Update after Legal advice:
Attorney mentioned, I can file I-130 along with an attendum explaining why I intentionally did not disclose him as my child, and showing that I provided no support for him during his life will help with that, but aside from that I can file Form I-130 if I am listed on his birth certificate. His age freezes the day I file for one year and all the process will be done by then and hoping he could have received an immigrant visa by then.He also stated that he had represented much worse cases than this one and It was all turned out to be okay.
I will be sending out the package this week. Thank you all. Fingers crossed and leave the rest to the God.

Nigeriaorbust and JessDak, Tears rolling down while reading your post. Thank you and thank you so much for understanding. That's exactly what I thought. I didn't think he will even approve me as mom years later. I wasn't intending to hide anything. Now I'm trying hard to being accepted and want him in each other lives. After reading these posts, he says mom don't worry about it. I am fine here. I don't want you and sister to go thru anything becas of me.
I sincerely apologies to Anitafeliz. For a moment I took it as defensive. I understand you are trying to give your genuine thoughts and help in this case. Please forgive us. It's very emotional. I pray and leave rest to the God.

Anitafeliz, I don't have to have a different version of story. He was born while I was a teen ager. I filed my petition in 2012 when I didn't have any information about where he is and birth certificate. I only have him and my daughter that's all. I came here for work and filed adjustment of status when my husband became USC. I will handle it if there will be a qn asked when I file petition. I don't need this discouragements and nasty judgement from any of you.

I don't have any reason to "lie". I had been in US more than 11 yrs now. I came here for working and I am reputed entrepreneur and director of big IT company. There is no reason for me to lie just to stay here in US.
I didn't have any information about him to list. I couldn't go back to my country to find out all the information. I was pregnant with my daughter when I filed for GC. Since I didn't have any information and he was born out of wed lock. So, I left it at that. Period. Please don't judge people.
We are all here for one common goal.

I didn't come here based on marriage. I was working on H1B since 2005. When my husband became a USC in 2009 I filed an adjustment of status thru I-485. I had no records of him to list.
Just last year I found him. Now I am looking to bring him here. He is 20 yrs now. I didn't want to complicate things.
Please any one could possibly help me with potential issues. I thought I only have to give them the birth certificate along with my naturalization document and US passport. I didn't have any details of him to list in N400 with supporting document to USCIS. This child was born when I was 19. My son's father family took the child away and I went back to school.

Thank you. He was born when I was 19 out of wed lock. I was afraid to list him as my son during my N400 citizenship process. I do agree that there may be a DNA test required. Which is perfectly fine since I'm his mom.
I badly wanted to file now since he has all the paper work. My family also supporting to bring him here. I will file them in 2 days.
Do I also send them the financial statement for the proof of supporting? I have that.
I don't have a pics of him and I to send it.
Uscis.gov website says I can also file for K-4 visa (Form I-129F) along with I-130 so he can come and live and go to school. Is that true?
Please I request you all experts to help me. So he can see me and have a family here.

Hi Sir, I am a naturalized USC thru marriage. When I was a teen ager I had a son and the father of son family took him away. Later I got married and moved here in United States. I have a 7yr old daughter with my current marriage. When I filed my N400 I never listed him Since I had no information about him. He is 20yrs old now and I found him last year. Can I still petition for him? I had been supporting him last one year.
I have a proof of birth certificate.
Please help. We only have 6 months left before he turns 21.

check your inbox too, to send messages...No news for me, still in que and waiting....Thanks for the date, I guess they send out the letter end of february, so around 3 weeks before...do you know if the oath in january actually took place? The officer told me they wont do it if they don't have enough people or something like that......so maybe that was the reason you didn't get a letter for the january one...!? I don't know. Maybe they are waiting to have enough people together....The maximum amount of people is 75 for the ceremony. It's hard to tell :/ Can you tell me what number you called to find out about the dates at the courthouse... Thanks and lets keep in touch. Good luck.
Hi FLBoy, I just got an email notification that they "I am scheduled for oath ceremony and they sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. I guess it's going to be on March 21st. I hope you will also get the notification soon if not this week may be next week. Please keep me posted.

I had my Interview a few days ago in JAX. I will have my oath also in Tally. The officer said in March and May will be the next ceremonies here...they send the letters 2-4 weeks before that.....I dont know the exact dates, but you can call the courthouse and find out maybe!? Let me know when you have any news please, I let you know too...

I know the exact date for March. It's March 21st. But mine was put on queue on Dec 14th. So, I called the court house around 1st week of January and they told me that Jan 30th and March 21st are the next ceremony dates. I didn't get letter for Jan 30th and I haven't gotten one for March yet. May be its too early for March 21st. Lets wait and see. Did you get one for March 21st? Pleae let me know.

Hey Guys,
I had my interview on Dec 13th and I got the recommendation letter that I was passed and my applicaiton was put on the queue for oath ceremony schedule. It's been 2 months now and I haven't received a letter. I tried to call them and custmer service folks says that it can take anywere around 3-4 months to receive a letter. It's strange. I think may be Tallahassee is a very small place and they have to wait for more people to gather up for ceremony.
Please advise.

My online status says, " On Dec 14, 2012 we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled."

as far as me, it has been 66 days since my early bio and still no word or status change, still stuck on Initial Review. green card anniversary date is Dec 23, which is coming up soon!!!

Hi All,
My interview is done today. Overall it went off very well.
My interview was at Jacksonville office at 10am and we arrived at 9.45 and checked in took 5 mins. I dropped in the interview letter at 9.55. My husband and toddler daughter went to use rest room. I was called in exactly at 10 am and she asked me to raise my right hand to promise if I am telling all the truth.
She asked if I made 3 trips out of united states I said "Yes" But I went to India after filing citizenship papers. So, Before I mention that she asked about that trip looking at Passport. I said yes we went since my father in law was seriously ill and I was going to tell you that. She said its allright and asked when did I leave?., I said OCT 24th and returned on Nov 27th. She asked me to sign on my photographs and some papers?

Are you living in the same place? Yes
Is your marraige is in good terms? Yes
What is the one promise you make when you become a US Citizen?
Who is the Governor of FL?
Where is the statue of Liberty located?
what are two national holidays in US?

The President lives in The White house.
Thats all. She gave the piece paper and said Congratulations you passed the test. You will be receiving the letter for ceremony in 2 months. It was all done less than 10 mins. I came out and waited for husband and daughter.
They came and asked me if they haven't called me yet. I said "All done" he was surprised.
Altogether it was good and all done. I am done with this journey and driving to Jacksonville.
