may question din pala ako.. i had my 4 shots (HPV, Varicella, MMR & Td) of vaccine nung March 10th. When i got my Vaccination Documentation Worksheet the nurse told me after 2 months kailangan i have my 2nd shot of HPV & Varicella here sa US. So, nung May 10th 2 months na yung HPV & Varicella shots ko... Ok lang ba if i did not get the shot agad, right after 2 months nung 1st shot ko?

Medyo worried lang ako. Salamat sa mga magrereply.

If you are in a hurry and do not want to have too much stress to prepare for a church wedding in just 90 days.. then go for a civil wedding then do the church wedding later. That is what my hubby and i did. We went to Toledo, OH to have a courthouse wedding and for him to get me in his insurance right away. He said he is just worried that if i would get sick med fees costs a lot here. So, the day after we got married he changed his status in his insurances and put my name in it too. Then i applied for my SSN. After a week i received in mail my SSN card and health & dental insurance card.

Like others said, before you have church wedding you have to attend seminars. Preparing a church wedding in just 90 days sucks and stressful. After you get married you can apply for AOS.

Hello lovelies!! Kamusta na ba kayong lahat? I am super busy being a wife at sa business ko. Ang hirap pala when you are just starting your own business kailangan e-maintain. Hubby and I are doing great here. As always, lumalabas kami 2 kapag day off nya in work and i maintain the house clean kapag nasa work sya and at the same time nagttrabaho ang lola nyo sa business namin. Nag-scan lang ako sa mga posts nyo dito.

Nung Tuesday, day off ni hubby, Had lunch with mother-inlaw at Thompsons Pizza and she brought me to a salon to have hair cut & treatment. Then went to in-laws house. We talked about the 7 hectares na paghahatian ng hubby ko and his sister. It will be transferred to our names, hubby & i and sis-in-law & her hubby. Then we went target shooting. I shot the new assault rifle they use in military- M4 assault rifle, fully automatic glock 23 and a Ruger 22 rifle. Sa sobrang excited naiwan ko ang digital camera ko. Err.. kainis! Pero we will do it again next time so i will make sure i will not forget my camera. Hanggang ngayon i still have bruise on my right shoulder from M4. But worth it kasi sabi ng father-in-law ko I shoot like an expert though first time ko. Hehehe! Ayun dinala sa work nya yung target na ginamit namin to tell his colleagues. Natuwa naman ako my hubby & dad in law are proud of me. I will share pics next time we will have target shooting ulit. Syempre hindi lang puro posing, for real yun i am the one who pulls the trigger. Ooops! hahaha!

Hi Guys! I just need your opinion regarding the things that I am going to bring to US. I will start packing tomorrow, so I just want to know if what I will bring are allowed to US.

Here's the list:

Electronic Gadgets

- a big laptop with malfunction screen (my first laptop, I want to bring it because I haven't extract my important files, my fiance can fix it for me)

- small laptop (which I will use during stop over)

- portable hard drive

- USB

- digicam

- cellphone

- gameboy advance

Clothing, shoes, and bags, accessories (kikay things), and some very few jewelry

Perfume(mine and my fiance), soap and shampoo (I need to bring first those things because I have sensitive skin, I will try to look products that will suit my skin)

*** I want to bring food such as dried mangoes and polvoron, as well as chicharon... (I will sealed it very well)

All my electronic gadgets would be in my carry-on bag except for big laptop. I will bring also a small bag aside from carry-on bag (where I will put my passport, wallet, compact powder, lip balm, small perfume, hand sanitizer and planner).

Okay... Do you think all those things that I will bring are okay with immigration? I am afraid some will not be okay to them and they will throw it.

I will really appreciate your suggestions and comments....

everything is a-OK! make sure you seal the shampoo & perfume with duct tape, put it in between your clothes in your check-in baggage. the foods are ok as well, that's good that you will seal them (though it is already sealed from the store where you bought it).. mas ok na yung double sealed para sigurado.

electronic gadgets are cool. i brought mine to kill time & so i can get in touch with friends. i brough my laptop, digicam, PSP, 2 cellphones (roaming activated) and iPod. i put all of em in my back pack. tapos ung mga documents ko din sa backpack. then extra shirt, undies & maliit na kikay kit. hehehe. yung liquids sa hand carry should not be more than 3ml.

if your airline is NWA check their website & TSA's website.

Well, about the question on how i weighed my baggage, i only have a personal flat weighing scale that we have at home. I already used that to weigh my baggage before when i traveled abroad in 2002 and even sa mga local flights ko lang. Accurate naman sya basta tinitilt ko young box kse ndi naman sya kasya dun sa maliit na flat surface nung weighing scale. At least, it gives me the idea if kulang or sobra na ba sa 23 kgs. I'm planning na magexcess sa isang baggage ko basta not more than 5 kgs ang excess and ok lang din if i'm going to pay basta wag lang sobrang mahal at afford ko pa kesa nman magbawas ako at manghinayang na ndi ko pa dinala eh halos lahat naman ng pinack ko are really important items to me. Sana nga khit an excess of 1 or 2 kgs if 23 kgs ang weight limit sa China Airlines eh iallow na nila yon at wag na ipenalty hehe...

Kapatid, halos lahat ng meron dito meron di sa US.

Kung pwedeng dun mo na bilihin, iwan mo na lang. Besides, you are immigrating to the US... hindi naman mag-lalast lahat ng supplies mo.

suggestion lang naman. kasi minsan over over and singil dun... para ka ng bumili ng bagong stuffs... and i-wi-wish mo bumili ka na lang ng bagong stuffs.

she have a point. just bring a few pairs of jeans and tops when you & your man wants to hang out. and pair of pj's na pwede mo suot sa bahay lang. besides you will be here in a great time, SUMMER. you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. when you get here in the states, saka ka na lang bumili ng mga clothes that you can use, specially for winter. mas kailangan mo yun. besides summer is the great season to buy winter clothes kasi mura.

about your baggage. anything excess you will pay for it. check your airline. you can bring 2 check-in baggage 23kgs each. but make it 21 or 22kgs.

Hey ladies...can u tell us how to go to St. Mary's QC? If commute lang by jeep, sa Cubao ba sasakay? Anong route ng jeep ang sasakyan namin na dadaan sa St. Mary's? Raeka and I are planning to attend the seminar together as always hehe...coz we still wanna see each other at para ndi kme mabored. When i went to St. Mary's.. bumaba ako sa Aurora Blvd.. I was thinking to ride a jeepney kaso i am not sure if there's a cross walk. So i did ride a cab. Along Aurora Blvd. i paid 60php. Tell the cab driver ibaba kayo sa tapat ng PSBA. Nung bumaba ako in front of PSBA nakita ko may cross walk. Naisip ko, sana i took jeepney na lang. Anyway, it's your choice naman eh. Sa tapat ng PSBA may cross walk and there is a MMDA officer to help you to cross the road. Tapat mismo ng PSBA ang St. Marys.

yeah.. tell her to activate her ROAMING service 24 hours before she leaves Manila. GLOBE mobile service is much better than SMART. I met a filipina in Narita Airport and her SMART Roaming Service was bad. She was glad she have her GLOBE Roaming as well.

At NAIA, the first thing she will do is to check-in. Then she will pay for the fees. After she pays her fees, she will go back to the airport employee (at the check-in counter) who will print her boarding pass and baggage. There are a lot of employees at NAIA where she can ask what to do next. Tell her DON'T BE SHY TO ASK ON WHAT TO DO NEXT. It won't hurt to ask.

When she gets to her connecting flights (airport).. THE FIRST THING SHE WOULD DO is find the gate number where she will board. Tell her that she can find the gate number on her boarding pass.

At my state destination the immigration officer did not ask me questions cause he knows my hubby (they work together for DHS). But i read here in VJ that the immigration officers asks the same questions they ask in the interview. Not all though. Then the immigration officer will remind her about the 90 days period to get married.

And she will be greeted, WELCOME TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Kamusta na mga lovelies!? I missed you guys. Sorry i wasn't able to post much here. Been busy with graphic orders. I am doing fabulous here (maganda pa rin!).. wag kayo mag-alala. I am well taken care of dito. I am still working on my website and I will open my own on-line apparel shop this week. My business is doing great so far, had a lot of orders and still need to work on them. The best part of it is i am enjoying what i am doing and at the same time earning thousand dollars a day. Business ko na to dati pa when i was in the Philippines. Making websites, layouts and graphics (icons, banners & tags) for years. I am stll waiting for my State ID. Then hopefully makapsok ako sa graphic school na gusto ko pasukan, in International Academy of Design and Technology. I know i can get in, sayang naman pagiging consistent dean's lister ko. Magaling lang kumopya sa katabi kaya straight A's lagi! HAhahaha!!

Anyway, Congrats kay Mariel for the fast promotion. Siguradong napalulon ang bespren mo ng makita ang pusisyon mo sa trabaho. Hahaha!! Kaloka! Galing mo gurl! Tama yan. Enjoy mo lang work. Maganda lang jan yung sweldo.

Naka-sale lagi. alam nyo na kailanagan paghandaan ko ang winter baka maloka ako sa sobrang lamig. Nag-woworry din kasi yung in-laws ko na baka umiiyak ako dito mag-isa kapag nasa work si hubby ko. Ok naman ako dito. I am lovin' my new life and family here.. tho i miss a lot my mom na nasa pinas pa. Hopefully she will be here in fall.

I am glad na masaya si lyn sa bago nyang home and family. Busy-busy-han ang lola nyo dito. I am making my website, plan ko mag-sell ng custom photo cards & graphics/banners. Kamusta na ba kayong lahat? Ako eto maganda pa rin gaya nyo. Kaaalis lang ng aking hubby, waiting naman ako sa pagdating ng sis-in-law ko bonding kami.. alam nyo na shopping!! Sama kayo?

Naku.. sa mga hindi nakakaalam, AKO lang naman po ang nanakawan ng pic at she upload it sa account nya. Tsk..tsk..tsk.. may problema at sakit ang taong yun.. naway gumaling na sya! At mag-ingat sya sakin Hahaha!! Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga taong nag-inform sakin.

PINK: korek.. naloka ako sa mga single serving ng food dito para bang pang breakfast,lunch and dinner na. naalala ko tuloy kumain kami sa Old Chicago, yung hamburger kasing laki ng mukha ko tapos yung fries kasing laki ng 2 daliri ko. Naloka ako. Hindi ko nga naubos. No wonder madami overweight dito. Pero kahit panu nag-gym kami 3 or 4 times a week. Ma-lose ko rin yung lbs. na na-gain ko.
