  3. again my sincerest thanks to every one.My husband and I will be callin the numbers u gave us guys and check for a better deal.our sincerest appreciations to y'all.anyone from south jersey pls do contact me that we can meet sometimes...in cherry hill mall hehheehhehhe.seriously

If you are in Manila, or will be staying there the night before your flight, may I suggest Swagman Hotel and Travel www.swaggy.com Their office and hotel is across Roxas Blvd from the main gate of the US Embassy and 1 block east on A. Flores Ave. The Embassy CO's eat lunch there! Honest Australian operation will full service travel agency and hotel, good breakfast buffet, starts around 5am, and otherwise good restaurant, plus FREE mini-van to and from the airport, with no monkey business in dealing with the taxi mafia.

This hotel is not The Ritz diba, but they have made many renovations in the past years. I'll call it 2.5 star accommodations with 4 star service. It is very safe there and 1/2 block from 7-11 and Wendy's Hamburgers, both 24/7, Pizza Hut 2 blocks away. Swagman's steaks are some of the best in the RP and they have Tagalog food too all at reasonable cost.

Ask them for the 'First Time Overseas Traveler" discount on all air tickets. I have never heard that any credit card numbers have been misused by them. I have booked my ongoing air tickets by phone and email through them for over 10 years from the USA and they give me the tickets upon check in. No surprises, seamless transactions. BTW; Swagman has hotels and offices in many popular destinations in the RP, they have a good visa renewal service for those staying over 21 days.

Across A. Flores St from the Swagman are photo studios who can set you up with Kodak passport photos. I think it was P120 for 6 pieces. They have collar shirts, ties and jackets that you can wear for the photos. Directly across the street from the hotel in a white building next to the alley. 10 minute service. They know their business, best to get extra passport photos anyway for the paperwork to be filed in the USA.

    Good luck,

    NM

thanks for replying although your reply has nothing to do with my questions at all

  5. thanks for all d reply.we're trying to find a way how to get a ticket from eva air for myb two kids who will be following me here on november.it's so cheap online but i guess we can't buy them online since the airport will be requiring them the physical credit card used in buying tickets.

  6. My husband was laid off by the time we submitted the papers for my AOS until we had the interview. Immigration officer didn't even bother to ask about the situation of our financial during the interview. I had a co sponsor though.. my mother in law. I suggest you go ahead and apply and look for any family member who can be a co sponsor. If he was laid off you can also use the checks he is receiving from unemployment as proof. That's what we did. Good luck to you! Be sure to apply EAD so you can also work while waiting for GC.

thank you all for your responses.how long does it usually take for an ead to be released?is it advisable to apply for ead separately with the aos application?

  7. If you still have the Letter of Employment that you had from filing your K1 you may use it to support so with the latest pay stub from his previous (company he was recently laid-off). Just hope & pray that you won't have any interview to make it more easier for both of you!

won't the uscis goin to call the employer and verify?thanks

  8. If you still have the Letter of Employment that you had from filing your K1 you may use it to support so with the latest pay stub from his previous (company he was recently laid-off). Just hope & pray that you won't have any interview to make it more easier for both of you!

  9. my usc husband was fired from work, how are we going to apply for aos?i arrived via K1 visa.can we apply for aos?and if he doesnt have a job,are we going to be denied?thanks for the helpful tips you guys will be giving me

If he was fired or laid off, he can still file AOS.

but then letter of employent is needed and copies of pay stubs right?so if we file for an aos and we dont have the documents they're asking i.e. proofs of employment, then what hapens?thanks for the reply by the way.i appreciate it

  11. please stop commenting on this iam sorry but i hate this where are we going i just wanna people opinion how my wife willl feel in my house nothing else.

thank u so much for all the comments

hmmm why your wife sheryl can't tell you how she feels about your house?that you need other people's opinion?is she mute or somethin?is she blind?if she is blind that u need to show us for us to tell you how she feels then ..by all means...i would think she won't aprreciate the "22"ft hd tv (isnt that a projector what you shown?) a projector is hard to operate and if she is blind then she wont aprreciate it anyways..if she is mute?then a projector(22 ft) might be a good idea.hak hak hak..im really amused..my husband says it looked like u took a picture of a hotel room hehhehe...sorry i cant resist.anyways ask your wife how she feels about your house

  12. You can file a petition for“Declaration of nullity” this refers to marriages that are considered void or inexistent from the very beginning, since your marriage dont exist at NSO..i hope this helps...goodluck..

be careful in advising such a case.how can she file a declaration of nullity when her marriage which was done in the US wasnt reported to nso?and the op says she is single at nso's record.why would she need to do that?it really baffles me.if you are a lawyer kindly explain please.

  13. NBI clearance; police certificates from all foreign countries where the applicant lived for at least six months starting at the age of 16

cagayan de oro is still in the philippines ...all she needs an nbi clearance.as u read ur own post,it says police cert from all foreign countries applicant lived.this may be a shocker to u but cagayan de oro is still in the philippines.u only need police cearance from foreign country

  14. I think a point should be made.
    • Single means - Never married (not now, not ever)
    • Married means - Currently Married
    • Divorced - Were married but the union was dissolved (by divorce or annulment)
    • Widowed - Were married but one partner passed away.

Whether or not divorce exists in PI (or anywhere else) doesn't matter - you should be very careful not to 'switch' words and use "Single" when in fact you've been married before (I would think you should be extra careful with this when dealing with USEM).

our NATIONAL STATISTIC OFFICE which is the number one authority about a marital status of a FILIPINO CITIZEN says that once a citizen is annuled ,the marital status is single.

  15. he included it.u mean your fiance didnt submit a cenomar for you?when did u get ur annulment anyways?was it before his filing?during?if ur answer is u have an annulment decision before the filing of your petition then it shouldnt be a problem .so u can just bring the court docs on your interview.but if your annulment decision just came after the filing of your petition then i can't give u anymore advice.

  16. i was the same case as yours.i put single though i was annuled.but i brought all the dcouments i.e. court decision, finality, the nso annotated marriage cert that u are already annuled etc in red ribbon.so just bring ALL THE DOCUMENTS from the court and you will be asked for a cenomar at the embassy and that's where you will be needing those documents.and you should know my dear that u are already single upon court decision.i'm here already in the US of A

  17. i have prepared 2 chats a month but the consul didnt even asked for proof of relationship and im here already in the US but just dont make it too bulky because if the consul will ask then it will be easy slipped under

  18. and also try to refrain other's grammars...yuck.that's so embarrassing when our own sentence composition is not good either

Ano kaya ibig sabihin niya ng " also try to refrain other's grammars... yuck" ? :star:

try to refrain insulting other's grammars..nawala lang ung isang word ko.pwede namn kasi ng mg correct ng grammar ng iba eh pero before we do we make sure na tama ang grammar natin and sentence construction natin etc...otherwise let's leave it to the professional ang mgcorrect.we thought we're so good and right that we tend not to see our own mistakes, myself included.and my only point is lets stay neutral.yun lang po.but if posting one's opinion here eh ,i will be attacked with people who are so smart and righteous..then i guess this site is just for you people who wants their opinion be read only here.and im sorry i have even joined here since my opinion which is nothing but very neutral is just being attacked by same people who thinks they are just the one deserving to be in this site.and i just want to say thank you for all the people who had helped me in my previous questions.hail to the mighty ones of this site!!!! i hope the unfair mod will not erase this post.and im talking to u ronmay.ur unfairness and judgemental reviews of post from not your friends is so overwhelming.i guess u will erase this huh
