  4. hi am mareid from usa citizen wife and i hav my permanet residant card for 2 yers and i been in usa for 3 monthe now and my wife she tured me bad and she ask me for divorce i wanna help whats it will happeind for me if she divorce me do i will stay in usa after 2yers can me hav my green card for 10yers or 5yers or i will lose it pleasss help me

    Question:

Are you semi retarded or fully retarded?

Not because a person cannot speak good english or write with a good grammar, that does not mean the person is "retarded". Just like in our Country, Philippines, not all can speak good English-- are you saying that these people, your co-Filipinos, are "retarded"? I just wish people will be more considerate especially for those whose primary language is not "English".

THE USER: tallcoolone is always being sarcastic. Probably he/she have issues his/herself. God Bless them.

  5. Your beneficiary should know everything about you, that is the reason why there is an interview with the American Consular Officer. They conduct interview even though you gave all hard copy of your relationship (picture, letters, e-mails, cards, packages, etc.) just for them to make sure your beneficiary knows you well and if the relationship is true, *ehem* because sad to say in reality, there are girls out there who use this process just to get to US and dig gold, which isn't cool at all. :bonk:

Ask your beneficiary if she really signed to withdraw your application. She SHOULD have read it before she signed. If she did not understand anything on it, they will explain it to her BEFORE signing it. But like you said, she is a simple farm girl, probably she did not understand anything about it and just signed and on her interview she was misunderstood by the interviewer. Sometimes poor english skills of a beneficiary & big age difference leads to more investigation and/or denial or not approved.

I do not know what else to say, I had good experience and treatment with the US Embassy Manila's employees and the CO who interviewed me. Good luck to your visa journey.

  6. i was wearing jeans and a nice girly polo shirt when i had my interview. it doesn't need to be so classy cause it is not an interview to get your dream job or an interview for a call center agent position. lol. just look fresh and neat. :)
  7. hey lovelies! my co-instructor's sister (in Taekwondo) is one of the pretty nurses who works at the releasing counter at SLMEC. i asked her if the clinic is available for the whole week or not. this is what she told me:

"> no advisory for that yet..but definitely we'll be observing holidays..not sure lang if that will be for a whole week or 2 days lang..:D"

Probably they are open only until Wednesday, April 8th. The two days they're close would be Maundy Thursday and Good/Holy Friday, these for sure are no business/working days cause they're the most important days on Holy Week.

**Posting this for those who will have their interview the week after Holy Week. I will let y'all know if she would tell me updates  Oh, anyone could still try to get through their busy line to ask, just to make sure if they are close for the whole week or just the in 2 days. :)

  8. ¡Felicidades!

    Gracias! :D

Wow what a great news! That's awesome and we're all happy for you. Now you can pack up your things and throw a party!

    CONGRATS and BON VOYAGE!

actually, my stuff are packed a month and a half ago before my medical. lol

anyway, thank you to everyone who greeted me :D

  9. i posted my OMG!! OMG!! bulletin a while ago, just to let everybody know i got my visa today. lol. uhm, i just want to say im sorry for not telling exact date/time to those who asked and will ask me when i will leave. just like in military family they follow OPSEC (Operation Security), just for me and my fiance's security no exact date/time, when i will leave or when i arrived to Detroit, will be posted on here.

thanks for understanding VJ family. :)

    Felicitacion!

gracias! i apreciar la versión en español de Felicitaciones.

  10. When you do get thru the seminar it will make sense. As I have said, there were so many ignorant women there who went for this seminar... they were clueless and I hate to say it but they don't look legit.

Just kind of a wake up call for gold-diggers and a good source of info for possible victims of domestic violence.

Also, the attendees of this seminar are not just US-bound. It's a way for the government to protect us. It's all for our sake.

OH! OH! OH! the alarm is on... WAKE UP MOTHER EFFING GOLD DIGGERS!!! it's time for you stew-pee-d bee-otches to spend your "husbands" riches today. UGH! i know a few of PI women like that (oooh don't make me mention names&places) hahahaha!! OOOPS!:whistle:

  11. Spent the whole day at SMEF and CFO today. Overall it was a great experience. I have met many lovely ladies out there. We even had lunch together at Abuhan beside Robinson's Place.

TIPS and ADVICE: You would opt to bring the requirements you presented to the US Embassy as the SMEF staff may ask for it for their own records. These will be kept in confidence and will be for your own good. It's a shame that when I was going thru the seminar I did notice some women there who are clueless about their partners and what klind of life they are entering. It was also evident for some that they are getting engaged or married for the sake of the money. This made me a lil sick. :(

The SMEF in Cebu have been getting very good feedback and they were all approachable and accommodating. Way to go!

    Requirements:

    SMEF

    K1:

    > Passport and visa photocopy

    > 2 valid IDs and photocopy

    > Photocopy of Birth certificate for me and my daughter

    > fee of PHP250.00

***My daughter is 7 so she was not required to join the seminar.

    Documents requested:

    > Biographic info of fiance

    > Letter of employment of fiance

    > Letter of intent to marry from fiance

    > Photocopy of divorce decree of fiance

    > Photocopy divorce certificate of fiance

    > Photocopy of fiance's birth certificate

    > Pictures together

    CFO

    K1:

    > Blue certificate from SMEF

    > Photocopy of passport and visa

    > Passport and visa

    > fee of PHP400.00

    K2:

    > one photo passport size or 2x2

    > Photocopy of passport and visa

    > Passport and visa

    > Fee of PHP400.00

made me sick as well. UGH! so hate GOLD-DIGGERS! they should be always reminded that money don't grow in trees. Lol.

anyway, thanks for sharing this. i might go have the seminar on Monday. depends on my mood. lmao

  13. ok, so i was watching tv when someone knocked at our house's gate and asked if there is someone who lives here named Jean. i said, yes it is me. then i saw a vehicle with the FEDEX's logo behind the guy. my heart starts to beat 100 times faster than normal. i do not know and no words can explain how i feel and how much happy i am! everything around me was like moving slowly like in the movies. lol

    MY VISA ARRIVED TODAY!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!

at exactly 1445 (oops military time. sorry) it's 2:45pm

  :dance:

too much surprised i called my wonderful man, he was asleep, i made him awake. lol. then i cried on the phone while i was talking to him. letting him know that my visa arrived! it's time to throw party! oh well, after i had the dumb seminar thingy. Lol.

to y'all here in VJ THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!! And, i blow good luck dusts to those who are still on their journey of visa process. Time will come and you lovelies will shout your excitement here. There will be a lot of space for y'all. Congratulations as well to those who passed their med exam, interview, already with their man and got hitched/will get hitched. God will always be with us, on this journey.

    Rock on! :D

    JEAN

P.S. for those who are waiting for their visa to arrive don't panic if you saw the corner of your yellow envelope open. it is ok. it is sent to you that way. just make sure don't peek in the envelope cause you might accidentally tear the open corner of the yellow envelope. just open the plastic and get your passport. that's it. don't remove the envelope in the plastic. just to make sure everything is ready and there would be no problems. ALL RIGHT!?
