabia?

  8. Ok, so NVC received my AOS packet today. How long should I wait before I may become hopeful that they have entered it into their system and it is being reviewed?

any day, my friend. It can be any day now.

Quick question for all folks who got false RFEs. Do you recieve an email when you get a false RFE Or just AVR changes???

    I received emails.

i emailed NVC our ds 3032 and also mailed it thru snail mail...how do i know they have accepted it?

keep on checking the website to see if the IV fee bill is available to be paid. If it is available, your ds3032 was accepted. But, confirm it with an operator before paying it. Also, you will get an email too. But, normally email is received after a coupleof days. So, checxking the website for IV fee bill is the fastest way.

    Best of prayers.

If I should be able to send in my aos package by the middle or the end of this month(June)....when would I most likely get a case complete, transferred to embassy AND when would I be able to strike an interview?????? any suggestions?

Try to send it in by middle of this month. You case will be complete within 7-10 days after it. And, interviews are assigned begining of each month.

For Pakistan, interviews are scheduled for after a month. So, if you send all the docs in by mid of June, you will have case complete by end of june. and interview schedule will be made early july, but the actual interview will be in mid of august.

    Hope that made sense.

  9. No I have never filed, nor needed to file a tax return pr any sort of tax form at that. I have never been employed and only recently graduated h/s ans got my ged.....will be starting college soon and do not plan to work for some time....therefor i do and did not qualify to file taxes from 2006 to 2008..actually ever...because I did not make enough....and the publication clearly states by gross income whether or not a person is to file taxes.

that question was directed towards eklondon :)

But, its cool that you dont have to file a tax return. Less papers, less time to get case complete...lets hope. :)

  10. 4868??? I have no clue what that is. All I know is that my parents say that all they have received is the delivery receipt confirming the letters delivery and what not......they are saying there is no other letter or form to wait for...the receipt means extension.

maybe the receipt that they are talking about is the form 4868?

Its just a one page form, kinda like a stub which confirms the extension. If you have it, thats all you need to prove the extension.

  11. My question(s) is/are....

would it be okay if I just sent the delivery receipt my parents were mailed....it seems that they have not received any other sort of letter from the irs but they still have their extension....so I believe this should be good enough right??????What say you?.....

do you have the form 4868? If yes, send that in with your docs.

Is it ABSOLUTELY necessary that my mother and father provide employment letters...what if one, or both cannot get them.....wouldn't the paychecks and pay stubs be enough?

No, employment letters of the sponsors other than petitioners are not required. So, basically, you dont have to send your father's or mother's employment letter.

  12. Thanks everyone for the good wishes. and Congrats to all the other interview schedules.

    Remo28 Congragulations - I see ur from Dallas 2 - i m hoping to head out there 2 INSHALLAH.

Good luck with the interview will be in touch

Thanks, man. We should definitely stay in touch :)

    danat, Remo and dvrjwh!!

Quick question for you and all others who have sent their documents. How many of you have sent both AOS and Ds-230 together in one Packet?? I sent my documents seperatly in two different packets!! Just wondering!! Thanks!!

I sent mine together, and i still got the false rfe. Actually, I had three false rfe's. In my opinion, you should not wait to send them together. Instead, send it the documents as soon as it is ready. Saves you time. Best of prayers.

( I read somewhere on VJ that this is the new address, hope to God I am right :))

You're fine. Everything will go smoothly. :)

  13. The questions:

    - they will file 2009 taxes next year...i think that is how it is done right?because how can they file for 2009 when that financial year hasn't even completed yet.

Yea. They'll file 2009 next year. You wouldnt need their 2009 tax info for your aos packet.

    - do you think that the employment letters are necessary? my mother is an lpn nurse and father is travel agent.......???

They do not need any employment letters because they are not the petitioners.

    - Should i just fill out the i864 and have my parents fill out 1 i864a?(they wouldnt have to fill out two would they..they do joint taxes and grandma is dependant???) and just send my parents financial docs and not mine...as i have none?

They will both have to file separate 864a for you and include two sets of tax returns even though they file jointly.

As far as you are concerned, its a little complicated issue. Because they require you to file taxes. I think there is even a question on 864 asking that did you file taxes for last three years. So, you will need a letter or something proving that you did not work. I would suggest that you file 2008 tax return even if you had very little income. I guess I will send you a detailed message regarding this.

Hope this helps. best of prayers.
